Commend The North Pacific

Description: THE SECURITY COUNCIL:

BELIEVING that the largest of the world's five feeders, the North Pacific (TNP), is a shining example to the world, especially in the art of combining freedom with security;

NOTING that, after the various coups d'état it suffered in its early years – inflicted by the likes of Great Bight, Pixiedance, The Crimson Order, Shoeless Joe and Durkadurkiranistan I & II (many of which are cited by past Security Council resolutions*) – TNP have endeavored after each liberation to recover and prevent future coups in a manner consistent with its democratic heritage, such as:

• The creation of a Bill of Rights which recognises national sovereignty;
• A regional constitution, which has changed over the years but which has consistently ensured that TNP remains a free, democratic and open region;
• Upholding the rule of law and the supremacy of the legislature;
  Establishing a Security Council of trusted and influential residents (responsible to TNP and its constitution) which oversee the region's security and respond to threats as they arise;
• A contemporary endorsement trading scheme which encourages (rather than discourages) endorsement trading between WA nations; ultimately aiding in TNP's retention of newcomers and its overall regional security, in addition to the average nation in TNP amassing 16 endorsements;

REALISING that TNP's delegate endorsement counts are double that of regular contemporary counts for feeders, currently standing at over 1,250 (one catalyst of which may have been a mass campaign to endorse then-delegate [nation=short]HMS Unicorn[/nation] at the end of 2014; momentum which once saw an 85% delegate endorsement rate amongst TNP's WA nations, as well as a rise in endorsements from 490 to over 600);

NOTICING that TNP is now home to many Commended nations (or puppets thereof), including: Astarial, Flemingovia, McMasterdonia, Renaissancistic People, Eluvatar, Mousebumples, Evil Wolf, and Sanctaria;

OBSERVING that TNP is unusual in having a voluntary, official regional religion: Flemingovianism, which requires its observants to worship the nation of Flemingovia as a god;

PRAISING TNP's efforts to keep its resident nations up to date with regional events, through the many dispatches (including regional census results and WA vote recommendations) put out by The Northern Light, and formerly by the North Pacific Wire; and

REMEMBERING how the North Pacific Army (NPA) have helped their Feeder and Sinker allies in times of crisis:

• April 2015: During the occupation of Lazarus by the New Lazarene Order (backed by the Pacific), the NPA provided material and tactical support for the Lazarene Underground State;
• Summer 2013: TNP opposed the rogue delegacy of the Dourian Embassy in Osiris, and the subsequent Gatesville occupation; and
• April 2013: The NPA supplied key military aid to its allies, the Coalition of the South Pacific, in its fight against the South Pacific People's Republic (SPPR). Thus, the Security Council:

Commend The Rejected Realms

Description: CONGRATULATING The Rejected Realms on achieving a stable and safe democracy without being able to issue bans and ejections, and for accepting nations with open arms.

RECOGNISING The Rejected Realms on having the oldest army of any region, the RRA (Rejected Realms Army). This army is a defender army and strives for interregional peace and prosperity.

ACKNOWLEDGING that The Rejected Realms is a diplomatic ally with many regions who works towards international peace. Without The Rejected Realms's efforts, progress towards international peace would have slowed down significantly.

THANKING The Rejected Realms for their assistance and leadership of several missions to liberate regions in distress including but not limited to:
- Japan, a small region with high influence.
- The South Pacific, one of the largest feeder regions.
- Hogwarts, another small region with high influence.
- Lazarus, a fellow defender region with extremely high influence.

APPLAUDING The Rejected Realms's successful defence of 10000 Islands in 2003. Despite 10000 Islands not being a defender region at the time, it's successful defence would eventually lead to it becoming one of the largest and most influential Defender regions in the world.

MOVED by The Rejected Realms's outstanding cultural diversity, with no limits to its endless array of different nations. This cultural diversity allows nations unfamiliar or new to the The Rejected Realms to participate in a vast plethora of activities, discussions, and the inclusion that many regions lack.

