WHO IS RAHMAT? (Artist Information)
Rahmat Zahulafi-Yamaqzul is a 25 year old male born on August 16th 1994 at Zafizamarrah, in which Rahmat continues to live in. He was born to a rich couple of Ishaq Zahulafi and Arina Yamaqzul. He lived a pretty normal life. He's pretty popular around school because of his voice. One day, he entered the final of Festival of Songs (National Festival) 2017 and earned 2nd. This obviously gave Rahmat attention from the ABA, in which finally decided to pick Rahmat for WHF 52. Rahmat loves to make 3D buildings in Sketchup and play City games. Rahmat is also a very good Minecraft player, in which he would play for hours every day.

Rahmat Zahulafi-Yamaqzul earned his degree of Architecture on the University of Zafi. His thesis for his end-semester suprised his lecturer and the entire university because the title is "How Zafi Tower's Design Flaw Connected To Yodeling" In which his thesis is unheard before and turned out to be accurate. He graduated and become an architect. He's currently planning on a new skyscraper outside of Zafizamarrah.

He now lives happily with his wife with the name of Inarzah Marqiya (24) who works as a make-up artist who do make-up for marriages for totally low prices (except if you act like an a** to her.) and his two kids which are non-identical twins with the name of Haqqi and Dana, both are 1 year old. And also, he finally have his own house and his own car. He now lives in Japanese River, Zafizamarrah.

Rahmat said that he loves to eat Bubur Ayam (Rice porridge with chicken/ congee (thanks everyone for opening my eyes to the west's way of food naming) with an insane amount of liver and pepper. His favorite drink is capucchino because of his past days in university consists of him staying up late making 3d buildings. Because of his past trauma of getting his assignment destroyed on the past when he was using the Metro, even though it's his final assignment (luckily his lecturer was very nice to him and gave him additional one week to finish, he luckily finished his project), he now learned to not piss others and care for other people.

Before, Rahmat wrote 3 songs. All entered the ABACHARTS. In 2014 he released "Building A Garden" which placed on no. 32 back in 2012. "Cake" which placed on no. 11 back in 2019, and his viral "You Are Uh...." which placed on 1st last month. Rahmat Zahulafi-Yamaqzul's songs were all up-beat and fun. But, he want to try a new ship and tries a sad and tear-jerking ballad, which he didn't realized got ABA's attention and he was so happy when he was told he's going to represent North Alezia in the 52nd World Hit Festival in Monterra, Kalosia. There's also one moment of rumor where there are some news outlets wrote about the possibility about Rahmat Zahulafi-Yamaqzul representing North Alezia in Worldvision one day.

Will Rahmat brings North Alezia even more happiness by bringing the good result back home? We hope so.

WHY KALIMAT? (Song Information)
Rahmat wrote this song based on the past he lived in. When he was 17, he has a girlfriend in which that girlfriend cheated on Rahmat, which gave Rahmat depression. He can't eat as he used to, He won't go outside, and many more. He wants to ask for advice from anyone, but because he don't have the bravery to do so, he stayed silent. Until one day he fainted due to undereating. Rahmat was confronted by his parents until he finally opened up to his parents, although with a high toned loud scream. But, after screaming, he felt better. And thus finding that being honest and open to the ones you trust the most is the best way to go. And now, Rahmat used his bad memory to help others cope with similiar problems as him. He also cope with making music, and as always, playing a few games of Minecraft.

