This is a threat because we are a major exporter of firearms and if the pirates get there hands on more we may have a international crisis. IPASC Sakura a 950-meter long vessel sat on the large cement tarmac of the airbase on the edge of Piikalan territory. Her large metallic struts extended downwards leaving a space of 30 meters between the tarmac and ship casting a large cooling shadow in the desert heat of the planet. The Sakura was an older Piikalan vessel a veteran of the second Piikalan invasion of Celebritydude she had initially been the pride of the Catlaniah space fleet when she came under Piikalan control after the nation collapsed. The Brigham Young class dreadnought the Sakura was showing her age though as the ships hull was covered with dents and weld marks scars of the harsh fighting of the Celebritydude war. While her inside glimmered with her recently installed state of the art technology.

As she sat there, the sound of lories and men working echoed beneath the towering hull of the massive vessel. As lorries full of food, weapons, and materials ferried the supplies from two military cargo vessels parked on both side of the Sakura. Carrying the supplies up into the large ramp on the bottom of the ships hull. As spacecraft rushed in and out of the hanger on the top of the ship. As the Piikalan marines ran laps around the ship while straining to stay up in the hot sun of the 3-atmosphere planet. Upon the bridge of the massive vessel, the captain and flight crew were abuzz as they planned out their flight path to the conflict zone. While the engineers down in the engineering room were busy fine tunning the last of the ships brand new engines and fusion reactors, allowing the vessel to support her new weapons platforms. The technicians finished calibrating the last of the guns. As her mechanics worked on the fighters on the flight deck.

A few hours later:

The Sakura was ready to leave the planet as the cargo ships departed. The captain asked the crew to take their seats. As the ramp on the bottom closed with rapid speed, the hanger doors slid shut. As the machinery buzzed to life the ship begun to shutter. The first officer added thrust to the vessels impulse engines causing the large metal arrowhead-shaped beast to lift off and the landing gears to retract. The captain watched as the cement tarmac strip was left bare once again. The ship's priest then started chanting a traditional Piikalan prayer asking for a safe voyage and for the ship and her crew.

As the massive ship began to race upwards towards the atmosphere, the crew started singing to continue on the Piikalan tradition of singing the Anthem of the Piikalan military as they left for war:

Then engines started to glow with a bright light as space around the vessels suddenly was filed with a soft bang as the Sakura disappeared leaving a splash of light in the bleak night sky of the planet bellow. The Sakura upon leaving the supply planet raced at full speed towards the sector DDD36-GZA55(location of space in Piikala star charts that contains the island of blanc) to begin its mission to destroy the enemy ship. While the crew spent the two-day journey to the location preparing the Sakura for war.

As he looked at the map, he pondered the call he had with the imperial houses head minister of defence Yamamoto Togu about how to progress with the current events. Suddenly the Admiral stood up and walked to the door of his office. Sliding it open and called his secretary and told them to call the three litoral class frigates the IPNS Nana, IPNS Alii, and IPNS Hokkaido. To prepare a barrage of SSM-6 surface to space missiles at the coordinates the Piikalan satellites predicted the enemy ship to be. The Admiral standing in the door frame softly said "I give them permission to launch. Long live the emperor."

The sound of explosions occurred over the water surface as shock waves appeared around the three frigates off the coast of Blanc. As thirty SSM-6 missiles shot off into the air, breaking the sound barriers and leaving a trail of water mist across the sky. The SSM-6s shot up into the heavens and leaving the atmosphere and heading towards the enemy ship in the heavens.

Suddenly the voice from the computer stopped, the blinds retracted, and the doors unlocked as the admiral sat there in disbelief at the message he received. Suddenly the thins black tablet turned off and started to glow. The circuits fried themselves to crisp. The general shifted his wait in his lawn chair and told the lutenist ready the fighters and frigate we're at war. Suddenly the sound of the new Edos warning system swept across the base. That was soon joined by the base's siren system as fighters and frigates pushed out of their underground hangers. The station became a hive of activity as soldiers moved the ordinance onto the planes and prepared the frigate for war.