ESTABLISHING The Rejected Realms as a unique region due to its periodic regional newspaper (The Rejected Times), which documents and records events across Nationstates for everyone to read.

DISTINGUISHING The Rejected Realms for being a founder member of the ADN, and later being an influential member of the FRA. Their contributions kept the FRA running for many years after, with many of the Arch Chancellors of the FRA coming from The Rejected Realms.

APPALLED that The Rejected Realms has been underappreciated for so long, and has failed thus far to be noticed by the esteemed members of the World Assembly for its outstanding performance and resolve.

KNOWING that with the passage of this resolution that The Rejected Realms can only continue to strive for international peace and success.

Concerned by the actions of The Order of the Grey Wardens, also known as The Grey Wardens and TGW, a supposedly defender group, that has undertaken seemingly hypocritical actions in recent history, part of a pattern dating back to the occupation of Madrigal, including the following,

• The attempted invasion of Femdom Empire, and the attempted displacement of its natives.
• The invasion of Super Reich I.
• The numerous unprovoked actions against Kaiserreich, in particular, the puppeteering of Kurnugia.
• The invasion of Warzone Europe, starting a wholly unwarranted conflict with its protector, Equilism.

Furthermore concerned that The Grey Wardens frequently poach nations from the raider and invader regions they publicly decry.

Shocked that when these actions were pointed out, The Grey Wardens denied such claims, calling them “fake news.”

Noting that as a member of CAIN, The Grey Wardens have abused the organization as a tool to take absurd positions, for the sole purpose of mislabeling their enemies as members of an extreme ideology under the guise of interregional cooperation to gain more raiding targets.

Observing the possibility of other such, and even more depraved and hypocritical actions.

Condemn Wrektopia

Description: The Security Council,

Noting that Wrektopia is absolutely replete with garbage, and that this irresponsible hoarding of refuse (which has covered each and every square foot of available land within the country) has caused severe and irreversible damage to the nation's natural ecosystem and economy, if not utterly destroyed them altogether.

Acknowledging the Wrektopian nation as being ruled by a self-proclaimed "Trash King.”

Bemoaning the smug, confrontational demeanor of the Wrektopian leader, Curly Eayler, towards this problem, and denouncing his disdain for the well-being of the Wrektopian people, for the health of the nation's environment, and for the repeated requests of neighboring governments to refrain from hoarding detritus.

Observing that the Wrektopian litter crisis has negatively impacted dozens of surrounding nations within Wrektopia's native region of Osiris, including but not limited to Adytus, Jamil Federations, Syberis, Yunoa, North Aurelia, and Weast Jurmany.

Further Noting that the Wrektopian condition was determined to be directly responsible for the extinction of at least 247 unique species of terrestrial and aquatic wildlife and flora, including the orange-crested gannet (formerly the national bird of Adytus), the brown-speckled North Kervoskian hamster, the beautiful, big-eyed Altinian raptor, the great Pelicanese walrus seal, the Johnny Cash-faced impala of Weast Jurmany, and, most notably, the birdlike hyena dogfish rabbit, and that Wrektopia's rubbish-related endeavors have brought more than 500 other species close to extinction.

Recognizing that the Wrektopian government's reaction to an international conference attempting to address this situation, as well as to sanctions levied against it, is simply to send crassly-worded telegrams and taped recordings of indiscernible screeching to the conference member governments, and to continue to senselessly produce, ascertain, and stockpile waste.

Further Recognizing that within the last month large rafts of festering offal mixed with sewage have begun to float against the current with an almost animal-like sense of direction out of Wrektopian bays and into the shorelines of its neighbors, and

Believing this to be a new stage in the development of the Wrektopian menace that could pose a more long-distance threat to its neighbors and even to the world.

Determining the trash-filled condition of Wrektopia to be a deplorable affront to the environment and a blatant and deliberate disrespect of its neighbors, and

Fearing the outcome of this situation if it is not firmly addressed on an international scale.

Hereby Condemns Wrektopia.

