Did you know that Skoda used to be at the forefront of pre-WW2 tank design? (Well, with a little help from CKD as well). So much so that the germans utilized the LT. 35 during WW2, and the LT.38 that was essentially an upgraded version of the same tank, with some simplifications for the sake of making it easy to make and maintain.
Another more you know for ya

No; it's Škoda, the car makers (don't forget the S-caron!).

I went to a very strict school and during this time, band class was mandatory fo 3 years. I was supposed to play the clarinet. For 3 years the teacher said, "everyone... you have to go home and practice your individual instrument fo X minutes every week... get you parents to sign off the Practice Sheet (to confirm that you really played) and this will be part of the course grade and pass requirement."
For some reason,I hated that and I felt inclined to not comply. I was otherwise a "good student" with a nearly completely clean record. Though I occasionally cut corners, I did everything else that was required and honestly without resentment. But for some reason, I just took STRONG ISSUE with the idea that someone had the power to make me play an instrument that I didn't like for X minutes every week. For some reason in my teenage mind, that just felt DIFFERENT from being asked to do X pages of math homework, write this essay, or do these chemistry worksheets for the week. I wanted my free time.
So I decided... "You know what? I'm not going to do it... not unless I'm 100% forced to do so."
I resolved to do the dishonourable and dishonest thing, I went ahead and forged my parent's signatures unto the practice sheets for 3 years. I never told my parents about the practice sheet signature requirement (if I did, they would 100% force me to practice and I didn't want that conversation). I knew that there would be PTAs where the teacher COULD bring up the topic of practice sheets, so I told my parents that the "practice sheets" were just something that I filled by myself once in a while after I practiced by myself; I told them I did all said practice at school with my friends to avoid bringing the heavy clarinet home (it would be stored in the locker). Somehow, the dice rolled in my favour and never did my parents suspect anything either (I guess at the PTAs practice sheets were either never raised or brought up casually by the teacher without a mention of the signature requirement).
I passed the 3 years with completely undeserved average grades in that class. Though other students were suspected of having forged practice sheets and got into substantial trouble for it, I was never suspected or caught. My practice total was near zero but somehow I was in all the school concerts.
...
The net result of all of this was that I never learned how to play the clarinet... and that these actions over 3 years may have caused a degree of irreparable damage to my soul and moral fabric. And since I was a close to being a teenager when I did this, it may have impacted my development in other harmful ways.
However, at the time, I rationalised these actions.
