Farn, aren't you aware that the more dramatic a farewell is, the less likely it is that it will take? It's basically an NSGP law.
The fact that it was so loud it got locked basically guaranteed it wouldn't last five minutes.

The Europeian Republican Navy, which has a no-griefing policy, was among those helping TBH and LWU to hold the Delegacy of Boston. I am satisfied (as a lowly Private First Class ;p) that there were no attempts made by our forces to forcibly remove natives from Boston or to refound it. :facepalm:
