Support staff will be on the ground ahead of time to prepare for the arrival of the main peacekeeping force. Deployment is expected to take between five to eleven weeks.

Number of other humanitarian personnel you will send (and their occupations): To be determined based off of funding restrictions present in the FY2048 omnibus bill. In any case, these prospective helping hands will labor to complete three major objectives: a) the reconstruction of the Congolese civil service; b) the resurrection of the old Belgian road and rail network (IRL Belgium had paved or otherwise maintained over 10,000 kilometers of driveable road in 1959, but this has largely fallen by the wayside and nowadays Congolese roads are known for their state of extreme disrepair), and c) the construction of new health, telecoms, and industrial infrastructure in Indian-controlled regions of the country. Ancillary programs, if there's still funding left over, will most likely deal with refurbishing river transport, standardizing financial instruments within the Indian Army's mandate, and rebuilding schools and youth programs (which might provide a decently educated workforce in the future).

Bias your troops and government might have (OOC): Anti-regime for the most part (India is interested in securing Katanga's uranium and cobalt mines for themselves via a friendly power either in Kinshasa or more locally; in addition, New Delhi wants to secure mining rights in North and South Kasai provinces via arm-twisting in the Palais de la Nation or via more distasteful methods). As for the troops individually, none of them really want to be there but the sizable paycheck offered and the opportunity to travel (on the government's dime) to a place where they are considered royally wealthy is too much of a draw for them to resist. So, all in all, they're really not in Central Africa out of generosity, but to further Indian interests in a region where India's arch-rival China has long held the dominant stake in local affairs.
