I’ve never posted on the forums before so I have no idea if I’m doing this properly. Forgive me for that!

I’m a founder of the Roleplay chessboard, a very lively and unique AltHist Cold War roleplay region. We love history, world building, foreign affairs and everything in between.

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that we have a new and developing Medieval-era Roleplay starting up in our region, The Roleplay Chessboard and we are looking to fill up certain spots! These are very high-activity spots that we'd like to have filled and are in high demand so I wanted to let the NS Forum know what's up!

After nearly a year of Cold War-era RP, we've decided to start new in the year 1200. So far it has been a success! We pride ourselves on a high standard of artistic and creative quality that no other RP region possesses.

We’ve been sending out a lot! Unfortunately their actual like effectiveness is pretty much next to none. I’m not really familiar at all with the forums but I’m sure there’s people on here who’d be interested. Hopefully you are too!

We are on the heels of the Fourth Crusade at the moment, and even more exciting, of the Mongol Invasions! Doesn't hurt to at least come check out the region, and if it's not your cup of tea, at least tell that one friend you know who can't shut up about Medieval warfare!

I only recently joined the region, and I have to say that the nations are extremely supportive, and the construction of the maps and world, as well as the RP posts are very developed, allowing the RP to be enjoyable, structured and interesting. Plus, it’s great fun too!

Over the past day or so, no less than four residents of The Roleplay Chessboard who had never before (or since) posted on the forums have decided to pimp TRC on this thread. This is despite there being no public, onsite notice on TRC's region page of this thread existing. How exactly did this happen?

I will also note that the following text, copied verbatim from TRC's WFE, has been (in practice) outdated since the move to a medieval roleplay was approved:

The Roleplay Chessboard is looking for new members to join us as we embark on a new roleplay set in an alternate World War II. The year is 1932 - fascism and Nazism are on the rise, the empires of old are hitting their zenith, and across the globe, there is uncertainty about the future as disorder and conflict loom. Where will you fit into our alternate history mosaic?

Our region was founded for the purpose of crafting a fun, exciting, and realistic alternate history world for players to settle themselves in and get involved in. We consist of dozens of players of various skill levels from across some of NationStates' biggest Roleplay regions and deliver an experience and quality no other region can match. Our new Roleplay will see the Interwar and Second World War eras be played out in their near entirety with the caveat that players are free to craft their own stories, leading their nations down alternate paths under alternate leaders, and even create entirely unique countries in one of the most creatively stimulating worldbuilding environments.
