North Quadana 1-1 Sandhora
Pasterkamp '73
Goalscorer for Sandhora '56

It is the first international showing at the CMFA Cup for the North Quadana National Team, and it has ended in a draw with Sandhora. The Quadanese definitely have some food for thought after this game, as a superb goal from Jeroen Pasterkamp salvaged the Quadanese a point.

The game started off with the Quadanese team looking convincing, and outdoing their Sandhoran counterparts, which lead to an Oliver Dhondt goal in the 17th minute which was disallowed due to him being offside. After this call from the referee, it all went downhill, as the Sandhoran side started going on the attack more and more, and the only thing saving Quadana was Marteen Hazenkamp's heroic saves, and the first half saw no goals scored by either side. Coming out of the half, the Quadanese seemed to have regained control, and the match looked even, when in the 56th minute, Sandhora scored after an unlucky deflection off Zeroen Endemans' foot made the ball bounce right in front of a Sandhoran striker who put it in from 3 yards out.

After conceding, manager Jonas Hellink switched up the formation to 4-3-2-1, and subbed on Jeroen Pasterkamp who put North Quadana level after a Westerwaard pass put him right on the edge of the penalty box, as he put a screamer in the top corner.

A draw in this match is pretty much a Quadanese victory, who know look to their match against the host nation, Soracana Islands. North Quadana needs a draw or a win to continue their campaign in the Melayu Cup, while Sandhora will just have to wait and see how the next match unfolds.

User50698391’s Foreigner Guide to the Havyish Election

Hi.

Look.

Havynwilde = election.

Look below.

Look around the streets of Bellymn and you see scenes of a city campaign poster after campaign poster after campaign poster. The city’s decorated as the nation’s political parties prepare to have 2.6 million people converge on poling stations throughout the nation to elect Havynwilde next Førsteminister.

Puts it one resident, “this is the most important election in Havynwilde’s history since the Calacut War.”

Another, “We’ve got a lot on the lines ahead of this election, Havynwilde’s three main political parties will be looking to take the spoils for another seven years.”

However here’s the catch, this is Havynwilde’s fourth election in the past six years, many believe the unpopular Førsteminister Wilheim Dursley is counting on a crippled transportation system - given the worst winter season in Havynwilde in sixty-three years - to keep people home for this (latest) election cycle. Dursley’s facing critiscm for reported tax evasion which was recorded in the Pemecutan Papers, a paper published by a Havyish whistleblower kept abroad.

The country’s residents are expecting to receive outpourings of leaflets in the three weeks leading up to the general election; with the entire nation courting winter storms, polling is expected to be slow and with long lines as people bring out their mugs and begin to hit the campaign trail.

For Dursley, he’ll be looking to regain his strong base of support in the liberal regions of Hvalltr and Groenland; he won two years ago on a UNITY platform which was formed between a coalition of three now-deceased parties.

But something rings different this election cycle, it’s about more than a Førsteminister, it’s certainly much bigger than parties; it’s about determining the future of the country.

For some foreign viewers, the question is probably, why is an election happening right now? And so soon after the last one?

This answer lies in former Førsteminister.Kingsley Durmont, his gamble on holding snap elections to bring in a far-right party into his coalition failed miserably; resulting in strong backlash from the centrist and left parts of the nation, stemming from Durmont’s promotion of the long-debated “Greater Havyrish Sphere.” In the wave of the rampant defeat of Durmont, Durmont saw his career in shambles and has since supposedly fled Havynwilde and moved to Baranil where he may espouse his far-right ideology alongside a government who supports...that kind of think.

Thanks to this, the stage was set to record Wilheim Dursley’s election victory, his coalition came through, cruising to win 59% of the popular vote and establishing a huge majority in the Nordforsamling. But, in the case of Dursley, new antics have come to light, brought to you by the National Restoration Committee accusing Dursley of defrauding the HAvyish government of N$1.3 billion dollars, held in offshore deposits in the Sorocana Islands and supposedly Ziwana.