Aware of the political controversy surrounding Christian Democrats, one of the most prominent right-leaning nations across this world, and respecting the right to disagree with their politics,

Believing, however, that nations across the political spectrum who have made laudable achievements ought to be recognized, a goal of this Council since its foundation,

Categorically Stating that Christian Democrats is a member of this select group of nations, having improved the world across multiple facets of life,

Marveling at the vast list of resolutions the Christian Democratic World Assembly Mission has authored, among which include the following resolutions which have retained widespread support:

• GA#160: Forced Marriages Ban Act
• SC#082: Repeal "Liberate Catholic"
• GA#200: Foreign Marriage Recognition
• GA#213: Privacy Protection Act
• GA#253: Repeal "Freedom in Medical Research"
• GA#285: Assisted Suicide Act
• GA#310: Disabled Voters Act
• GA#373: Repeal "Convention on Execution"

Also recognizing that Christian Democrats has brought to light four issues for the nations of the world to consider, all of which the government's of the world are now able to take action upon:

• Foetal Furore, which allows nations to handle the precarious balance between the legal right to abortion and the practice of free speech in protest thereof,
• Bicameral Backlash, which deals with the various benefits, drawbacks, and, apparently, impassioned arguing, associated with the existence of an Upper House in national legislative bodies,
• Electile Dysfunction, an issue which allows nations to choose the system of voting best suited to their needs,
• Clerical Errors, which deals with the question of sex in the ordination of religious ministers,

Thankful for their former service in compiling and maintaining a list of all known issues that have been brought before these NationStates, a task now in the hands of Drasnia,

Applauding Christian Democrats' service as Speaker of the Assembly in the now defunct Founderless Regions Alliance, which served as a premier force to protect the most vulnerable among us, communities whose founder has fallen victim to Violet's wrath,

Praising their long and dedicated service as World Assembly Delegate of Catholic, a region which had previously fallen victim to the raider menace, now a thriving community protected by their careful stewardship,

Lauding the steady hand with which Christian Democrats leads Right to Life, a representative democracy consistently listed within the top 100 most populated regions of the world by the gnomes at the World Assembly,

Marveling at their numerous contributions to life in the Rejected Realms as Ministers of Internal Affairs, Culture, WA Affairs, and media, among other roles, and their involvement in Westphalia as Crown Prince and Regent,

Believing earnestly that, if not for the innumerable lists and arguments made by Christian Democrats, in the halls of global interaction, the ambassadors of the World Assembly would have insufferably boring jobs,

Observing the duty of this esteemed Assembly to recognize the achievements of nations and regions that have made outstanding contributions to the international community and made exceptional achievements,

Noting that Gay has campaigned for and protected LGBTQ+ rights for over 14 years,

Admiring Gay's status as a Defender Region, a position that they have held since their inception, and their constant quest to help fight off raiders from fellow regions, which can be seen from their membership in the Founderless Regions Alliance (FRA)- an alliance that had served to protect founderless regions from the tyranny of raider organizations for over 10 years,

Recognizing that Gay has managed to maintain a significant number of member nations since 2007, estimated at holding between 90-300 member nations, an amazing achievement for any region to hold, much less a region that has extremely bold and progressive ideology like Gay,

Applauding Gay for being the first region to have championed for and supported LGBTQ+ rights, and also for being the first region to have a regional constitution that supported the rights and freedoms of the LGBTQ+ community, and nations which are Pro-LGBTQ+,

Humbled by the fact that Gay drafted and pushed through the first resolution in international law regarding LGBTQ+ Rights, titled 'Gay Rights', a resolution that was among the first resolutions ever authored, and is, in fact, a historical resolution- written and passed before the creation of the current World Assembly,

Impressed by Gay's unwavering commitment to its member states and population in spite of resistance from other nations and regions that do not condone the safety and rights of LGBTQ+ nations,

Further Impressed by Gay's resilience to raider organizations, who have never succeeded in annexing it, in spite of Gay being a major target for raider groups and its position as a defender region and FRA member,

Aware that Gay also provides a welcoming environment for non-LGBTQ+ nations, and does not discriminate against any orientation, race, and background, a fact that further re-affirms Gay's welcome and cheerful environment that seeks to improve world peace and welfare,

Furthermore Aware that Gay's tireless and selfless quest to champion for the rights of a minority group and be an active defender region at the same time- whilst fighting off hostility and opposition from multiple sides- constitutes achievement and contribution that is not expected of a normal region, and therefore provides merit for Gay to be granted the honor of a Commendation,

Hereby Commends Gay for outstanding performance and resilience in the name of human rights and international peace.

