Nature Photographers

The Black Hawks were in need of cute pictures for Raidercon. Drawing inspiration from a nature documentary on Netflix, the hawks set out to find adorable animals to capture (on camera of course). With the help of a French(y) animal guide, they captured stunning pictures of dragons and giant isopods, which for some reason were both sunbathing at the same beach. Satisfied with the amount of publicity these cute creatures would generate, the hawks swept through some regions, dropping copies of the adorable new Raidercon mascots everywhere! The Black Hawks were once again out with adventure on their minds, this time in search of a mysterious temple. The Hawks went out looking with the help of their map (and their stash of snacks of course) and they were able to find the rumored temple. Excitedly, the Hawks examined the engravings on the walls which spoke of something called "RaiderCon."

In their quest for the Golden Puppet, The Black Hawks found the Temple of Raiden. The Hawks readied their torches and made entry through the gate, where they encountered angry skeleton regions blocking their way! The six hawks and their friend, Frenchy, from Hydra Command smashed through the regions, it was then that they felt the room rise in temperature. They glanced over to the wall, where an intense light was dancing in the shadows. They followed the light, and it led them to a majestic firelion. The Hawks stood in awe of this beast as it roared out flame like a dragon, scorching the wall behind them. The firelion stood in their path, threatening to attack. It was then that Drex slowly approached the beast, offering his torch like a fresh steak. The lion approached as well, sniffing the fire before consuming the torch. The firelion smiled, and turned around and began walking away, leaving behind flaming footprints. The Hawks followed the tracks, until the firelion had somehow vanished.

The trail ceased at an airy room. At the end of the room was an altar, the Hawks approached the altar and found a pair of airpods. Mira courageously put them in his head, summoning the Temple Ghost. If you wish to pass to the next room, the ghost moaned, you will have to defeat me in only the most strategic of games: Tic-Tac-Toe. Then suddenly, Mira was teleported to a platform at the opposite end of the Temple Ghost. Then with the wave of a hand, a phantom tic-tac-toe board conjured itself on the walls. IT'S SHOWTIME!, the ghost declared.

The ghost and Mira played 5 games, each ending in a draw. Then the ghost suddenly began spawning in two 'X's in one turn! "That's cheating!" The hawks protested, in which the ghost replied I am ghost, I do what I want! I will now skip your turn. Hasta la vista, baby! Before the ghost could finish the game, Mira in rage threw the airpods at the ghost, passing right through them and shattering against the wall. Noooooo, the ghost declared, you destroyed my very connection to the mortal plane! I'll be baaaaack! and the ghost faded out of existence, opening the a windy door.

The Hawks passed through the door, which mysteriously slammed behind them. They kept following a narrow corridor which led them to a pedestal. Upon examining a sheet of parchment, Dax declared, "It's an update-bending scroll!" and eagerly grabbed it in her hands. Then suddenly, a rumble boomed throughout the temple. Then out of nowhere, a boulder began stomping its way. But it wasn't just a boulder, it was a rock! The Hawks began fleeing from the boulder, but it was gaining on them. Thankfully Refuge, the fastest hawk in the west, swooped in just in time to bring them out of harm's way.

The room where Refuge led them was flooded in water, and at the end of of the room was a gargoyle statue of a water buffalo. The buffalo opened its mouth, and said the following riddle:

Leaves rise form earth then fall into water
Fire from the pit makes it hotter
The steam's whistle in the air is a delicacy's caller
All together, what am I?

The Hawks stood there, puzzled then the answer came to Varax, and she triumphantly proclaimed "ATLA" and the vault swung open...leading the Hawks to their prize. The Hawks hurried in the vault, where they found a piece of parchment. "It's a map!" Frenchy declared. "It's...Fire Nation!" he declared.

Dax gave the map a look for herself, then remarked "Wait no! It's upside down." she took the map and turned it on its right side. "It's not Fire Nation...its Devide By Zero!"

The year is 3000. The Black Hawks are out on a highly important mission gathering data from other worlds and conquering others. During their travels, they've found a plethora of unique and fascinating planets, one of which stood out more than the others: a planet whose shape resembles more of an oval shape rather than a circle. The planet’s surface was caked with dry sand, making it look yellow. On one side of the planet stood an alien tree. The hawks surveyed this new world with fascination. It looked to them like a massive pineapple. The group decided that they had to take a look at this planet and descended to the sandy surface.

When their ship landed, they started their exploration, taking in their surroundings and flying over the desert finding no sign of life at all. They then decided to approach the plant at the top where they found a completely different environment. The temperature had become cooler near the tree, and plants grew freely, basking in the sunlight.

On Pineapple Planet, the days are shorter than they are on Earth, so the Hawks were able to watch the planet’s beautiful sunset while eating some of the lovely alien fruit. However, when the Hawks were about to leave, a shadow appeared, engulfing the planet in shadows…..

Meanwhile on planet Earth…..

The Hawks had another mission at hand, one just as important. They had recently received a transmission from their friends in space that a lovely little planet was under attack by aliens! They discovered that the only way to save them was to research a particular location on Earth and transmit information on it back to the Astronaut Hawks, specifically the exact coordinates of where they asked for your opinion.

So with that, our Earthling Hawks went out on their quest, taking flight and searching everywhere they could to find where they asked for your opinion. Even going as far as searching at the bottom of the ocean. But alas, it was nowhere to be found.

Worried about the state of the Pineapple Planet and their friends, they hurried back to the Nest to figure out what these hostile aliens were that were attacking the planet. After extensive research, they found out what they were. They were known as the CTE Intergalactic Army, a group that finds planets that are completely abandoned during particular points in time, and removes them from existence. After learning this, they sent a message back to the Hawks who were still taking shelter within their ship from the attack telling them what these aliens were and that making their presence known would cause them to stop the attack. They were able to send a message to the alien ships in time, causing them to cease their attack and move on.

In the interests of literary variety, I must object to future reports that include phrases such as "a shadow appeared, engulfing the planet in shadows".

A darkness washed across the face of the planet, blotting out the sunset?

A gloom crept across the last rays of day, cloaking the sojourners in dappled midnight?

A dim presence obscured the revelries, devouring the warm sunshine?

Standards must be upheld in reports, if nowhere else!

The Black Hawks has a new Trigger Hawk! To celebrate the occasion, the new trigger hawk, CPL Raiding Peoples decided to plan something fun, something never seen before in raiderkind! The spelling shotgun. After lots of set up, and beating a fair few fendas on the way, the word was spelt! And the FIRST RAID done by CPL Raiding Peoples had some to an end. July 18, 2020 - Major || Operation Fasc Sweeper 9000: The Third Coalition Invaded

It was a beautiful summer day, the sun was shining bright and The Black Hawks decided to give ice cream to the neighborhood kids. But then, a thief appeared from the shadows and stole the ice cream from some of the kids. CPL Raiding Peoples noticed the thief was heading back to their lair in The Third Coalition. Upon closer inspection, LTN Pterodaxtyl noticed something amiss about the region... fascists. Of course it would be fascists. Disturbed by this news, The Black Hawks called on their friends in Europeia, Karma and The Land of Kings and Emperors to help them enter the fascist Third Coalition before the thieves could strike again. Upon the success of the invasion the group decided to give the drab and oppressive region a much needed makeover by painting rainbows as they secured the premises.
