People who think they've only become popular because the management is religious are ignorant of the industry and of the corporate model and culture. The outrage if anything seems to have been an equal wash by and large. Kiss-ins probably didn't help much since presumably the LGBT couples were buying food. The main damage was done by college campuses booting Chick-Fil-A out.

Chick-Fil-A experienced short-term quarterly losses as a result of the boycott but then managed to pull off 14% annual growth in 2012 and open four more stores than the previous year. That's not really a massive surge given recent trends for them.

Only that his administration has admitted there were over 16,000 of the breathing machines in the federal stockpile that were ready for use in March when the virus began to spread in the United States

At the time, Trump administration officials put that figure at just 10,000.

He also said attendees at a 2017 bill signing cried like no one had ever balled. But a video suggests his guests that day were all smiles.

He again laid into former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, despite rules against using the White House for overtly political purposes. But with no federal entity showing any signs of cracking down on his new practice, expect him to continue doing so up to Election Day.

They do something weird to their chicken - rumor has it they marinate it in pickle brine, but Snopes says that's just an urban legend - but whatever it is, people either love it or hate it, with no middle ground. I'm in the "hate it" column.

I went to the grocery store last night, here in blue Vermont. The canned goods aisle has been pretty sparse in general the last few months - though it's not nearly as bad now as it was back in April, when the entire aisle had literally maybe a dozen cans total on the shelves, and even those were all weird stuff that no one wants to eat. There were holes on the shelves last night - I couldn't get the Cains mayonnaise that I usually buy - but there's no shortage of Goya beans.
