I mean, I was making things up, but given that the internet is a big place it makes sense that there would be unironic supporters of all of these ideologies.

So when the Governor preempts all radio stations and TV stations for an announcement and says "folks, we have this situation (explain briefly). we're closing schools and restaurants. drive throughs will be open. try to avoid each other for a bit and don't be assholes, and we'll get through this k?" most of the population goes "okie dokie. that sounds reasonable. sucks, but we get it."

But.... they don't abuse the privilege. It only comes up literally in times of crisis, so people listen.