RAHMAT IN ZAFIZAMARRAH (Pre-Contest RP Part 1)
Everyone (around 10 people) in Rahmat's workshop are very excited that one of the employee is going to be live on TV bringing the country's name (Rahmat's already well known in his workshop for his singing abilities. His nickname in his workshop is "Mr. Maestro"). The workshop are very excited that they already went to the airport hours before Rahmat did. Rahmat was still at his home packing. When he's done packing, he kissed his wife and kids, asking them to pray for his luck in WHF. He rushed to the ABA headquarters to meet with the North Alezian delegation. There, he and his delegation had a small meeting talking about his performance in Monterra and doing one final rehearsal. The team went straight to the airport, only to see ten people (Rahmat's workshop mates) waving North Alezian flags and holding signs with "Good Luck, Mr. Maestro" written on it. Rahmat only waves (due to COVID-19 bringing the North Alezian regulation to not touching other people temporarily (except if the other person is a relative) and gave a little smile. They entered the airport, done everything, and the person on the airport who handled the teams check-in is actually a fan of WHF and said "You're representing North Alezia, right? have a safe flight and good luck", the team went inside the waiting area and waited and when the flight to Monterra, Kalosia is called, the team walked to the plane, waited in the plane, and finally flew to Monterra for the World Hit Festival.

RAHMAT IN MONTERRA YAY (Pre-Contest RP Part 2)
Rahmat and the rest of the delegation (consists of Rahmat, Hayaz Hamaruddin (HoD), and Isdara Fitrahtul (pianist)) flew from Zafizamarrah Intl. to Monterra three weeks before the contest. After they landed, they immediately went to their assigned hotel rooms. After entering his room, Rahmat immediately took a bath first, and finally did something productive. Which is playing Minecraft with Hayaz and Isdara (even though Hayaz is 52, that ain't stoppin' him from playing Minecraft.). He actually wants to add more players from the other delegations of other countries and maybe that Minecraft game could be a good act for diplomacy and goodwill, but he thought that others had more important things to do. Better not annoy them. After they done playing, they did stuff that are actually seriously productive. Which is a small meeting between Rahmat, Hayaz, Isdara and the ABA commitee back in Zafi through live video-call. Looks like they're talking about whether to use English only, Arabic only, or use both. They went with using both. They also talk about how Rahmat will perform on the Monterran stage. Practicing voice and song is basically impolite, because other artists are probably doing their own stuff. There's one stupid story in which Rahmat tries to kiss his kneecaps for fun. That didn't end well because his back hurts but not to the point of being hospitalized and he can still perform like usual. But his shout sure is loud. It might brought up numerous noise complaints, and the ABA must pay for him again.

PARADE OF NATIONS
When the announcer called "North Alezia", the camera points to Rahmat. He holds the North Alezian flag and he glanced to the camera and smiled and said (although maybe it's not hearable) "Attho'i, Kalosia! (Love and adore you, Kalosia!)" Rahmat makes a heart gesture with his hands and then he continues to wave his North Alezian flag

PERFORMANCE
"Standing on the center of the stage, wearing a black outfit. Behind him, Isdara sits on his seat also preparing for his piano play.

Before the music starts, Rahmat prays for a few seconds for a successful performance and hopes for bringing his country pride. After that, Rahmat takes a deep breath, and finally raises his head to camera level, looks directly to that camera and he starts singing"

The view now changes into the overhead camera. He looked at the overhead camera and spread his hands like wings, and moving them like a poem writer reading his poem. The LED on the floor now shows the outer space

Rahmat shouts in-tune that soars the audience-less stage, with him letting out his tears as he remembered his once bad memory, both screens now glow. Isdara starts to look even more serious with playing the piano.

Rahmat stands back up, and looks a little bit stressed. Isdara also shed a tear, although just a bit.

Rahmat points to the sky, with sadness and anger in his eyes becoming one.

The song ends, Isdara the pianist stands and Rahmat says "Thank You so much for everything, Syuukran Kasiira". Rahmat's eyes were still teary after his saddening climax. He's both sad and happy because on one side, he has to reopen his bad memory. But in the other side, he makes his country proud and he can finally tell his story to the world, finally freeing him from his bad memory. They both bow and they leave the stage together.


