A Night of Ecstasy (OOC/MT/OPEN)

Tervetuloa to the Freya temple of Halsholm.
Here in the capital of the principality, the Community of the Freya Devotees hosts the regular "Ball of the Beautiful Goddess". It will be danced, drunk and laughed in worship of the goddess of joy, happiness, music and fine art. Everyone can enjoy the world-famous Elvish ball culture for a small fee. In the middle of the baroque ambience of the old town of Halsholm there is a party in the courtyard of the temple.

There will be a schedule, which will look like this:
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Welcome guests with drinks and buffet.
7:00 pm - 7:15 pm: Welcome speech by Lilja Mooreenen, Chair of the Community of the Freya Devotees
from 7.15 pm - around 9.00 pm: opening of the dance package.
8:00pm - 8.15pm: Speech by Mhaire Häkkinen, Lady of Draycora, wife of the prince and honorary member of the Community of the Freya Devotees.
from 9:00 pm: transition from "salon section".


This RP plays on a ball in a temple of the Norse goddess Freya. In Draycora, Freya is one of the most important deities and the ball is therefore very popular. The salon part is typical of Elvish balls. In this part you leave the dance floor and come together in groups at tables to play cards, drink and smoke and take part in witty conversations.

1. No Godmodding or Metagaming etc.
2. This is an MT-RP, so no non-human characters. If people in your nation are named after superhuman beings, but are still human, that's okay. The people of Draycora are called Elves too, though they are humans
3. All NPCs will be controlled by me and only by me and you are not allowed to play characters from Draycora, as well as to decide things in the Draycora lore. We can clarify whether and how the lores of our nations are somehow connected in the OOC or by PM.
4. No violence against NPC or other players. Weapons are not allowed on the ball.
5. The event is open and accessible to all types of people. Draycora is a monarchy, but there is no nobility. Foreign nobles are allowed on the ball, but in Draycora they have neither a separate legal status nor immunity. The nobleman and the worker are treated equally at the ball.
6. There is no direct dress code, but the clothing should be festive. So no everyday clothing. Traditional costumes are allowed, also revealing or erotic clothing (Freya is always goddess of pleasure and eroticism), but consider keeping it within the PG-13.
7. All characters must be original. No copies from films, series or books. However, images to represent them can come from such resources. (Also anime pictures).
8. Answer the question of whether you have read the rules with "If you have read one, you have read all".
9. One Character - one filled out application.
10. Please put an RP sample in your app. No beginners.
11. The RP only takes place on the site of the temple. If a character leaves the temple, he leaves the RP. However, a character can switch between the individual locations on the site at will.
12. Only adults are allowed on the ball. The legal age in Draycora is 18 years.
13. Please try to expand your posts. Posts with only one sentence should be avoided.
14. Please read the incoming mail in the IC and try to orient yourself. All characters start at the entrance to the temple.

Sometimes she just also goes for pleasure though like this trip. She recently re-married her new found love and have come as a pleasure trip together to celebrate their new marriage.

This one sounds fun. I'll apply using two of my many merchants - we can talk about them having business relations to Draycora already or establishing them currently later.

Draycora is fairly open to free trade with other nations. It seems logical that foreign companies have relationships with Elvish companies.

Draycora has always been populated by three groups: Finns, Icelanders and Irish. In ancient times, the Finns were very culturally and scientifically advanced. With their knowledge of medicine and astronomy, they acted like magical beings on the Germanic and Celtic tribes of antiquity. Therefore, the Finnish-speaking population was referred to as Elves by them.
In the nineteenth century as part of the nation-state movement, this demonym was used as a name for all residents of the Draycora peninsula.

Its okay, you don't have to change your opening post, but please post the new dress style in here. But remember, there is no dresscode as such. It doesn't have to be overly fancy.

Draycora is very individualist, so nobody will interfere in your way of living. That makes it actually very LGBT-Friendly