The Security Council,

APPRECIATING the noble intentions of SC#52 to condemn the actions of the Black Hawks;

NOTING that SC#52 stated that the Black Hawks attempted to conspire against the Security Council by attempting “to commend their own nation by drafting the text”, an action which does not particularly meet standards for Security Council attention;

FURTHER NOTING that while SC#52 stated that “a vote in favor of this resolution will make World Assembly delegates and their regions targets of The Black Hawks, as has been reported following previous proposal attempts.” while the contrary was actually true, with a majority of World Assembly votes cast from regions that haven't had their original founder nation levelled and destroyed, feeder and sinker regions, raider allies, or regions already under raider control, thus making them invulnerable to raids;

REMEMBERING that Individual World Assembly voters can vote however they choose on an issue and are not required to vote in line with their regions delegate, thus making a raid useless in threatening the members of this body;

OBSERVING that SC#52 used extremely vague language such as stating that targeting can cause a ‘cooling effect on free speech' and a 'cooling effect on democracy', and that such phrases can be interpreted in many different ways thus making them meaningless in the context of the original proposal;

RECOGNIZING that a properly sufficient condemnation has already been ratified by this body, SC#217 detailed the many crimes of the Black Hawks, including toppling at least 5 of the top WA Delegate records, the brutal occupation of at least 14 regions, the infiltration of Osiris, and many other heinous acts;

RECALLING that SC#52 made no mention of the Black Hawks’ many indecent acts against the regions of the World;

COGNIZANT that raiders view condemnation resolutions as badges of honor or awards by the Security Council;

Hereby repeals Security Council Resolution #52.

Appreciating the steps it has taken to bring nations together, through the creation of a constitution, a map, its own government, and many other efforts made to strengthen their community,

Remembering when Westphalia was once a massive region, with over six hundred members,

Acknowledging that Westphalia is currently in a state of rebirth after losing its Founder, and was, until recently, re-electing its own government and forming countless regional alliances,

Reminding the international community that Westphalia is easily one of the largest openly Defender-oriented regions,

Recognizing that Westphalia has recently been invaded by a massive coalition of eight infamous invader regions,

Saddened that such action would be initiated by these raider groups during a time of Renaissance for the region of Westphalia,

Observing that the amount of Raiders easily outnumbers Westphalia’s long-time protectorate, SWORD, which was formerly known as FORGE,

Worrying that the raid destabilizes the region so soon after a recent upheaval, which including the loss of its Founder,

Understanding that Westphalia has been targeted entirely for symbolic purposes, to serve as a rallying cry for further Raids, and finding this resolution necessary to send a message against such provocative and disruptive action by the raiding community upon peaceful regions,

Believing that if this resolution were to pass, that it would give more time for defenders to muster a force to liberate the region,

Further Recognizing, that The Black Hawks have been condemned for their raids many times, such as in Security Council Resolution # 52 and Security Council Resolution # 217;

Observing, that the World Assembly has withdrawn condemnation of The Black Hawks as the region sees condemnations as rewards;

Further Observing, that a large number of regions have become victim to The Black Hawks since the withdrawing of the region's condemnation;

Concerned, that the raiding of regions has become a constant problem of the World Assembly;

Noting, that The Black Hawks have many puppet regions, such as Violet Irises, that have also been used to attack unsuspecting, vulnerable regions;

Addressing, the need for the World Assembly to take a hard stance against raiding by placing more condemnations upon the region;

Noting, that the The Black Hawks and their repeated, flagrant offenses against regions is impeding on the mission of the World Assembly to promote interregional peace and goodwill. This body must take a vigorous, conclusive, and full censure of this organization;

Noting that the Union of Confederate Regions is several years old and at the time of the composition of this resolution has over 400 nations, however;

Averse to the way in which the Union of Confederate Regions has used its resources; as a tool to raid helpless regions at various points across its history.

