Yes, the nation is committed to it's Fossil-less power by 2030. It has initiative to reduce fossil powered fuel. Nearly all of the remaining rainforest land is now protected. It is also a party to numerous environmental agreements.
What can you do to contribute to the World Climate Alliance?
* 3.5B per year in funding from the Environment Directive, Humanitarian Aid Agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representing half of such funding (to increase as funds are appropriated)
* Additional funds for disaster relief, infrastructure improvements, food aid, and health programs as they relate to climate change and related environmental issues
* Exchange programs for political, business, and academic leaders to exchange ideas and methods vis-a-vis environmental issues
* Share it's expertise in efficient, safe nuclear power
* Access to it's wide ranging space and land based sensors relating to climatology and meteorology

- Yes. There is an inter-provincial compact to establish and operate a cap-and-trade system for greenhouse gas emissions, and a general carbon tax for provinces not part of that compact, starting in 2018 at 20 North American pounds per tonne of carbon, to increase by 10 North American pounds per year until at 44 NA pounds per tonne of carbon. There are also plans to install extraction royalties for getting oil and coal out of General Crown-lands.

We can contribute our real-life understanding of the issue and the policies needed to achieve goals, as well as hopefully garnering more support for this accord in the region of Forest, which is a region formed of nations who in real life care for the environment. We are also fairly new to NS, but we are very active, so hopefully we can contribute some new ideas and perspectives.
