Yeah I don’t know... your right thought... highlighters result in permanent markings. Pencils are probably wiser (though less fun).

Yeah I guess my music is forever marked with highlights

Though I haven’t played in ages, that was decades ago. I stopped after some exam in high school. I don’t think I even have the sheets anymore.

You play?

Definitely less fun.

I sing, mainly, instruments are more secondary to that. There's a lot more control over your music in a choir.

As someone whose parents are in a choir, there definitely is a lot more control.

Anyway, finally remembered a dream: it was bizarre (i.e. the building which seemed to be a school converted into a long-term care home or other medical facility) seemed to have moved from Sutherland (which changed its name to Durelle or smth like that), to India, I seemed to be able to climb to the top and see far away, and managed to climb outside down to the ground or thereabouts. It was a labyrinth, really. And before I got there, well, we stopped by a stout stone with some faded text which seemed to be a memorial for something connected to Mexico that happened here?

God that dream was a clusterfuck.

Sad to hear Carl Reiner died. I really want to watch Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid or The Man With Two Brains again. Shame they never seem to be on TV anymore, he made really funny films.

Apparently your thesis made an impact, I do hope that does not make you too uncomfortable.

So now apparently if you ever voiced a cartoon character of color as a white dude/chick, you're a horrible person who now has to apologize for it and quit your role.

I'm all for protesting for equality and taking down racist statues and such, but this is just getting into overkill territory.

Imagine my surprise when I'm playing GeoGuessr, thinking maybe I'm in Australia based on the English and the trees and such I'm seeing, when I turn around to look at a rhombus-shaped sign...

and the sign is just a big penguin.
It doesn't even say, like, "WARNING: PENGUINS" or anything. It's just a penguin. And not a particularly threatening looking penguin either. It looks pretty relaxed.

I guess penguins are a serious enough problem around here that you can just plop a cute penguin sign down and everybody takes it seriously.

It was New Zealand though. I got it wrong.

Edit: And this sign in Chihuahua-probably is half-empty!
Literally! Half of it isn't there!
If it weren't for the signs saying "Road closed for repair" I would be very upset.

If you buy on Amazon, they're both available on the UK site for a reasonable price.

I've never seen them, but it seems Steve Martin's in them both. I've always liked his performances. Ever since I saw him as the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors as a kid.

EDIT: May Carl Reiner rest in peace.

I just plopped next to a family wandering off into the woods somewhere in *checks service station down the road* Ukraine or Russia. Fuck.

Since my church apparently recommended several resources that were linked to Quiverfull and I didn't notice it until looking at it again today, it's clear that my beliefs are much more extreme than I knew. That's obviously a bit of a problem, so I'm going to take some time to seriously reexamine what I believe again. Unlike last time, I won't completely stop posting on the forums, but I will be avoiding most of NSG for a while.

This will be fun.

TET is fine. I'm not expected to believe anything here, and it's such a nice place. :)