Dissentient to the Union of Confederate Region's state ideology of 'Conventism', which advocates the destruction of democracy within NationStates and the removal of opponents to state policy.

Concerned that in recent times, state-sponsored efforts to spread the ideology of 'Conventism' have been launched in regions abroad, expanding the destructive influence of this region.

Abhorred by the exceptional arrogance displayed by the Union, attempting to assert that they are the only region of worth on NationStates.

Angered that for over two years, the Union of Confederate Regions stood as one of the closest allies and benefactors of the fascist region KAISERREICH, previously liberated by SC#245 Liberate Kaiserreich for their advocation of fascism and use of Nazi propaganda.

Believing that it is the right of nations and regions to ensure they avoid the Union of Confederate Regions and its harmful antics.

Fervent in the belief that this region is well-deserving of a Condemnation.

OBSERVING the Liberation of Kaiserreich as having no significant origin or catalyst other than being a target of several Liberations in succession for supposed Nazi regions;

APPALLED by the generalization of Kaiserreich as a Nazi region while disrespecting the vast majority that condemns Nazism;

UNDERSTANDING the difficulty in policing individual nations' political beliefs while remaining a region that observes the freedom of expression;

NOTING the lack of endorsement and repeated condemnation of Nazism by the government of Kaiserreich and its members of authority;

RECOGNIZING Kaiserreich as protecting the freedom of speech, expression, and religion, and never institutionally discriminating against any citizen of Kaiserreich for these reasons;

Assured in this assertion by the publication of TNMU Charter, stating that the region seeks to uphold "direct democracy", "equality", and "free thaught";

Alarmed, however, that direct contradictions arise in relation to this charter and the actual behaviour of DER, and consequently TNMU;

Aware that the World Assembly delegate of most democratic regions wields executive powers, and that the delegate of TNMU, by the authority of DER, does not;

Disappointed to note that, as Founder of TNMU, DER retains the right to relieve elected government officials if it sees fit without the support of any other TNMU nation/s, be those nation/s governmental or otherwise;

Horrified to learn that several supposedly elected nations that serve as TNMU's government are secretive possessions of DER;

Disgusted that the autocratic DER has, in effect, falsely promoted TNMU's government as democratic, and has lied and continues to lie to TNMU's nations and the international community;

Concerned that the efforts of DER will, if unchecked, portray the practise of democracy in a damning light;

Fearing the rise of authoritarian regimes that masquerade as democracies, inspired by the actions of DER;

Predicting that said regimes would counteract the intentions of the Security Council and destabilise the world;

Convinced that the emergence of such regimes is entirely possible, considering TNMU operates as an international influence, holding 117 embassies;

Resolved therefore that preventive measures must be taken to ensure regional and worldwide stability in this matter, and that DER should be the first to answer for its abuses of power;

COGNIZANT that Aspies is a vassal state of Zealasia, which - under the banner of Christadelphia - has forced at least two dozen regions into their vast and inactive empire (including those regions that could have otherwise been prized for their names, like The Holy Quran, Hindu, and The outremer);

BELIEVING that The conservative christians (TCC), although its name is nowhere near as globally recognised, deserves to be protected against these invasive forces (for reasons that will be outlined below), which cannot realistically be achieved without Liberation;

NOTING that, on the 14th of November 2017, Aspies proclaimed their intention to refound TCC, not officially as a military mission but "so that it has an active founder able to evict raiders" (and other, somewhat more unsavoury elements). It is worth remembering that Zealasia refounded Christadelphia under false pretences that February, claiming that "Normal services will be re-established as soon as possible" before going on to keep the region as their main military headquarters;