Facing being stuck in a hung Nordforsamling for another five years, Dursley finally conceded to calls for a new set of elections; setting up what’s going to be the most-controversial, most interesting election in the past...two years.

In Havynwilde, the voters don’t choose the Førsteminister, they instead vote for a party on a ballot; the party then amongst themselves chooses the actually Førsteminister. Yes, this has caused a fair share of controversy in the many years Havynwilde’s been a nation, mostly centered on the fact elections for Members of Nordforsamling are completely separate and another beat entirely. Its important to realize, a split Nordforsamling can be created - i.e. a completely different Nordforsamling makeup and constituency compared to the chosen Førsteminister - and it’s happened quite a few times in Havynwilde’s history.

Clearly, Dursley believes he’ll win, his campaigning has been rather lackluster and was over-shined by thee other parties all too small for us to name, but given the political landscape we think its a fair bet to say this can be anyone’s election.

PAGE 31 :: HFF-LygaHaven Meetings Provide Answers on the Future of Havyish Football

Following large-scale failures at an international scale to bring in talent, members of the LHF LygaHaven Board of Directors sat with representatives from the Havyish Fooligbol Federation and olympic members to decide Havynwilde’s best foot forward moving forth in international football.

All seven clbus of the top flight were present at the meeting, the first time that the tpl flight had changed in its storied history; this change brought with it one of the most ground-breaking movements in recent history.

However, big clubs felt they’d been attacked; one LygaHaven club declared the changes “underwhelming” and “unneeded”; others, such as Bellymn United welcomed it as “a clear way to level to playing field for the wonderful sport in Havynwilde.”

The changes produced have been labeled as ground-breaking, bringing forth new changes that the league and the nation will be keen to embrace (supposedly); the main departure signals an end to the requirement for the top flight to be fully professionalized in any sense: this is seen as a move to open the top flight to the presence of more clubs and possible expansion.

“The LygaHaven sees itself expanding in the future to become and even more-inclusive league for the Havyish people,” said a spokesperson, speaking with The Associated. “We want the league to reflect the people of Havynwilde, that’s all sports is: a reflection of ourselves, and we believe a change such as this paves the groundwork for groundbreaking changes to the way football in this country is directed.”

Added another, “LygaHaven is making the required adjustments to suit our audience better, we’re prepared to go as far as possible to bring to the Havyish people a league that they can proudly call theirs!”

This was similarly echoed in a follow up announcement: Havynwilde would slowly be cutting down the alotted number of foreign players in LygaHaven, beginning in two seasons the maximum cap is to be three foreigners at any given time, per team; included, Serien-Two and below were only allowed two foreigners on a squad.

“If there’s anyway to promoted Havyish youth products, this is the way,” said a fan supporter of Foretham Coven, “Foretham’s always been big at trusting in the youth, now, with a premium on developing talent, Havynwilde can become known as an exporter of youth to the world’s stage.”

That seems to be the line LygaHaven and the HFF is going for, the HFF doubled down by pouring N$250 million into the LHF LygaHaven’s various youth academies; on the other hand, around the league, Avante Leipreachán announced a new N$30 million, state-of-the-art youth facility for its Uvenlyga side. More famously, Yivix-Belaj Ivo, manager of Baywall Athletic has touted youth as reason for its success with the Pirates in leading them to a championship.

“Don’t think of it as a ban on foreigners,” said HFF President, Kerry Duddard, “Its a message to our teams to successfully look to develop domestic talent, we want tot take a chance to reassess what we have here and build something domestically. Youth can succeed here, we have multiple examples-look at Biβmeier with Avante - she’s seventeen and already worth N$10 million through development. There’s Sutherland, the Shamrocks sent him to Cathair and he’s become a star at only 21. Havynwilde is the testing grounds for future talents and that’s how we want it to be.”

