COLD WAR RP

Current RP Time: January 1st, 1952 - February 1st 1952

The Cold War was a time of destruction.
The world was constantly threatened by nuclear destruction, wars erupted. Countries were forced into capitalism or communism, with no In between.
Lead your country to greatness and rise to the top. With a world of ever advancing technology, the country you lead can become the next superpower.
Sitting under a desk with your hands on your head won’t protect you, but leading your country will.
Leading into glory after the strife of the Second World War,
Ladies and gentleman, the 3rd Cold War RP.

RULES

the allies defeated the axis and the central powers in both world wars.
No major history changes after 1900. Unless your country was colonised.
No Godmodding.
Armies must be at most 10 percent of your population. It would depend on your policies and world events.
Stay in the realm of realism.
No unjustified war. This means that you must state your wargoal as well as having a reason in your declaration of war.
Consider landscapes/geography and logistics.
You can only have one nation (unless it is a puppet nation or a colony)
If you win a war, you have the option to either annex their land, puppet their land, or annex some of their land and puppet the rest
when a group wins a war all nations of the winning side must be part of the peace treaty process
if you puppet a nation as a spoil of war the person who made the nation still is in charge of the nation, and can rebel against you (however most likely not for a long time)
All equipment and weapons can only be created the date they were created in irl time no earlier
you can control political parties in other peoples nations (with the consent of said nation)
you can only be a member of NATO if you are IRL. same goes with the warsaw pact unless you are communist
You cannot change your history/lore after it I accepted unless directed to do so by a op.

I believe he is referring to Joesph Stalin, Iosif being the Russian spelling of it.

It's possible, the country is more divided internally with the National and United Parties already starting to oppose one another, and the Prime Minister only able to placate his constituents realistically for so long. The ANC's struggle is already an ongoing issue on top of all of that. Time ICly will tell how that'll develop.

That is the Russian spelling of the name. You know, because the Soviet Union is primarily Russia, especially with Stalin in charge. However, if Jospeh Stalin makes you feel better, then there.

Don't you think maybe he made a typo? Like writing billions instead of millions for the population, that's an easy mistake. Especially considering he was spot on the USSR's population in 1950.

FYI, the population in the USSR in 1950 is roughly 180 million and the GDP is about 1.04 Billion in 2020 dollars.

Sorry yes. But 182 million is really high for the USSR in 1950. And even then, the data wasn't fully accurate because of the chaos caused by WW2.
