D-Link Gaming was created in 1992 by Kevin Keys, shortly after the video game crash. Keys wanted to fill a gap in the Gloriax market for gaming, after many companies exited the market, citing poor games sales. It then grew in size to become a juggernaut in Gloriax, being the largest game retailer. The company had grown and nurtured a generation of gamers. The company hired passionate gamers who were always happy to help with their tips relating to console problems, and walkthroughs for just about any game. Gloriax Game Dev was formed in 1980. GGD successfully survived the video game crash, thanks to an emergency capital injection by Electrum. Since the recovery, GGD focused on both the Electrumite and Gloriax gaming markets to create the highest quality and innovative gaming products. They are famous for being the first console maker in those markets to have consoles which had motion control, three dimensional screens, touch screens, amongst other innovations. They are also a game maker, being successful in launching several franchises, including the Airline Simulator series, and the Tycoon series.
There were two factors which saw the Dream Games brand fall into obscurity in recent years. First, the nation of Electrum was frozen in a time loop - after being frozen in place for several years and the intervention of a fifth dimensional entity, The Computator, the nation unfroze itself many years later. The links between Electrum and Gloriax were shattered, with the Electrumite side of the business unable to contact the Gloriax side. Second, in a simultaneous time period, the country of Gloriax disappeared from existence. Over time, a new nation, The Grearish Union took its place. After some impressive detective work, the Grearish discovered that the nation of Gloriax had preceded them, and not only that, the Electrumites were contacting them, wanting to do business and revive Dream Games. Of course, the Grearish agreed to the proposition.
After an impossibly long hiatus, Dream Games has finally come back. The atmosphere of collaboration and the complementary skill-set of the two nations has remains as strong as ever.
