1. People just go about their normal business. The shops stay open, people come and go and work... There just aren’t any cops.

2. Why would Seattle cut off the rest of the city and disrupt people’s lives? It’s not like people aren’t already traveling freely around. There just aren’t any cops.

I think the most hilarious part of this whole sad pitiful farce is the fact that the people demanding the complete end to police, had all of their food stolen by homeless people they invited in and are demanding be allowed to run free around the city. (because that worked so well in SF)

The CHAZ will probably end sooner or later just like Occupy did, but the CHAZ shows protesters have actually learned a lot from Occupy in 2011. The overall balance of forces is moving left.

I was just making a joke that these neighborhood “warlords” would probably be unrecognizable to any other kind of warlord. Gang violence might be more similar to that, and the CHAZ is a big step up from gang violence.