ABAVIEWFEST 1 (Viewing Party)
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and RTVK's decision to not have any audience inside the venue, ABA's inspired by Beepee to have a viewing party. This viewing only consists of 7.000 people wearing masks and gloves to protect themselves from COVID-19 and it's held in ABAZafi Outdoor Studio. After Rahmat's performance, everyone inside the studio celebrated like crazy. There isn't any moment where North Alezia celebrated that loud, except for when North Alezia's Worldvision Debut and when it's Eid. People wave North Alezian flags, people shouted like crazy.

Rikardu is a 25 year old Malta Comino Gozoan singer, dancer, and DJ. Born in Swatar Bay, Rikardu has grown up around music, Swatar Bay being one the most popular clubbing districts in the country. He often DJ's at some of the countries most popular and famous nightclubs. With several hits in MCG, MCG1 knew it was time to get some international views for this handsome and talented singer.


Background
With WHF fever sweeping through MCG and a surprise but fantastic second placing in Sinnlichsukai, MCG1 one was again ready to achieve a great result. Now MCG is virtually free of the virus, and in order to prevent unnecessary human contact and to further limit the spread of COVID-19, the MCG team flew a delegation of 8 out to Kalosia and quarantined for 14 days as per the countries laws. Their time spent in quarantine allowed much preparations for their entry.

This was going to be an unusual contest, no live audience, and a closed format but this didn't really bother Rikardu, he was used to DJing in some very small venues, even still it was hard to get his head around an empty studio, with no audience, just the odd camera and sound crew around the studio all social distancing 2m apart. It was very surreal. But this was the only way the contest could go ahead, by being cautious.
For the Parade of Nations, Rikardu walked up the ramp to the stage with two women who were also going to be with him on stage. They all waved to the cameras and smile showing off their bright white teeth.

Performance

As the postcard ended the camera cuts to one of the full stage, peering in from Rikardu's left. The song starts with a slow spotlight suspended from the ceiling spreading out like an opening flower around the stage before a solitary spotlight shines on Rikardu as he starts singing. He is dressed in black jeans and a brown bomber jacket with a plain white tshirt and black laced up casual shoes. He was ready for this moment, he took a few deep breaths, breathing in the air conditioned air, and composed, this was just like DJing back home there was nothing to be scared off, the lack of audience was definitely helping, but still, he was on camera in front of millions, something which he had never experienced before, and he wanted to do his islands proud.

Either side of him sat down on the smaller stages are two gorgeous female violinists sat, their dark brown hair down, dressed in long elegant off white dresses, their heads bowed, their violins poised ready for later on in the performance, they are basically motionless, ready to jump to life when their part came, just like an arcade machine coming to life as soon as you insert the coin. The background is a dark blue/ back only just a night sky, littered with stars.

The camera cuts to a head shot and remains on him throughout the whole first verse until he sings "This friendship we have between us" Where the camera briefly cuts to rooftop shot angled diagonally down showing the whole stage and background,pulsate faintly with blue lights. He raises his head up from the stand up mic and begins to sing. A off camera backing singer supplies the echo to his lyrics. He has a lonely expression etched across his face.


We are so close to one another
My amazing close friend
So close now, you're my brother
I just can't comprehend
This friendship we have between us
Is what makes you so great
I just feel content that you are there to protect me,
To save me and protect me



As the songs build the background slowly but surely builds up with light as the stars slowly vanish and the sky starts to fill with oranges and yellows and red as a sun beckons to rise. Rikardu is tapping his right foot away to the beat.

And so I come to rest at your side


He bows his head quickly without letting go off the mic stand before the camera cuts to a close up off him again,he looks intently into the camera, he stretches a hand out towards the camera as the verse rounds up. He has a concentrated look on his face.