ALSO AWARE that, by the 22nd of January 2018, Aspies started to put their plan into effect, which was meant to take two weeks to evacuate the entire population to refound the region but which has not yet been completed due to the bold refusal of St Theordos (the last native standing in TCC) and Princi - which were falsely accused of being raider nations conspiring with the Black Hawks - to co-operate with them;

RECOGNISING the support of St Theordos, see above, to a Liberation of their homeland;

ABHORRED by the state that TCC is in today, with only one native and two invaders remaining, a proud declaration on the now-defaced World Factbook Entry that it "has been seized in the name of Zealasia, and is awaiting destruction," and the regular gagging of native forces (as well as the deletion of the invaders' own messages), which stands contrary to TCC's long-standing value of free speech - a state that the region would have more than likely never been in without intervention by Zealasia and their acolytes; and

Noting that L. D. was highly influential during the debate surrounding SC#245 Liberate KAISERREICH, a resolution which has, for the most part, been deemed highly controversial.

Further noting that L. D. has itself led a similar crusade in SC#263 Liberate Confederation of Corrupt Dictators (with the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators herein "Confederation").

Disappointed that L. D. has described both SC#245 and SC#263 as condemnations in all but name. Wondering why L. D. did not propose condemnation resolutions initially; thus, unconvinced by L. D.'s sincerity with these resolutions.

Worried that L. D. may be prioritising a hidden agenda; that is, using the World Assembly as an avenue for raiding organisations. Confirming that L. D. itself is a raider nation, and has expressed its keen interest in raiding. Further confirming that L. D. has alluded to conducting military action against KAISERREICH and the Confederation, assisted by their effective liberations.

Challenging this idea practised by L. D. that the World Assembly can be used to initiate hostilities.

Upset that inevitable repeal resolutions against SC#245 and SC#263 will delay the Security Council's productivity, as will liberation resolutions similar in nature to SC#245 and SC#263.

Believing the actions of L. D. have damaged the reputation of the Security Council and have caused many member nations of the World Assembly to lose faith in this august body.

Believes that the nation of The Church of Satan, or CoS, deserves such a prestigious award for their many contributions to their home region of The Rejected Realms (TRR) and the entire world.

Recalls CoS's humble beginnings in The Rejected Realms after their banishment from their original home of 10000 Islands in 2013. Since then, CoS has become an icon and role model for many Rejects to look up to. They have served in multiple positions, including Officer (for a record-breaking 9 terms,) Speaker, Vice-Delegate, and Delegate.

Applauds CoS’s extreme dedication to The Rejected Times, the regional newspaper of The Rejected Realms. On multiple occasions, they revived The Rejected Times, and single handedly wrote most of the paper more than once.

Highlights the immense effort CoS put into the numerous jobs and occupations they held across three governments of Lazarus. Under the People's Republic of Lazarus, CoS was the Chief of Police, Judicial District Governor, and Cultural District Governor. Under the (Humane) Republic of Lazarus, CoS was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and their Grandee Secretary (Vice-Delegate) for a while. Lastly, under the Celestial Union of Lazarus, CoS held the position of Holy Prelate (Head of the Judiciary).

Also Highlights CoS's career in Renegade Islands Alliance. They held many positions there, including Senator of the House of Sauropods, Rex of the House of Sauropods, Princeratops of the House of Sauropods, Member of the Commerce Committee, Mentor, Internal Affairs Officer, and Foreign Affairs Officer.

Celebrates the work CoS has put into other regions such as Spiritus, Wintreath, and Equinox. During their time in Wintreath, CoS held the positions of Skrifa and Thane of Foreign Affairs. As Thane of Foreign Affairs, CoS accomplished a number of things, such as the creation of numerous puzzles to stimulate Wintreath's embassies culturally and socially. In Spiritus, CoS served as Minister of Information, where they kept regional records and made sure nothing was lost to the sands of time. In Equinox, they were Secretary of Lifestyle, where they held a variety of fun cultural activities.