Turning to another topic, the HFF finally announced, the LygaHaven would heavily discourage foreign transfers (not counting free transfers) for players overs 22: “We want to promote domestic rising talent and we want to work with the domestic football scene to create our own stars,” said the organization. The HFF will be implementing taxation of 65% interest on top of what Havyish clubs paid for foreign players over 22 which will be paid to the HFF and be distributed for youth organization; “Our goal is to develop youth through these broad policies, and we believe they have the chance of being effective and bringing change to the LygaHaven and the national team alike,” said a spokesperson.

For some clubs this will hit hard, a look around Havynwilde’s domestic league shows why.

In Bellymn, the Shamrocks spend N$13 million last season to bring in a boatload of foreign talent - under he HFF’s new rules, they’ll bee required to pay N$8.45 million on top of that next season as the requirements for the HFF’s redistribution plan.

Big teams such as the Shamrocks and Union Forge have come out against this plan (a once-in-a-lifetime event), but, the remaining five clubs in the top league all made their voices known: this was the plan that they’d been looking for for a long time.

Continuing, the final and most comprehensive step towards the development of talent, Havynwilde’s FF will require Havyish teams two contain contracts for a maximum of two designated players - that is foreign players costing more than N$3 million a season - these players will not count towards the contract maximum amoutns and will only be sued towards foreign players as a way to promote domestic footballers and youth.

Youth players are to see an increase at the Uvenlyga level, now being required to play more games and will receive stronger training regimen: the focus being signing for the senior clubs once they turn seventeen or eighteen. Havyish teams will be required to sign a minimum of six youth players from a Havyish academy per three seasons and those who don’t will face sharp penalization from the HFF in the face of fines ranging from N$3 to N$10 million, all of which will be poured into domestic talent and youth development.

This part of phase one will be helped along by the HFF - realizing some clubs do not have the funds or capacity to stick to these strict guidelines, it will assist in creating the infrastructure needed - in Bellymn, Bellymn United’s club grounds will see an N$23 million structure go up for the development of youth in the nation. Youth is a top priority for the Havyish fooligbol scene, they are a key to qualifying for Havynwilde’s first World Cup by 770.

This new plan will have comprehensive impacts on the Havyish football, titled titled Projekt 770, it’s an ambitious plan to do two things: a) send Havynwilde to the World Cup, b) win the World Cup. Put into motion with the first phase, its supposed to be divided into four phases to bring Havynwilde to the promised land.

CMFA Melayu Cup MD1: Sharktail 1 - 0 Havynwilde
Goals:
Starting XI (4-3-1-2): Nolans; Courtwood, Harris, Kal (c) Ruderby; Baird, Sutherland, Welsh; Houston; Cook, Davis.

Projected Lineup vs. Xannerian AO Territory: Connelly; Courtwood, Harris, Kal (c) Ruderby; Baird, Sutherland, Welsh; Houston; Cook, Grondt.

Shock Loss to Sharktail!

Two changes to are made to the Nordslaget ahead of a must win encounter with Ziwana - the regional heavyweight - a frustrating match against Sharktail means Havynwilde will need to put two or more past Ziwana to ensure a passage to the next round, “We’ve got to put out our all for this one,” said Ashton Houston with the media during the offday.

Shane Newman’s been seen with his players, directing drills and even participating in the drills with his players. When asked about his relaxed position, “They have enough pressure as it, they know the position they’re in. There is no need for me to compound to that and further worsen it, I am sure the Havyish team can work themselves out of this hole.”

Even so, pundits and critics alike are quick to criticize him, “he’s in a fairy tale,” said one, “a compete disgrace to the national team, he’s not fit to manage us. If we can’t beat Sharktail, how do we expect to win the tournament!”

HBC Sports had this to say, “It was a terrible performance from a terribly picked national team, this is proof in the pudding that foreign players don’t translate to success for the national team.”

However, come tomorrow, if Havynwilde puts it together for the victory, and gets the needed goal differential, they’ll be thinking different, says captain, Zenon-Gerol Kal.

