"The Polarian Commonwealth"
- Continued usage of the blue-and-white flag, as the flag doesn't represent DemSoc or RevSoc, but is just a generic "Hey, we're not Monarchist anymore!" banner. Note that Orange represents Royalty and other things dealing w/ Monarchism.
- Dual capitols (Lisbon and Valois)
- Oligarchy status; both execs are now leaders.
- The other political figures of both Polarian and Portuguese govt's are pooled together.
- Democratic Socialist and Polarian Progressive Union statuses are in question, as Socialism seems like it has failed Polaria and the Polarians keep trying to reconfigure the system in the name of Identity Politics. The State was officially "colorblind," and didn't see any differences in the ethnicities in Polaria, though just grouped them all together as "Polarian."
- Religion is left up to the Commonwealth States; no one can truly say the Commonwealth is Secularist, Secular Pagan, or a religious duality with the Christian-Catholics.
- Which means that also the Commonwealth is neither Venusian, Athenian or Minervan. This also means that there'd be no state sponsoring of the Venusian Church, and also the many different ways to worship one's patron deity.
- The autonomous regions of The Azores, Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands will lose their autonomous statuses; they will now be full states in the Commonwealth.
- Since Polarian China, Italy and Africa are full parts of Polaria, they'll also be Commonwealth States.
- The Commonwealth has no right over the monopoly of how Pagan deities are depicted, meaning that creative liberties will be left to the States themselves and also the citizens of said States.
- The 'commune' level shall be abolished, as it is too small a level to work with. 'Township' will be the smallest it can get inside of a State.
- The Polarian and Portuguese constitutions will be combined, and all diplomatic relations also combined aswell.
- The Portuguese green-yellow-orange cross will still be flown, however, as a diplomatic flag. The Polarian flag is the National and Official flag. Macau and other named areas of Polaria will keep their flags.
Alicia examined the proposition.
"Seems good to me, but what about the official language? Or is that left up to the Commonwealth State?" Alicia asked.
She was on the phone line w/ Valorie.
"Well, we wouldn't have an official language." Valorie said over-the-phone.
"So what language would our legal documents, addresses, orders and whatnot be in?" Alicia asked.
"Okay, so, we just use Polarian as the one-size-fits-all, or the Lingua Franca, since essentially Portuguese is a pigeon-tongue of Polarian, no offense." Valorie answered.
"None taken; that's actually true. I just don't want this to look biased towards Polaria." Alicia told.
"It won't be, Portugal's getting alot from this, or atleast the Commonwealth States formed from it." Valorie responded.
"Well, hopefully, when everything's all said-and-done, we can gain more bargaining chips than just Madagascar." Alicia replied.
"They just offer us food and animals. Frankly, I don't see the point in having an agreement with someone when they're not giving you what you need. We're trying to focus on full urbanization. We'd need Iron, Titanium, Steel and other metals to make that happen; to make more buildings. Oil's pretty-good, I won't dismiss Oil; that's pretty-much how we were beating the French at the Car Industry, but now they're adapting and competing with us, which is also good." Valorie told.
"That's essentially Calvary and Animal Warfare. We Iberians, and dare-I-say-it, Polarians could do better. Heck, we oughta be doing better." Alicia stated.
"We think that France was dogwhistling to fascists; to say 'You have a huge population, but not enough landmass, howsabout you takeover some land?' " Valorie said.
"I don't know. I just hope we don't go to War." Alicia replied.
"I don't want war either, Portugal or Polaria. We're just focusing on Security and Peace." Valorie agreed.
"We need to put more money where our mouth is, and speaking of Monies, what will we do about Currency? Do we combine the Dinero and the Guilder or do we have currencies for Commonwealth States?" Alicia asked.
"Well, we'd go with the Former. The latter sounds like Anarchy. We need to have a stable - and unified economy. Hopefully all of this would give us a leg up." Valorie answered.
Alicia laughed.
"Which is why you'd need to quit Socialism." Alicia said.
"I know. Sadly, it was only a means to an end. It didn't work, no matter what we did. We're a Progressivist society anyways. Socialism is holding us back. Let's just be proud that we didn't go full Communist-Socialist." Valorie agreed.
"The Polarian Vision is working though. We'd need more cities." Alicia stated.
Valorie agreed.
"So, when do you want this to be ratified?" Alicia asked.
"Take as long as you'd want. No rush. We already are having issues with the English, so that may delay us for some time." Valorie answered.
'Anything else you'd like to say?" Valorie asked.
"Yeah, sure, girl! I found that part about France and the Ratcatcher to be hilarious!" Alicia cheered.
"...I do not claim to be perfect - nor do I claim to know everything. But, I do know enough to understand that when you have a rat in your restaurant you call a rat-catcher and not the clown! We, my fellow French citizens are the rat-catcher. But instead of doing the right thing and calling us, they called the clown - the UK..!" ~ French President Coty
"I need to visit France someday." Alicia thought-aloud.
"Well, Elena's going to Lille, as-we-speak." Valorie told.
"Sounds good. I hope everything works out. Also, you may need to increase your security and guards. This is no joke. They're trying to destroy us from the inside, that's why I had to start strongmanning and acting Populist with my black dress on!" Alicia shouted.
Valorie laughed.
"Populism sounds good. I just don't want any Nazi or Fascist accusations. At this point, I'm done with these fools insulting us. They need to shut up - and for good." Valorie told, getting serious.
"Mhmm, girl. They think we're all about Rhetoric and Jokes, but we're serious. We will actually join the Warsaw Pact. We just need one more insult hurled our way." She continued.
"Oh yeah. I forgot to ask about the PPU. So, what we're going to do is, we're going to have to bust them since they're a political monopoly, and thus 'too big to fail.' That'd give us so many political parties and movements, but that's alright." Alicia said/asked.
"We can do that, that makes sense. Plus, we need to root out some of this lobbying and colluding nonsense. I feel like something's up." Valorie said.
"Well, that is it, y'all! Buh-bye!" Alicia declared the ending of the phone meeting.
'Bye!" Valorie said.
She'd slam the telephone down, it'd then auto-hangup.
Daniel caught on to her suspicions and began to adopt her quiet tone, "We do have plans for a sack and grab if that option is preferable to all of you. Of course, Discretion will be top priority if this option is taken. We can also simply blackmail him. The main objective of these operations should we decide to go after him is to find out if he knew about the attacks that were being planned and whether his decision to donate to the group was of his own will or if he was compelled to by the British government."