I see the people disapprove
And the judgement they feel so entitled too.
But let's get drunk tonight and lets act recklessly

The camera cuts to the violinist who has come to life on the right of him and shows a close up of her playing away, a deep look of concentration on her face before cutting to the other violinist for a close up shot too. When it cuts to the violinist on his left we can see Rikardu just on the edge of the camera, stepping away from the mic, his tongue creeping out the side of his mouth slightly as he readies himself for the beat kicking in. As the beat kicks in he lets go off he mic stand, steps backwards stretches his arms out wide, closes his eyes, just like he would while he was DJing letting the music run through his blood and starts jumping and spinning around to the beat, going back to the mic stand once again to finish the chorus. He positions his head to spin like a ballerina to avoid him getting dizzy. While doing this the camera pans left to right along he edge of the stage before fading into a shot of the entire stage. The LED's go a crazy epilepsy flashing a dark blue and white to the beat of the song. White spotlights from the studio ceiling go wild , they all whirl around at different angles to each other hitting every part of the stage as they do crawling all over Rikardu and his violinists, the floor, the backdrop.

The camera centres back on him. All of a sudden the spotlights reform and droop down to form a single spotlight which shines down directly onto Rickadru bathing him a yellow/white glow
The background LED goes back to a starry bluey black sky. As he sings" Push back the tide with only my mind? " he positions his hands on his head before putting them down to his side. As the verse ends the camera circles from right to left and pans round the front of the stage. The violinists are out of sight, no lights on them.

I wonder what they would have me do?
Lift the world up on one arm?
Push back the tide with only my mind?
Because what they expect is impossible.
Every person needs their harbour,
A secure attachment of love

Grab a bottle of booze, and down it straight

The camera cuts to the violinist on the right of him again as she's suddenly lit up in white spotlight and wind machine and shows a close up of her playing away, a deep look of concentration on her face before cutting to the other violinist lit up by a spotlight on the left for a close up shot too. As the beat kicks in he lets go off he mic stand, steps backwards stretches his arms out wide, closes his eyes, starts jumping again and spinning around to the beat, going back to the mic stand once again to finish the chorus. He positions his head to spin like a ballerina to avoid him getting dizzy. He pulls the mic out of the stand with some force. The backing singer can be heard singing "Recklessly" as an echo while Rikardu spins around. The LED's go a crazy epilepsy flashing a dark blue and white to the beat of the song before he begins to sing as the beat gets rapid. He stops and positions himself and begins to sing as 2 smoke flares shoot from the edges of stage for a couple of seconds, as he sings as the camera cuts angles very quickly, each time he sings directly into the camera, left, right, up, down for the first 5 "Recklessly's" The camera spins and zooms back into he stage before counter spinning back again, all the time the spotlights are zooming round the stage frantically again. For the last line the camera steadies onto a frontal body shot of him singing into the camera, the mic is back in the mic stand, as the LED's fade back into a dark blue night sky and the lights turn off leaving a black silhouette of everyone on stage. Rikardu is bowing his head down to this right, his arms hanging down. The violinists sat motionless again in the back.

Then the lights come back on and the two violinists drop their violins down carefully and walk happily over to Rikardu. Rikardu has stunned look on his face not quite believing what he had just accomplished. All of them group hug and he speaks quietly into the microphone. "Thank you, Grazzi" Before exciting the stage. The cheers that can be heard come from the WHF party taking place in one of the largest outdoor clubs in MCG. Tens of thousands of fans can be heard. Rikardu is immediately given his phone after leaving the stage where he starts a Facebook live call to the producer running the WHF party, back home the video calls is shown on the giant screen in front of thousands of people. He is moved at the response.

To all of you watching tonight, do you remember what you were doing during the 30th World Hit Festival? Well, this woman does. In case you've forgotten, her name is Meliora Napoleti and she represented Kalosia during that contest. Meliora... what are you going to sing?


Meliora waved at the camera before promptly speaking. She was sitting on a stool next to a piano, which Domeniku Kaľari is seated at. When she introducers her, he too waves.
Hi everyone, right now I will sing a song written by our winner [sic] Domeniku Kaľari, called La Promesë.

Domeniku provides the piano accompaniment for this performance, and he begins to play the opening notes to the song.

At this point, Naomi had left backstage. The stage was covered in mist, the lights dim save for a spotlight on the performers. The LED screens, although not bright, showed sparkling lights, as if there was an audience with their phones out, shining a light for Meliora and Domeniku.

