Postby America but a True Democracy » Sat Jul 04, 2020 5:36 am

America But a True Democracy will be holding a general election to determine it's makeup of it's House of Representatives. A Senate election will be held later on this year (but there won't be a forum for it). A whopping 11 parties are running in this election, and a 3% threshold is needed to gain representation.
(OOC: This is an alt account of Multi Party America).

Parties that are running:

Leaders: Rossana Cambron and Joe Sims
Seats in the House of Representatives: 3/435

Socialist Party

Leaders: Jamie Keesling and Bernie Sanders
Seats in the House of Representatives: 7/435

Green Party

Seats in the House of Representatives: 3/435

Republican Party
Ideologies: Conservatism, Fiscal Conservatism, Social Conservatism, Centre-right
Leader: Ronna Mcdaniel
Seats in the House of Representatives: 192/435

Christian Democratic Party
Ideologies: Christian Democracy, Social Conservatism, Christian Right, Right-wing
Leader: Jerry Falwell Jr.
Seats in the House of Representatives: 7/435

Libertarian Party
Ideologies: Libertarianism, Right-Libertarianism, Laissez-Faire, Fiscal: Right-wing, Social: Centre-left
Leader: Nicholas Sarwark
Seats in the House of Representatives: 5/435

Constitution-American Freedom Party
Ideologies: Constitutionalism, Paleoconservatism, Factions: White Nationalism, Far-right
Leaders: Jim Clymer and William Daniel Johnson
Seats in the House of Representatives: 3/435

(note that the Socialist Party and Green Party made an electoral coalition, so they will be running under one platform).
(Also note that you don't have to post here, tough that would be appreciated, but a vote on the poll is welcomed.)
