It has come to our attention that recently several of our citizens have received recruitment telegrams from Enadia. Enadia, like us, is a member of the Arnhelm Declaration of Recruitment Standards. This treaty forbids signatories from recruiting from any other signatory.

Effectively immediately, per the terms of the treaty, we have scheduled a telegram in response. No further action will be taken if no further breaches of the treaty occur.

The NationStates Great Exhibition! The festivities kick off May 29 - May 31. Europeia has a booth and we plan to showcase Europeia's culture, media, and include a fun contest for all booth-goers.

The Republic of Europeia is pleased to announce that it is hosting it's second ever EuroPride festival!

In the midst of the current crisis, many in-person events, festivals, and celebrations have unfortunately been canceled. We still want to celebrate Pride in NationStates online however! We will be hosting a one week Pride celebration from June 8 to June 15. This will be an opportunity for both members of the NationStates LGBTQ+ community and allies alike to come together and share stories, meet other members of the community, and enjoy games and fun activities. We have a full schedule of events ranging from LGBTQ+ trivia and other games, art galleries for nations to display their past or present LGBTQ+ related arts, speeches and stories from members of the LGBTQ+ community, and much more!

This event will primarily be held on a Discord server for nations from all regions, and some will be hosted on our forums. If you would like to contribute by writing a story, article, or speech, please reach out to Councilor of Coordination Peeps at TheNationofthePeople#8776 on discord. We hope to see you involved in the festivities, and can't wait to see all the amazing contributions, stories, and experiences from the NationStates community!

Caer Sidi was recently the victim of acts of forum and discord destruction. These acts are a clear violation of the Convention on Off-Site Property Security. Consequently, the perpetrator, Itchkerie, shall henceforth be a persona non grata in Europeia.

Europeia wishes Caer Sidi well in recovering from these unjustified attacks and we have offered to provide any assistance we can.

We also look forward to welcoming their citizens in joininf us for games and other activities this coming week as part of our region of the week program. We hope we can provide a welcome distraction in the form of entertainment in this difficult time.

Europeia and Union of Democratic States Ratify Republica Accord

(Europeia - July 22, 2020) - Europeia and the Union of Democratic States have ratified the Republica Accord, formalizing relations between the two regions through the diplomatic pact. The diplomatic pact marks Europeia's continued influence on the world stage as a leader of the Independent philosophy.

"I am excited we are building a relationship with the United Democratic States based on a common commitment to civil rights and recognition of the importance of interregional cultural exchanges," Europeian Chief of State Malashaan said. "The Republica Accord demonstrates that Europeia, as an Independent region, remains committed to working in partnership and collaboration with regions of varying ideologies, so long as these regions maintain the same steadfast commitment to civil rights as Europeia, and maintain shared cultural and community interests."

Thatcher Whitehall, founder and chancellor of the Union of Democratic States, remarked to the UDS Senate upon submitting the treaty for ratification.

" ... Europeia is a prominent user-created region that spearheaded the Arnhelm Declaration which established ethical recruitment between UCRs, the Coalition Against the Ideology of Nazism, or CAIN, which served to attack and destroy nazi regions, and continues to vigilantly fight against both fascism and francoism on NationStates," Thatcher Whitehall said. "Both Europeia and UDS are Republics and are very serious about and centered on regional politics. It is my hope that this agreement will serve as a backboard for a fruitful cultural exchange between the UDS and Europeia."

The Europeian Senate unanimously ratified the Republica Accord after Chief of State Malashann presented it to the legislative body.

(Europeia, August 23, 2020) - The Europeian Republican Navy, along with The North Pacific Army, the East Pacific Sovereign Army, the United Kingdom Armed Forces, The Land of Kings and Emperors' Imperial Army, Balder, The Black Hawks, The Autumnal Court of Caer Sidi, and Lone Wolves United have captured and intend to hold the region of Calefacta Aquas Piscinae.

The initial operation was a great victory for the ERN, which had not lead a hold in almost a year. If you would like to join the ERN then apply for citizenship and join us.

My faction during N-Day², We Still Like Mike Atherton, was completely annihilated halfway through the event by the 2nd Jacuzzi United Front, which was (then native-run) CAP's faction. As such, I congratulate Europeia and friends on this raid.