Good evening fellow countrymen, it is the end of the month again and this time it is the night bring the old year to a close and welcome a new year. In a few hours, the year one thousand, nine hundred and forty-nine will begin. It will be the year my term comes to an end. In a few hours, the month of January will begin: the 1st month of campaigning. The nation hopes you vote wisely on March.
Now let's stop talking about future matters. We should be talking about the acts and setbacks of this Republic. The Huks have made major gains against government forces but they are still a manageable threat. We still haven't been able to contact Taruc which for those who don't know is the leader of these rebels. I advise you to be careful if you are visiting or are living in Central Luzon.
Next matter on hand is the modernization of the military. We are trying to build up our forces to protect ourselves against the Communist insurrection. The United States is providing help on that for that front with their aid in military equipment and aides to reform our military in addition to them creating military bases here for at least 50 years. It will also help us in case our claim in Sabah goes hot and we have to enforce our claim through force.
I am also pleased to say that the Philippines is recovering nicely from the Second World War and has an economy that is growing rapidly.

Official Commune
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Turkey
Regarding Economic Aid Offer From the USSR
We gladly accept your offer and would like to ask assistance in the form of technical advisors as well as equipment for us to further develop our heavy industry to bolster Turkey's economy. Currently, there will be a general election held this 5th of March to appoint the government. Once the elections are over and the Republican's People Party win again, we are looking to further tighten our government ties by joining in a military alliance with the USSR.
In this aid request, we would like to also purchase a quite large number of military assets to help guard our sovereignty. As we know, Turkey is already using an arsenal of assets almost exclusively Soviet made, with some numbers of other previous Allied assets during WW2 and before. Therefore we are also looking at the future possibility of making factories and sites that are able to produce Soviet designed tanks and airplanes here in Turkey. This does not have to happen now but in the range of years from now. In return we will reduce or remove goods & services taxes from important Soviet businesses or trade that are passing through Turkish territories.
Attached below is the details of military assets that we are hoping you could allow us to purchase from the Soviets. Thank you once again for extending this aid offer and the whole of Turkey extends their utmost gratitude for your help.
Military Assets Purchase*T-34-85 (mod 1946) Medium Tank - 180 units
*SU-100 Tank Destroyer - 30 units
*La-9 Fighter Aircraft- 80 units
*MiG-9 Jet Fighter- 30 units
*Tupolev Tu-2 Medium Bomber - 20 units
*Ilyushin Il-10 Ground Attack Aircraft - 40 units

TO: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Turkey
FROM: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Union of Soviet Socialist Republic
On behalf of the people of the Soviet Union, I am pleased to be able to immediately provide both technical advisors and industrial equipment for the development of heavy industry in Turkey. In line with your mention of possible future procurement of military industrial resources and equipment, I have specifically set aside resources and equipment for the establishment of iron production facilities in Turkey, to be made available at a very deep discount should they be requested. In exchange for this metal manufacturing equipment, I ask that the Republic of Turkey exclusively use only iron ore from Turkey, the Soviet Union, and other worker-friendly nations.
As for military equipment, at this time, we are able to make available for purchase the tanks and tank destroyers that were requested. As for the aircraft, while the Soviet Air Force has set aside for your purchase the requested La-9 and IL-10 aircraft, we are currently unable to provide the requested MiG-9 and Tu-2 aircraft at this time. If the Republic of Turkey is interested in a closer military partnership sometime in the future, the Soviet Air Force will gladly arrange for them to train on the aircraft.

