The 10th season of the STAS League has thrown a curtain. And among the talks was that Emmacastle failed to produce it for the second time in a row. Emmacastle won the STAS league for the last time in the eighth season, in which they have previously won two time - the seventh and eighth.
Ninth edition, Daywarmer Dingo made a surprise appearance by winning it for the first time, and it was the first title for their manager Peter Pallmont after taking over after Rex Webb was fired.

The tenth edition of the Crestfallen Caliph captured their first title, despite having won the President's Cup three times, in the 5th, 8th and 9th editions, they have never won a league title. This is the most valuable gift to their beloved manager, Luther Moostern. Towards the 11th edition, Ajaxland appears to be ready with a mix of players under the age of 30. Manager James Grolyer has set a pretty solid lineup with young killer Doug van Linter in partnership with regular killer Peter Dowler. National player Peter Dowler was purchased from Joydean High School for $ T81,000.

Meanwhile, the server, Al Triplebay was purchased from the Smithsonian School of Sport for $T92,000 with the young server, Lee Hornbills, 23. Hornbills was purchased from the South Winbridge Sport Institute after the 10th edition at an undisclosed price. Ajaxland leadoff setter Joe Flatmann, 30, is a former STAS best setter in season 4 and a STAS best junior player in season 4. The best Castlegroom Crusher last season, the STAS league runner-up and the tenth-edition Presidential Cup winner. Manager Rick Capeshaws is not a strange name, the former Bremmychurch Bison manager who was sacked in the third season was later selected by Wingard Academy before being selected to replace Jack van Linter at Crusher.

Killer Ron Chillo, 24, joined Crusher at the end of the ninth season from Bremmychurch College of Maritime. Owen Wintermister, 23, joined Crusher from Wingard Academy after the tenth season. Their best killers lie to Renaldo Galayda, 22 and Ian Timberfallen, 24. Galayda was purchased from Rowanwood High School, and he was the best killer of the youth tournament, while Timberfallen rose to prominence while representing Foxparkos College before being snatched by Caliph for $ T31, 000. Timberfallen was confirmed as the best killer of STAS League in the tenth season.

Caliph servers were assigned to Abdulla Ibni, 28, and Dean Logemann, 25. Abdulla Ibni was purchased from Foxparkos College after the fifth season while Dean Logemann joined Caliph from STAS Academy. The story of national setter Rex Hammerschmidt, 25, is incomplete without telling him that he is the younger brother of Rustbelly Creek Condor's famous Setter Miles Hammerschmidt. Rex Hammerschmidt joined Caliph, from the Tech. Institute of Clovercrest in the ninth season and was named the best setter of the season. He is also the best setter next season. Another talented Caliph setter is Noah Pieterbern, 22, purchased from Rowanwood High School for $ T45,000.

Manager Peter Pallmont brought a surprise to Daywarmer Dingo supporter when they won their first STAS League title in the season nine. The former Bremmychurch Bison killer has also been named the best manager in the league for the sixth and ninth seasons. Next season, Dingo will be solidified by players like National Killer Jon Cech, 29, who just won the best killer award in the league's ninth season. Cech was assisted by Ian Volderson, 25, who's purchased from Wingard Academy for $T12,000.

On the other hand, for the server position, Dingo was reinforced by Tim Umbra, 25, and Jan Koch, 22. Umbra was purchased from Rexworth Razor for a terribly high priced $T81,000. Before that Razor got Umbra from Joydean High School for only $T5,000! Jan Koch was taken from Tech. Institute of Clovercrest for $T38,300.

Pat Royalwick, 30, and Liam Threeships, 24, are the backbone of Dingo in Setter. Royalwick veterans were purchased from Tech. Institute of Clovercrest for $T10,000 and was named Best Setter in the sixth season. While the Threeships have been selected as National Team reserve players, which have been named the best teenager in the ninth season, and previously be bought by Dingo from Groveaire Univ. for $T20,000

Team Name: Emmacastle Eagle
Manager: Ben Flagmaker

No one can deny, Emmacastle Eagle is a major force in the sport of sepak takraw at Springmont. Won the league six times and won the President's Cup twice. Failure to maintain their title in the ninth season resulted in Eagle manager Austin Goldfingers being sacked and replaced by Ben Flagmaker. Flagmaker was previously manager of the Emmacastle Young Boys, an Eagle youth team.

Towards the eleventh edition, the Eagle is strengthening its players, among whom they plan to bring in Linderham Lance killer Jon Fairstorms for $T130k. Although there is still no progress with the move, most sports media predict Eagle will be able to sign the player before the league starts. If that happens, one of their killers will be sold to another club.

For now, the Eagle is happy to have Rigoberto Erps, 27, and Neville Agnev, 28, in the killer position. Erps were purchased from Rustbelly Creek Condor for $T92,000. Meanwhile, Agnev was seized from Condor for $T120k. Eagle is well known for their ability to spend big money as rumors say they are owned by a well-known corporate figure.

Veteran server Mick Linterham, 30, assisted by Rey Ellington, 24. Rey Ellington was purchased from Foxparkos College before the ninth season. Eddie Gomez, 25, and Rolf Minter, 19, were driving in the setter position. Eddie Gomez bought from Daywarmer Dingo for $ T27,900. Rolf Minter, on the other hand, was seen as a rising star when he was awarded the league's best teenager recently.

Down to 12th place last season, compared to third place in the ninth season led to Lutonbass Leaders manager Ed Richerman being fired. Leo Craineship is present to lead the problematic club, Linderham Lance. It replaces former manager Elden Duracher. Leo is a former manager at Bremmychurch Bison and Wingard Academy. Hope his experience helps the club to their true potential.

Lance this season puts their trust to Benjamin Forkland, 23, and Jon Fairstorms, 24 as killer. The news says Fairstorms will be leaving Lance and moving to Emmacastle Eagle with a relatively high transfer fee. Kinderworth Duke, 29 and Braun de Callas, 22, will be on the server side. Duke previously played with the Emmacastle Young Boys. Meanwhile, national U-22, de Callas was purchased from Joydean High School for $T51,000.

Jarvis Ang, 31, and Dix Agastina, 24, will be driving the setter. This season is expected to be the last season of veteran setter, Jarvis Ang.

Team Name: Pennyclove Powerful
Manager: Tyrell Coopersmith

The presence of Tyrell Coopersmith as manager of Pennyclove Powerful does not seem to have the positive effect that it was intended. Last season they went down the stairs and were even more upset about their fans. As the runner-up, last year's Presidential Cup was among the good news brought by Rexworth Razor veteran manager Ben Chi Youn, as well as taking them fourth to seventh place in the ninth season. This season they have Ron Goldfingers, 23 and Omar de Katrack, 23 in the killer position. Goldfingers was brought from the Emmacastle Young Boys for $T12,000 and is the son of former Emmacastle Eagle manager Austin Goldfingers. This season Condor has put hope in Igor Johann, 29 and Rix Lagle, 23 in the killer position. Igor started his career with Joydean High School and was bought by the Windlansing Wildcat. Condor invested $ T36,000 to bring him to Rustbelly Creek Municipal. Meanwhile, Rix began his career at STAS Academy before being hired by Condor.

Lincoln Bournazian, 31 and Joaquin Willenham, 25, will challenge the server. Veteran Bournazian setter was named Best Setter during the sixth season. Is this her last season before he retires? Whereas Willenham is a local product that has been raised in Condor for a long time. Cole Leukhardt, 27, and Monroe Kindhaven, 24, will also be competing in the setter.
