Damn good movie. Bit sad ending, but if my theory is correct the man in the background at the end is our Merc.

I'm not saying it was unrealistic, but it makes Inglourious Basterds look like a documentary...

Contact.

It's a great movie, probably one of my new favorites. Wouldn't recommend to a person who watches movies solely for entertainment though. Not because it isn't entertaining, but because I think they wouldn't be able to appreciate it fully through that lens.

The Silver Bears a Michael Caine film I'd never seen or even heard of before. One of those caper films of the 60s and 70s, a bit of a tired one.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the British know how to make a heist movie.

Birds of Prey - Harley Quinn keeps popping up on my feed but I really don't feel committed to watching, I did watch A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood but basically fell asleep, it might have helped if I knew who the hell the person was in the first place.

I've heard the name referenced in film or sitcom, though oddly i thought it was a talking horse.

I made the mistake of watching Batman Forever for the first time in about 20 years.

I say "mistake" because when I was a kid, this was one of my favourite movies. So much so that when they did the reboots in the 2000s I was like "Why, they nailed it in the 90s."

But, no, it was awful. I didn't remember the movie being so bad but, aside from Nicole Kidman being rather pleasant to look at, it was basically unwatchable.

Cornered an RKO film noir directed by Edward Dmytryk with Dick Powell, and Walter Slezak excellent in the fat man in a white suit and panama hat role. The plot was somewhat convoluted, but an interesting film with good anti-fascist sentiments.