Disappointed that I.A. outwardly uses its reputation and power amongst the international community to further its own interests;

Noting that, for example, I.A., along with a collective of other WA Delegates, consciously instigates and perpetuates the lemming effect during WA votes; that is, dishonourably dumping a large number of votes at the onset of the ballot, creating a majority for member nations to align with;

Appalled that I.A. would seek to undermine both the democratic process and fellow authors in such a deceptive fashion;

Convinced I.A. adopts an air of superiority when dealing with nations it does not consider to be worth its time;

Frustrated that some of I.A.’s more recent General Assembly resolutions are, put simply, seemingly incomprehensible to the vast majority of member nations;

BELIEVING that The North Pacific (TNP) serves as a shining example to the world in the art of combining freedom with security, especially after recovering in the past from coups d'état executed by the likes of Great Bight, Pixiedance/Gracius Maximus/The Minister, The Crimson Order, Shoeless Joe and Durkadurkiranistan I & II (many of which are cited by past Security Council resolutions; see SC#33, 34, 49, 63, 129, 168, 169, and 269, for instance);

RECOGNISING Blackshear to be the drafter of TNP's inaugural Constitution, one of the first of its kind in the multiverse, passed not long before UPS Rail (followed by Great Bight) tried and failed to align TNP with The Pacific over much of July 2004, halted only by a combination of ejecting their own allies along with high-ranking members of the old government, and Ballotonia/Better Times' exploitation of international etiquette guidelines;

CONVINCED that, in spite of near-constant political turbulence both internally and externally - including its suspension by a stacked Pixiedance cabinet the following year - the Blackshear Constitution, ratified after the fall of Great Bight by Thel DRan, and its successors has helped guarantee that TNP remains a free and open region that respects national sovereignty, the rule of law, and the superiority of the legislative branch over its executive;

ADAMANT that TNP's in-house Security Council - a close-knit group of trusted and influential residents, responsible to TNP and its constitution, which oversee the region's security and respond to threats as they arise - has also been an influence in guarding the region from significant danger in the last decade, to the extent that it has now been replicated in many different forms with great effect, from the Council on Regional Security in The South Pacific to the Viziers of The East Pacific;

ADMIRING TNP's revolutionary and highly motivating endorsement trading scheme, which has not only aided in TNP's retention of newcomers and - through increasing the number of endorsements on its WA Delegate, the highest of any region, and its Security Council - overall regional security, but has also been a role model for many other such schemes within many feeders and in the multiverse at large, thereby reducing the risk for many regions of their ilk being fatally couped;

RECALLING that the North Pacific Army (NPA; once one of the great defender forces of the world, especially through its membership in the Allied Liberation League and Alliance Defence Networks, two of the most formidable such groups) was reconstituted in 2012 at a time when military operations amongst feeders and sinkers were rare; its new, more independent alignment has paid dividends over the following years;

CONSIDERING how the modern NPA has both defended its allies in some of their darkest hours - The South Pacific from its Socialist Republic/Milograd in 2013, Osiris from Gatesville later in 2013, Lazarus from The Pacific in 2015, as well as more vulnerable allies such as Stargate and (whilst a protectorate of Equilism) Warzone Europe on countless occasions - and contributed to invasions upon regions that previously posed major threats to the multiverse as a whole, such as NAZI EUROPE in 2014;

ALSO CELEBRATING other matters of style in which TNP has taken the lead, such as in its satirical religion of Flemingovianism, which requires its observants to worship the nation of Flemingovia (Commended through SC#182) as a god and - at least in part - arguably epitomises the sense of fun and enjoyment that is so often to be had in TNP;

FURTHER NOTING that - through The Northern Lights, The North Star, and the Northern Broadcast Service today, and the legendary North Pacific Wire previously - TNP has consistently endeavoured to keep its residents up to date with many items of news pertaining to their region and the multiverse, in formats that have (directly or indirectly) moulded the state of countless other such services today; and