Meliora continues to sing. This song was performed originally at Festival dëla Kanžu Kalosianë 2017. Although Domeniku did not perform it at the time (he merely wrote it), the song won and became an immensely popular Kalosian hit.

Now as the song slowed down (not that it was ever fast to begin with), the camera quickly switched to close up angles for what is perhaps the most intimate part of the song.

Again the cheering of audiences could be heard from the live feeds, although they themselves were not made visible. Domeniku and Meliora look at each other, smiling.

Now briefly the faces of everyay citizens from some of the participating countries appear as they deliver a message in their respective languages. This part is pre-recorded. We see, in order: a woman from Togonistan, an old lady from Mercedini, a small boy from Titaniumland, a young woman from Izmedu, a young man from the Achaean Republic, a middle aged man from Caryton, a little girl from North Alezia, a woman from Skanden, a man from Fromulya, and finally an old woman from Kalosia.

I would be lying if I said that part wasn't a bit tearful. In fact, you could see in Meliora's facial expression that she is touched as well. Her eyes seem to glisten a bit, but she puts back the strength into the song:

Now the screens showed the live feeds again, and it seems like audiences from North Alezia to Normandy and Picardy, from Beepee to Malta Comino Gozo, have been moved as well. The atmosphere within all these locations across the multiverse must've been euphoric. The energy that these groups of peoples have is a testament to what the World Hit Festival stands for — an entertainment show designed to bring together societies and cultures from across the universe, uniting them in song and dance in the name of peace.

The audiences. Went. Wild. Cheering could be heard, very energetically, from all of these different parties, and Meliora, looking at the feeds around her, felt overwhelmed with all the positive emotion she had been able to share. Overwhelmed by this feedback, she could only bow. Her eyes were almost watery, and she waved and said "Thank you!" before leaving the stage.

Naomi comes on stage once again.

Right now, our computers are working hardly to calculate the votes and make sure that we have a valid result. So before we find out who will win the World Hit Festival, let's meet all the artists once again. They will come together in a very special performance to sing "Shine a Light", originally performed by our very own former winner Paola Amadin. This cover will be exclusively released, you will be able to stream and download the song on your favourite music platform, and proceeds will go to fund the fight against COVID-19 in affected participating countries.

So without further ado, here they are once again... the artists of the World Hit Festival 52!

The song begins with the home entrant, Eva Kartas:

Quickly, the Normand entrant Hélèn Pêcheur enters the studio as well, singing the next line:

Followed by Eliana from Britonisea, who walks in and does the next two lines:

The North Alezian singer Rahmat Zahulafi-Yamaqzul had already walked onto the stage as he sings this next part:

The singers who already are on stage just stand there, contributing to the atmosphere of togetherness, enjoying the moment. Now Besen's act, Faith, together walk onto stage, giving some more energy to the song:

The lead singer of Waisnor's Ace of Diamonds, Valery Apatsky, walks onstage as well:

Now it was Dina Labaja of Estana and Thaos' turn to sing:

By the way, none of these artists are carrying mics of their own. A few microphones have been set around the stage, capturing their voices. Now the Fromulyan Natalia Ikarahayu Candrakusumawati comes up and sings her part:

Yes, by this point the stage was starting to get a little crowded. Not all entrants were on the main stage, some felt more comfortable on the catwalk areas or on the satellite stages. There was one side of the stage that was kept relatively empty, I guess that must've been the unwritten 'front' of the stage for this performance, and most entrants were somewhat facing the direction of that area. Starting off the verse again, we have Izmedu's Ana Petric:

Before handing it over to the Achaean entrant Y-Jacie:

In case you hadn't noticed, the LED screens in the background were rather static, only showing the starry design theme of the contest, with little undistracting movements. Now Joey Simmons, the singer representing Northwest Kalactin, walks up:

Before the Estogian entrant Anton Eitan joins him:

