Mr Gomez gained national attention with his marriage to Princess Thelma, the Empress's first cousin. Upon marriage, Mr.Gomez was raised to the peerage of Earl of San Juan. Animals, alcohol, drugs and/or plants imported: Alcohol may be imported via diplomatic bag for the diplomats' own consumption, as may marijuana, as its use is legalized (albeit strictly regulated) within the Unified Empire. Pets most likely will be brought along with the staff, although the Foreign Ministry will handle quarantine and certification/vaccination matters with its counterparts in Majapahit Customs before bringing said animals into the country. Plant imports will be of an agricultural and non-invasive nature, with all flora imported into the country being sterilized before arrival (which can be changed upon request).

The Imperial Foreign Affairs Bureau has delightfully received your letter of application. After thorough consideration, we would like to inform that your application for an Embassy in Majapahit has been ACCEPTED. We are pleased to receive Mr. Ser Jaume von Bfalzerschaft as Ambassador of the Unified Empire of Mersdon to the Empire of Majapahit. He shall be welcomed here with utmost courtesy.

The Embassy of the Unified Empire of Mersdon shall be located at 20 Pesisir Kenjeran St., Kenjeran District, Majakarta. Although an unusual location for a foreign embassy, the premises is situated close to the capital city's eastern coast, with easy access to the nearby Kenjeran Beach. An apron has also been reserved at the Kusno Sosrodihardjo International Airport to safely park and store your aircraft.

We understand your concern regarding the need to further our bilateral cooperation in many fields. As per your request, we have arranged for the Mersidonian Embassy to be permitted a maximum number of twenty-two (22) diplomatic staff to accomodate.

We would also like to inform you that a team of inspectors from the Imperial Health Bureau and the Imperial Capital Police will be present at the ambassador's arrival to conduct mandatory inspections (in conjunction with Mersidonian officials) on the animals, alcoholic beverages, drugs, and plants before they can be brought inside the embassy compound. We apologise in advance for any inconveniences this may cause.

Menteri Luar Negeri,

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in light of the accession to the throne of the late Emir, Ghazi bin Qadar Al Shams, by his successor Zuhr bint Ghazi Al Shams, Emirah of Al Madhaa, and by her explicit command, considers it prudent to begin to establish various diplomatic relations with such countries that the Emirate does not yet have. As Minister, it is my duty to begin the process of establishing the presence of such missions, especially in countries such as your own.

On behalf of the Emirah and her Government, I am pleased to be able to present to you this letter, of which its sole purpose is to forge a bond between the Emirate and the Empire of Majapahit, with the goal of establishing an embassy in Majakarta. Her Majesty the Emirah sends her warmest greetings to His Imperial Majesty—she believes, as well as the Emirate, that such a bond would be in the best interests of our respective countries, and hopes that your Ministry believes the same. In these times, diplomacy is well needed, and as the world and its influence expands, the ability to consider the Empire as one of its allies would bring much joy to the Ministry and its staff alike.

Enclosed below is the required documentation needed in order to establish diplomatic ties between us; although the diplomatic program is currently under construction, if after receiving this letter His Imperial Majesty's Government wishes to establish a Majapahiti embassy in the capital city of Gu'la, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would be more than delighted to accept the esteemed hand of friendship while reserving a place for the expected Ambassador, and requests that any such inquiries be directed to the Ministry via letter and addressed to myself, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Additionally, the Ministry asks that accommodations be made for several of the members of the appointed diplomatic staff in regard to religion—the Safir, along with the Press and Science Attachés, are all practicing Sunni Muslims, while the Deputy Safir and Legal Attaché are practicing Christians, and as such wish to inquire about the presence of any mosques/masjids and churches that may be located in either Majakarta or the smaller localities surrounding it. The Ministry also requests that no alcohol be brought onto the premises of the embassy during official diplomatic events, as a sign of respect for traditional Islamic beliefs as it regards the drink's haram status.

Short background and credentials (optional): Born in Tehran, Iran, to a Iranian-Madhaa'in father and a Majapahiti mother, Mme. Ahmari spent her childhood in Tehran until she was 7; the family, deciding to flee Iran after the 1994 Qazvin protests against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during the economic crisis, moved to Gu'la, the Madhaa'in capital, where her father had been born almost 40 years prior. She attended school up until her first year of college in the Emirate, choosing instead to study Law and Political Science at the King Saud University in neighboring Saudi Arabia. For five years after her graduation, she lived in Japan, working as a freelance translator, and was reported to have considered applying to Osaka University in pursuit of a postgraduate degree—she ultimately decided against it, returning to the Emirate in 2013 after an engagement that ended in the sudden death of her fiance. Upon her return, she was secretary to one of the premier members of the Majlis from 2016 - 2017 but was not, however, officially appointed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a candidate for ambassadorship until 2019, although the Emirah had ascended to the throne the year prior. (The Emirah, at the time, was in the process of completing her postgraduate studies in South Korea, and was the de jure, but yet uncrowned, ruler of the country.) Previously, Mme. Ahmari served twice as a Legal Attaché—once as a temporary at the Emirate's embassy in Tokyo, Japan from June of 2015 - late December of the same year, and as an official attaché at the embassy in Beirut, Lebanon from 2017 - 2018; the former marked her first (albeit brief) return to Japan in two-and-a-half years.
