A survey was taken, sampling a total of 900 patients, 100 from each of the 9 dominions, all live in different cities/communities from one another. They also vary in age, from 25 to 75. The age demographics are equally proportional across each dominion in this survey. So was class. Here are the results that were found.

Notes: Just because one region is higher in a certain dimension of the Big 5 than another, it doesn't reflect all patients in the samples. It's merely based on the average score calculated from all of the patients' scores. Central Subhurbia was moderate in all five categories, hence why it doesn't appear below. This is likely because it had the greatest variation among its patients

Openness (inventive/curious vs. consistent/cautious)
The results from the study show that openness is the most prevalent trait in the east regions (Eastern, Southeastern, and Northeastern), as well as the Southern region. Of those four, the Eastern Region had the highest average score of openness out of all dominions. On the other hand, the dominions with the lowest scores in openness are the west regions (Western, Northwestern, and Southwestern) and the Northern Region. Of those, the Western Region had the lowest average score of openness. The Southwestern Region scored higher in openness than the Western and Northwestern regions. The Northern Region is also more open than the Western and Northwestern Regions. So people in the eastern region are the most inventive, creative, and curious, while people in the western region are the most cautious and conservative. The political and cultural differences between these regions showcase this difference.


Conscientiousness (efficient/organized vs. extravagant/careless)
Conscientiousness is the most prevalent in the West regions, as well as the Northern region. Patients from the western region had the highest average score in conscientiousness out of all regions. Patients from the Southwestern region had a lower average score in conscientiousness than patients from the Western and Northwestern regions. Patients from the Northeastern region had a lower score than those from the North and Northwest. Regions with the lowest scores in conscientiousness are the East and the Southeast.

Extraversion (outgoing/energetic vs. solitary/reserved)
Extraversion is most prevalent in the Masculine Principled Regions (East, South, and Southeast). Patients from the East are the most social and outgoing, while people from the South are the most energetic and lively. This goes well with the stereotype of Easterners being boisterous, outwardly emotional, and friendly. On the other hand, regions with the lowest scores in extraversion are the Feminine Principled Regions (West, North, and Northwest). This also goes well with the stereotype of westerners being to themselves and reserved, and Northerners being very private and solitary. Of course, as in any case, not everyone in the study reflects their respective stereotypes. Furthermore, people from the Northeast had a higher average score of extraversion than those from other North regions (North and Northwest), but a lower average score than those from other East regions (East and Southeast). People from the Southwest had a higher average score than those from other West regions (West and Northwest), but a lower average score than those from other South regions (South and Southeast).

Agreeableness (friendly/compassionate vs. challenging/callous)
Samples with the highest average scores in agreeableness are the North, East, and Northeast. Patients from the North were shown to be the most compassionate, and patients from the East were shown to be the most friendly. Patients from the Northeast had a good blend of compassionate and friendly traits. Samples with the lowest average scores in agreeableness are the South, West, and Southwest. Patients from the Southern region were shown to be the most insensitive, and competitive, which reflects the stereotype of Southerners being blunt and tough-minded. Patients from the Western region were shown to be the most challenging, and unfriendly. They aren't as callous as their Southwestern neighbors, but it takes more for someone to earn their trust than most. People from the North, East, and Northeast are more likely to be concerned for the well-being of other people, and have communitarian attitudes, while people from the South, West, and Southwest are more likely to be task-oriented, and have individualistic attitudes. Southeasterners are shown to be "friendly but callous", and Northwesterners are "compassionate but challenging".

Neuroticism (sensitive/nervous vs. resilient/confident)
Samples with the highest average scores in neuroticism are the west regions (West, Northwest, and Southwest). Neuroticism was a bit more complicated. People from the west regions were shown to be the most prone to self doubt, anxiety, and depression. Of the three, Western people scored highest in neuroticism. On the other hand, people from the east regions are the least neurotic.