Almost all of them are on stage now. Mercedini's singer Andersi comes next:

Finally, the Caryton Tabernacle Choir come into the studio. There is quite many of them that it becomes crowded, as a result many of them stand around the stage as they take turns singing this next part:

Now, all the singers came together and sang the next two lines:

Finally, a familiar face appears on the LED screens — it's Paola Amadin, former WHF winner and the original singer of this song! In this pre-recorded video, she can be seen holding her dog as she sings the final line of her song:

Now that the song had ended, all the artists cheered together — there didn't need to be the live feed for once. Nevertheless, on the screens all around Paola there appeared the live feeds from all the watch parties tonight, cheering once again for the artists themselves. Again, it was a rather teary moment, but quickly all the artists made their way out through one side of the stage, while from the other came in Naomi.

IH: So many to say about Domeniku's performance. First of all, it's a very cool thing to put the winning song performance in a very big "Akropolis" as they call it.
LM: Okay, Kalosia. Why do you have to make me cry a lot?
IH: Do you need tissues?
LM: Yes, thanks. I could also say the staging is also very beautiful. The music also kinda gave me more hope in this not-so-good times.
IH: This song is very beautiful. No wonder it won last edition!

IH: It's US! It's US! It's beautiful, the emphasis on Words are lovely, I like this song!
LM: It's cool that we tried slow this time. We can learn how other countries feel about our songs.
IH: But, I think this might be another mixed bag for us. The music's style was already heard too many times before, suggesting that we might need to get out of our comfort zone. The ABA have to experiment more rigorously. We might try Rock, Reggae, I dunno, but we have to try new stuff. Look at South Alezia trying to torture the world with Kay Whateffs! I like the way Rahmat emphasize "Kalimat, Kalimat, Kalimat", tho.
LM: Anyway, it's cool that Rahmat sings Kalimat like he's praying. Really cool way to show what "Kalimat" is really about, asking for help. Asking for companion. Asking for love. Like "Hear me, Hear me, I pray for love, I pray for my life, I pray for my words"

IH: Another song asking its listeners to go out and have an adventure that brings new things to your life (That is, with Corona precaution)
LM: MCG is the one that ask people to try life in a new angle, and it definitely makes it beautiful
IH: The song is beautiful. the singer is handsome, the lyrics are again, poetic.

Blaine Harrison: And I am Blain Harrison and yes, we are in Kalosia tonight for thanks to their win last edition - Domeniku Kaľari scored 34 points, capturing the hearts of many millions around the Multiverse.
Rigas Jengiz: Tonight will be a different one, isn't that right, Blain? Instead of a huge arena that we're used to for the World Hit Festival, we will be heading to a television studio in the heart of Monterra.
Blaine Harrison: Indeed, I am excited to see how different the Festival will be now that it is in a studio. A total of 24 nations are participating in this edition's final, making it the joint largest World Hit Festival Grand Final since we joined the Festival, drawing with the 39th World Hit Festival in Darkmania and the 47th World Hit Festival, of course, in Britonisea.
Rigas Jengiz: Now, some of you might've known that we have ELIANA representing us at the World Hit Festival, this was announced during the new show, A Hit For The World which saw millions of us have a sneak peek at some of the World Hit Festival songs and also listened to our song, "Tongue-Tied"
Blaine Harrison: Our new Head of Delegation, Tom Stardust, is really going for it this edition after we fell to the right-hand side last edition - no one expected that at all.
Rigas Jengiz: No, no one did. Tom Stardust is amazing though, he's taken Britonisea to two top-two placements, including a win on his first try....
Blaine Harrison: Will he keep up his top-two record? Only time will tell! Right, it's time to get started with the proceedings of the night. Let's sit back and enjoy the plethora of Opening Acts RTVK have lined for us...
Blain Harrison: Well, I really liked the orchestra rendition of "Shine A Light" which you will hear later on in the competition, I thought that very touching, actually.
Rigas Jengiz And then the reprise of last year's winner in that huge arena - that must've been a really emotional moment for lovers of the song and Kalosia. I think for them it was a glimmer of hope and happiness amid the coronavirus outbreak, winning the World Hit Festival.
Blaine Harrison: Yes, most probably. RTVK were quite particular this edition when it came to hosting so really, I am hoping for a great edition technically. They wanted to make this their best hosting to date.

