Martune wrote:"Order. This chamber will move to the reading and debate of the Central Bank of Banduria Act."

"As a former banker myself, I wholeheartedly support the Act. I am quite certain to say that most of Banduria's larger banks, including the OnBank Banduria, will support the Central Bank's monetary policies and adjustment of interest rates once it is passed. It is time for more regulations to be placed upon our currency. Given the current trade war between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, the future looks pessimistically hard for Banduria's economy, and the exchange rate of our currency. To flip it back, and maintain the rate of GDP growth we currently have - or even to imporve it, we need the monetary policies handled cautiously through the Central Bank. I urge the honourable members of this Parliament to support the act."

Madam Speaker Mooren, despite instances of friction in the past between us, believe it or not, you background has caught my attention. You see, I guess you can say that I also began my political career very young. I was 11 in fact, the first time I was put in charge of something. You see, we made it. Sure, our backgrounds are from what I understand, a world apart, but we are both here because someone noticed the skills that we have. That's what it takes, having the right skills at the right place at the right time. Well, that is what this bill is about, it is about helping people develop the skills, and be there at the right place at the right time so that they can be noticed. We help them develop the skills and values, and their membership in a national organization will open so many doors for them to grow and strengthen our country.

Speaker, I think that in this time of dangerous Sinophobia and calls for violence from the governing coalition, it is more important than ever to forge institutions that will build civic pride, sustainable and everlasting civil pride. While some on the government bench have given resources to those who already possess them, I think that this bill helps give poor, working-class, under-resourced Bandurians a chance to serve their country in ways that would not have been available to them before. This bill in turn will aid these tensions, this bill will help privileged Bandurians recognize the wealth and talents of their working-class compatriots. This bill and this money that we spend on our youth will come back to us tenfold once these young people become adult leaders in their community.

Madam Speaker, I want to urge the Chamber, that if they have ever met a talented young person who just needed a single opportunity in order to get ahead in life, this bill can be that opportunity that they so need.

Pass this bill, and in ten years, our young adults will be the envy of the Pacific.

"Madam Speaker, the ignorant blabber-jabber coming from the usual PRC payroll politician Nanjing Ju. Sinophobia this and Sinophobia that. The only Sinophobic person present on this room is Nanjing Ju herself and possibly Beijing Lu and their RPP cronies, because of their outright hostility to both the Government, neutral or other opposition parties, and crossbenchers; all races and peoples of Banduria, anyone except fellow RPP politicians. Let us face the facts. The national budget could not possibly be allocated to accomodate such useless programs as the National Youth Service Act. It literally brings nothing to the youth of Banduria except constant propaganda under the guise of "civic pride". Which is only another way for the RPP to insert their ideologies and indoctrinate the youth that is member of the National Youth Service. Clause §1.2.f stated that it would provide training for "Instilling national pride and respect". Say, what is the definition of "national pride and respect"? Submission to the PRC and the CCP, like Nanjing Ju and her fellow PRC-funded lobbyists in Parliaments are? My own son is currently a minor, and in no way possible I could allow him to join the brainwashing camp that is the National Youth Service."

"I believe our current education system, which already attained high PISA ranks comparable to that of Singapore or other nations, could provide the necessary life skills for our youth to contribute in society. The Outdoor camps proposed in this act is of extreme concern for me. Clause §1.7.b stated that one of the programs is going to be a "Historical and Civic Community Relationship Camp". We all know that the RPP is very keen on instilling "Eurasians are bad, the colonial Dutch rule is tyranny, there is nothing more right than our ideologies" to every branch in society. This is a big no-no. Nanjing Ju and Beijing Lu could possibly convince other people to submit to their CCP overlords' ideological rule, but in no way I will surrender the education of Banduria's youth to this appalling Act. You've already been paid enough by the CCP; don't try to corrupt other people as well. "Envy of the Pacific", yes, very much the envy of the Pacific in terms of pandering out to the PRC."

"If you ask me to apologize; no, I won't apologize for everything I've said. I have said nothing wrong but plain, simple facts. I am proud for not being a PRC-funded MP and I am proud of standing against PRC government agents in the Bandurian parliament."

"Furthermore, I would like to remind the House that there is no budget for this year. The budget for this year was provided for last year. The budget this government will be introducing will provide for funds for the next year, which will begin on 1 July and last until 1 September. This government is taking into careful consideration the appropriations of the next year's budget, and we would appreciate it if the House to give us ample time in order to draw up a budget that benefits all Bandurians. Thank you."

Speaker, I want to reiterate that this bill might not be aimed at assisting the already wealthy and well-networked youth in Banduria. I stand by my point that connecting with ones compatriots Of different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds benefits ones development and understanding of our nation. I would still highly recommend this program for youth of all backgrounds.

The MP’s point illustrates why this bill is sourly needed. Once we get the youth of different backgrounds together in the same organization, we can begin unlearning and disengaging from the racism that currently engulfs the nation.

I must also object to the notion that this program would be to peddle propaganda, this program is what we make of it and right now we have an opportunity like no other to make this program a vessel for unity, cohesion, and patriotism.

The children of MP’s are already well-connected, this is our chance to extend that benefit across the nation. This program might be the brightest and most enjoyable memory for a generation of by our youth.

Madam Speaker, I stand by this bill, and I object to the continuous name-calling and Sinophobic remarks that my party mates and I are subjected to on a daily basis.

"Madam Speaker, is this bill trying to emulate the Komsomol, or the Hitler Youth? While I am quite in favour of training our youth in physical skills and social service, I think it can definitely be achieved in a better way than this. In any case, I cannot possibly support this bill in its current state unless it explicitly prohibits making membership compulsory or discriminating against children on the basis of their membership, contains safeguards against political indoctrination and propaganda, and has regional autonomy rather than one national executive governing the whole programme."

"Really, Madam Speaker? Unless explicitly prohibited, I cannot see anything preventing instructors from engaging in political indoctrination, including inducing hatred for other ethnicities. And I do not believe that the education I received in the 1970s and '80s was substantially different than that which my son and daughter have been receiving now, at least in the parts which this bill purports to address. Also, the member has not addressed my other concerns."

Further, Madam Speaker, the member did not address you."
