The NPO Senate does not operate on the basis of public transparency or public accountability. The NPO Senate is the governing body of an autocratic regime. While I'm absolutely sure that the NPO would have tried to prevent the consolidation of power by the Rahls in the East Pacific and the West Pacific prior to the Scardino coup, and have heard as much from past NPO officials, the reality was the NPO was at its weakest point politically and diplomatically at that point in time. In terms of NPO's external interests, Scardino's failed takeover was the next best thing.

Describing NPO's Cold War influence in TEP and TWP as "purely natural" is downplaying the severity of the influence that the NPO once had in TEP and TWP. 1) This wasn't our policy.
2) Because someone wouldn't stop spouting nonsense, it became necessary to point out that there would have been a strategic time and place to actually intervene if that had ever been any kind of plan. You're so obsessed with pursuing this absurd notion that there is an evil plan somewhere and if you keep shouting it from the rooftops, someone might believe it. Learn to tell the difference between waffling and strategic analysis of a situation.

Primordial is a big word to use for a couple of years. Especially for an organization that’s old enough to secure a full driver’s licence.

This is a ridiculous conversation, the NPO is simultaneously asserting that ‘it wasn’t NPO’s foreign policy to oppose the Rahls’ and ‘even if it was it wasn’t widely held’ and ‘we never acted on that policy’ and ‘we’re an entirely new organization’ and ‘not responsible for them’ and ‘that’s ancient news’ and ‘you can’t know this,’ ‘you shouldn’t know this,’ ‘how dare you know this,’ and ‘you’re wrong!!! I have access to contradicting information !!’

We’ve exhausted every excuse, every bad defence under the sun. The fact remains that at one time, TEP was closely held within NPO’s sphere of influence until the Rahls consolidated power there. The fall of the Rahls has opened up an opportunity for the NPO to restore its political and cultural influence in TEP. And the legal-political context in TEP that enabled the ‘soft coup’ of the Rahls still seems to be very much present.

I didn't vote for any of them, nor put thought into which one is a likely candidate for targeting. I have a strong aversion for coups and it is also in largely bad taste to speculate on which region should be couped for x dumb reason or state that you hope one happens for the funsies, as well as being particularly unwise when in certain political positions.