“We need everyone out in full force, we need them out in droves, all the support we can get will be needed and more. Turn your televisions to HBC Sports, make sure you’re there to watch us, because we won’t be able to do it without you-all.”

Jean Wilder goals inspire stunning win against Sharktail.

ZCOMM Sport in Ruacalu, Soracana Islands

The first game for a national team is always important. Even though Ziwana and Sharktail are on different levels in the football world, the Ziwani national team manager, Harry Ngonamo did not take any chances. He played a strong first eleven to face Sharktail. This much was a must win much, bottling this much was not an option. Strong players and fun favourites like Jean Kane, Jean Wilder, Charles Payen, Boi, Ah Fok and Abdulaziz Haqawi were featured for this game. 21,567 Ziwani funs also travelled to Ruacalu to support their beloved Akambuku and enjoy their 'umodzi, umodzi' football. The Ruacalu Mayor also graced the match with his presence.

The stadium was alive with Ziwani funs dancing, singing and beating on drums to intimidate Sharktail players, the Sharktail funs did not wanting to be upstaged song at the top of their lungs praising their players. Both sets of players were however unphased by the funs and played their game well. Whilst the Ziwani team passed the ball around looking for space, the Shartail team focused on pressuring the Akambuku players. The pressuring of Ziwani players paid off for Shartail. Around the 17th minute, pressure from Shartail left midfielder Chandra forced Ziwani Vice Captain, Charles Payen to attempt to pass the ball to Luis Albert but right midfielder Azmer Ishak intercepted the ball. Ishak went on to make a run on the left, nutmegging Ziwani leftback Ah Fok before crossing it into the penalty box for Sharktail striker, Gaby to head it in past the Ziwani keeper. The goal silenced the Ziwani funs as Sharktail players and funs celebrated the goal. The Sharktail players got more confident holding the Ziwani forwards and midfield at bay, however this did not last for long. During a counter attack on the right flank, Aziz Haqawi crossed the ball to debutant Joseph Kawoa who controlled the ball with his chest before shooting the ball from 40 yards out past the Sharktail keeper to equalize. The equalizer greatly demoralized the Shartail players and Ziwani midfielders danced around the Sharktail defence, with Charles Payen scoring a goal in the 42nd minute but it was ruled as an offside. The first half ended 1-1 with Ziwana attacking and Shartail trying to defend by playing with a medium defensive line to allow them to catch Ziwani strikers in the offside trap.

After the first half break both teams played attacking football, putting pressure on each other and utilizing the wings. However this was a mistake on Sharktails end as Ziwani pace and class was no much for them. During a Ziwani corner kick taken by Jonathan Boi, Haqawi got the ball and shot it at the goal but Sharktail keeper pushed it out unto Issa Swedi who was immediately pressured by Sharktail defence, however he kept his cool and passed it to Jean Wilder who chipped the ball over Garby and the goal keeper to put Ziwana 2 up. Shartail funs became silent and the players lost their confidence. This allowed Ziwana to take advantage to score another goal in the 73rd minute. Abdulaziz Haqawi stretched the Sharktail defence before dribbling through them and crossing it to Jean Wilder who dribbled through the keeper and walked the ball into the net. Jean Wilder's cheeky 3rd goal had Ziwani funs jumping up and down as some threw their beer up in the air. After the 3rd goal, Ziwana packed the bus, however this led to a foul on Sharktail substitute Syah who took a penalty to give Sharktail a consolation goal. The Shartail players were rejuvenated by this goal but it was too late. The match ended 3-2, with the Sharktail squad looking dejected. The highlight at the end of the match was Jean Wilder comforting 15 year old Albert who had committed the foul on Syah. Several online commenters noted that Syah had dived.

After the game, Harry Ngonamo praised his players and the Sharktail team for giving the Akambuku a tough game. Ziwana's next match is against the ambitious Havynwilde on saturday. To watch the game tune in on saturday by visiting http://www.zcommsports.com and clicking on zplayer to watch the match.
