That slightly confusing moment when you realise Rob Holding can actually defend.

Now to blunt the Blades at the weekend and march towards Number Fourteen!

Congrats to the Reds. They've been playing so well this season, and they truly deserve it.
TBF the only other interesting thing I'm interested in is the relegation battle.

Ah yes, Gridiron, where outfield players use hands more than they use the foot to pass the ball.

Lol that particular sport has more similar characteristics to rugby. But of course the only times you use your hands in football are with throw-ins, if you're a goalie, or if you're Thierry Henry, Diego Maradona, and Luis Suarez.

Soccer = Association Football :P
But seriously, since Hand-egg is an insignificant sport and everybody else on the planet calls the game where one plays the ball with the foot most of the time "football"; let us bow down to the trillions of dollars ;)

Wolverhampton beats Aston Villa 1-0 as they move up to 5th place (though Man United still leads in goal difference if they win their next game).

Man City crushes Liverpool 4-0 and the Reds clearly didn't even care about that game after their title is clinched.

Real Madrid beat Getafe 1-0 to go four points ahead of Barcelona.

Thoughts on this combined Chelsea/Arsenal XI?

I mean... they're not two fantastic defences but one conceded six more goals (in the league) than the other so I feel like the defence is suspect.

No complaints about Leno, Tierney, and Aubameyang, they're basically the only Arsenal players worth a damn right now. You Chelsea fans can argue among yourselves about the other eight.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man City all need to work on their defensive line.

Ironically the one Chelsea defender I thought deserved to be in there... was the one that gave away the penalty.

The difference between Chelsea's defence and Arsenal's is that the latter can defend when it has to (e.g. Manchester City, Liverpool) whereas Chelsea's hasn't shown that.

Manchester City's defence is merely worse than its attack by a quite considerable margin rather than being actively poor. Second fewest goals conceded and that's with Ederson who's clearly what should be called an offensive goalie rather than a defensive one (i.e. he gets caught in poor defensive positions all the time and saves just shy of what he should save... compare Pickford or Kepa who concede substantially more goals than he should and contrast Leno or Martinez who I'd say are better keepers but definitely inferior players).

City keeps on spending a lot on defenders and falls short compared to Liverpool. If they got their hands on van Dijk, no way Liverpool would win any titles and City would already have a CL.

Also Aubameyang is very underrated as a striker and deserves more attention. Pulisic's injury is quite terrible and hamstring ones are quite a fickle to deal with.

Do you guys Brentford deserves a chance in the Prem, or is Fulham more worthy of that.

TBH I'd rather Brentford. They've been fantastic all season round and it's a shame that they lost to Barnsley on the last day. Still hyped up.

What the fuck Brentford. You had two, not just one, jobs: beat Barnsley for automatic promotion, and beat Fulham. You failed.
