Now from everything ive gathered, this is over him having a go at a portion of the fanbase for being fascistic and for death threats being sent to a youtube painter called Kirioth who made a joke about gay space marines (Kirioth himself is bisexual so from what i know it was not a homophobic joke). If that is accurate i honestly think GW has made a mistake on this, especially after their post a month back about being inclusive and not standing for bigotry in the fanbase. It comes across as contradictory

Doesn't surprise me, unfortunately. There is quite a bit of rot in the world of miniature wargaming, and Games Workshop is the biggest bully on the block in that scene. You don't want to lose those sweet profits generated by fascistoid fuckwads. All those noble remarks about inclusiveness and being against bigotry are probably just window dressing, given how capitalism in general is inherently amoral.

The latter, from what I know (although it's not the section of hobby twitter I've much an eye on - I don't see many authors in my timeline, mostly just pictures of toy soldiers!).

It may be that there's more to it than we know, and the writer immediately going to it with twitter might not be the most reasonable course of action to take if there's more to it - although frustration can make people do that, I suppose. Mighty 'sus', at least, and definitely not a good look on Black Library's part.

Well, one of the first rules of public relations is to not insult your own fans. Perhaps GW felt he had crossed that line. That said, it is a contradiction to that letter last week and unfortunately undermines that message....

Seriously though, as a Space Doggo and Space Skeleton player, I'm very happy I can get my hands on these models. Hopefully GW will give us rules for Primaris Wolf Guard in the future, because these Bladeguard would be very nice.

Really, really excited to get my hands on the new Escher models and book when they're finally released.

I have finished three squads of generic Space Mammoths Terminators, with one below (I do not have pictures ready for the other two yet). Since I had painted the other power weapons energised with a variety of colours, I felt the need to do the same on the Power Fists, but I also wanted to keep the white as it is a core part of the scheme, so I decided to try to do both. I am not convinced by the result, but it could be worse.

New 40k game coming out, given the developer it looks like its gona be a vermintide style game in warhammer 40k. Was hoping for something singleplayer myself instead of a four player coop game but ah well.

New Primaris Grav Tank called the Gladiator (basically the predator but floats)
New Necron Monolith model
New Sister of Battle miniature called a Palatine
Teases of new Ork, Mechanicus and Dark Eldar Miniatures (seems to be one each according to the short video)
