We slavers are perhaps one of NS's most oppressed minorities. For ages we've had people saying that we have to abolish slavery or they'll nuke us. It's not just people who enslave particular ethnic groups who are threatened, it's us otherwise human rights-respecting slavers too. Have these nations even considered what happens to the slaves when they nuke us? Of course not. They don't care about slaves, they only care about waving their dicks around.

Well, I for one am tired of all this. It's time we stood up to them. It's time to bring back the golden age of slavery. It's time to make sure the international slave trade can operate in peace. So I'm announcing the creation of a new alliance - the Pro-Slavery Alliance. We will defend nations that practice slavery from anti-slavers. It's as simple as that.

George Fenwick II's defence of slavery on economic grounds

While the idea that slavery is unprofitable remains popular among those who have abolished the institution, perhaps because they wish to rationalise their irrational decision, it is not one that is borne out by the facts. Not just is slavery profitable, it benefits the countries where it is legal by allowing citizens to completely focus on education, self-improvement and the increasingly vital creative economy.

Most developed economies have a severe shortage of skilled manual labour. In an attempt to solve this problem, they have imported large numbers of foreign workers. Not only is this an imperfect solution when a clear and completely effective one has already been provided, but the use of foreign labour drastically increases societal and political polarisation.

The simple fact is that most people in developed countries are unwilling to do jobs that need to be done. So who will clean houses and fix wires? Foreigners? That is only slightly different to what we are doing, the difference being that our solution is a rising tide that raises all boats, allowing governments to focus on improving matters for their own people, who can in turn focus on more fulfilling pursuits while also being able to get their pipes fixed. The vast majority of slaves we sell have been taken from warzones and failed states – their new standard of living is undoubtedly preferable to their previous one.

It is not just skilled manual labour that the citizens of more developed countries refuse to do – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are all areas where those citizens are largely unwilling to work in and there is a labour shortage. And that's why we offer educated slaves too. In today's world, having strong STEM sectors is a matter of national security. When you confront this reality, you will realise that it is past time governments should put aside irrational concerns and finally do what is right.