Dimitri Danilovich was hard at work at the wireless telegraph set. The telegraph operator had been working steadily since 8 that morning, and he had hoped that the slow trickle of outgoing messages would remain at that pace until the day ended. However, around noon, outgoing traffic had suddenly increased, and he had noticed from the uptick of foot traffic in the corridor that the incoming message traffic had also shot up. With any luck, this was related to his own outgoing messages, and not the announcement of another surprise war from the Americans. Dimitri's own messages were less interesting to him and, probably, to the rest of the world, but still had to go out. Besides, it wasn't like he could refuse to send it.
The one that was next on the docket for him to send had something to do with an organization called the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance, whatever that was. Dimitri had recently sent a flurry of messages trying to organize regular economic aid, and he supposed that this was just another aid package or something along those lines. Dimitri slid the new message next to the telegraph set and got to work tapping away.TO: Soviet Ambassador to Turkey

Soviet Embassy in Mexico
Mexico City, Mexico
Viktor Petrovich read the message slowly, then leaned back in his chair. Although the position of Soviet ambassador to Mexico was often seen as a backwater posting for men at the end of their careers, Petrovich felt differently. After all, Mexico was already ideologically friendly to the USSR, so why not make the two nations politically closer as well? And this offer was just the way to do it. Viktor had heard rumblings on the street of a new plan for industrialization in Mexico, so he felt that the Mexican government would be very appreciative of aid from the Soviet Union. That settled it. He would try to get a meeting with an economic minister or even the leader, if possible, and see if they were receptive to industrialization aid in the form of technical advisors. Or maybe raw materials. Or maybe equipment. Or even all three.
Coincidentally, at about the same time that Viktor was writing a note for his secretary to arrange a meeting, the Soviet ambassador to Turkey was doing the exact thing.Actions:

To the Government of the Honorable Country of France,
As you well know, both of our countries were impacted severely by the ear instigated by the Nazi traitors, but I fear that Germany has not been able to recover as well as France has, and we now call for your aid to feed our people and get Germany on its feet again. We are will9ng to cooperate with demands that you may have, whether those be military support, support in the UN, or financial compensation.

"Herr Bauer, Germany is in no state to get involved in Asian politics. We can barely feed our people." He said
"Of course Mein Kaiser"
"Herr Kullmann, what news from Svarlbad?" The MP stood up coolly and spoke
"We know he is in the city, and we have a rough approximation of his location, should have more specifics within 4 days Mein Kaiser"
"Excellent, keep up the good work, but don't be to aggressive, we don't want the Reich antagonized." Kullmann nodded and sat down.
"Now gentlemen, we all know we are in dire need of assistance. The majority of the Empire is fine but Berlin is struggling, food shortages are rampant and there is barely enough for the West part of the Empire and damn little for Berlin. So. We must appeal to someone for help, the Americans and British tried with moderate success, do you think we could call upon the French?"
The MPs thought for a moment, the MP Weiss stood up
"In my mind their is no harm in asking Mein Kaiser" the others grunted in affirmation.
"Well I shall have a letter drafted immediately. That is all for today Mein Herren" with that he stood and after the proper bowing and such of politics left for his office. He had Karina, his secretary, draft the following letter:To the Government of the Honorable Country of France,

To the Honorable Emire of Germany and Kaiser Wilhem the 3rd,
It would be an honor to cooperate with your nation. We're willing to aid in feeding and providing for Germany, especially as we rebuild our military and economy. Our demands are that you agree to form a cooperative military and trade alliance with France. Financial compensation will not be necessary. It is in the best interest of our two nations to maintain a stable and peaceful Europe. As threats rise around the world, it is a necessity now more than ever to have an ally.

On behalf of the Dear Leader and de El Partido Comunista Mexicano we will gladly comply, we will even allow the establishment of military bases within our borders, we would also like some technicians to better extract the oil in the gulf of Mexico because currently Pemex is having some problems reestablishing a constant stream of oil. Of course the USSR can acquire our natural resources with priority.
Next a small paragraph written by El Querido Líder:
"Fellow comrades I feel like formalizing a mutual Defence pact would be beneficial for the two of us, we will allow the entering of Soviet troops and personnel to Mexico."
As the Dear Leader said your nation also gets military access.
