Well I'm against free trade or open borders but I support national militaries being superceded by defensive regional ones and international agreements on things like climate change so it depends what questions get asked.

The test is inaccurate at determining how extreme one's views are. I've given the Political Compass test to moderate US Democrats who scored as more extreme than me despite me being an actual socialist, and it's likely that the 8values test has similar issues.

On the other hand, there are people who will strongly agree with a communist on every point of communist theory right up until they say the word "Communism." Some people who are relatively politically apathetic don't realize exactly how extreme their views are.

If everything is controlled from the centre then that can mean that many regions and localities are disadvantaged both in resources and because the centre is usually city-based and doesn't understand rural and town life.