Blaine Harrison: I thought that was a very powerful start to the 52nd World Hit Festival, I really enjoyed the song and hopefully this sort of standard is kept throughout the whole of the show!
Rigas Jengiz: The song was okay, in my opinion. I felt as though it started off very well, but by the end, it was like we were listening to the same thing that we listened to at the start and that gets a bit boring for three to four minutes.

Rigas Jengiz: But it doesn't slap? Like we have 24 songs tonight and I'm sure that by the time we get to song four, we would've forgotten this song. Hopefully, though, there are people out there who like this type of song and would give it a few points.
Blaine Harrison: I have to agree with you. I didn't really feel the song like others might've. I think you're more positive than me about this song though.

Blaine Harrison: You want my opinion? Well, I think that this is a good effort from Mister X - I liked the eerie feeling that the song has.
Rigas Jengiz: I think that if Mister X wanted to use the World Hit Festival as a way to show different styles of music, it'd be welcome from us here in Britonisea, I definitely enjoyed the song.

Rigas Jengiz: Yeah, it was alright. I liked the disk scratching or whatever it is during the song before the second verse, I thought that was a nice touch, to be honest.
Blaine Harrison: Will it receive points from Britonisea...I don't know, I think that there are a lot of songs tonight that will be in contention tonight and I don't know if this is one of the songs.

Rigas Jengiz: I have to agree with you there! I think that this song gives me good vibes and its actually an accurate picture of the Britonish music scene of today.
Blaine Harrison: Are you getting winner vibes out of Britonisea? I know that BVC want to get everyone to forget that they placed 12th last edition - sorry BVC.
Rigas Jengiz: Well, I am hoping that we win, it'd be great to return to Britonisea for the seventh time. I think that ELIANA is definitely a contender for the title, but you never know...so was Shards of Diamonds once upon a time.

Blaine Harrison: Good on them! I think that this song is divisive, though, so I'm sure we will see loads of three to five points and then not much else.

A great example is Besen at the WorldVision Song Contest, I think it was 81 - maybe 82, they sent a song like this and...I thought that it didn't place as highly. I know this style of music is very popular in ABEN, but is it popular transnationally, I'm not sure.
Blaine Harrison: I feel so. I think for those that hoping for a faster song...quite a lot of people...won't vote for this. Hmmm, either way, the Mercedinians should be very proud of this song so well done to them.

With the acts having cleared the stage, Naomi looked into the camera.

That was such a beautiful get together where all the artists truly poured their heart into what this festival is all about.

But now, we move into the final segment of the show: the voting. As usual, each country awards 5 points to their favourite, 4 points to their 2nd favourite, and 3, 2, and 1 points to their 3rd, 4th, and 5th favourite.

Before we start, let's confirm with the executive producer of tonight's show, Ms. Alešandrë Kasini. Hello Ms. Kasini, do we have a result?


The cameras turn to Alešandre Kasini, the executive producer of the show, who is sat with other producers/executives at a spot within the studio that allows her to see the stage, but out of reach enough that they don't appear at the background of every shot.

Hi Naomi. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Alešandrë Kasini and I am responsible for making sure that everything goes as planned at the 52nd World Hit Festival. I have been watching the votes as they come in from all the participating countries, and have checked to make sure that they are valid. I can tell you now that we have valid result, and we are ready to start the voting.

For this segment, we will have 2 parts. The first, which will happen right after this, is Phase I. We will call each country and they will announce who their 5 points will go to. After that is Phase II. In this part, we will find out the rest of the points being awarded to each country. I think it will make much more sense when you see it in action, so let's get to it.
