THE EMPIRE OF TAMRIEL EMBASSY PROGRAMME
Esteemed world leaders,
the Emperor of Tamriel has decided to open our country to the world a bit more, by creating an embassy programme. We are looking forward to establishing formal relations with countries that share our ideals of pacific co-existence.
The Embassy Programme is managed by the Department of Embassies and Foreign Tamrielian Bodies of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with the Office of Diplomatic Affairs of Emperor's Secretariat. Their role is creating and mantaining diplomatic missions with States interested in having formal relations with the Empire.
The Department also provides for a dignitous and appropriate living for ambassadors on diplomatic missions in our country, ensuring that they have a comfortable stay while doing their jobs. More informations about it are in the "Regulations" section.
Any interested Government is free to fill the form below and send it; be mindful that only applications complying with our "Regulations" section will be considered/accepted.

Empire of Tamriel
A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Empire of Tamriel established from 5 former States (the former Tamrielic Empire, the Aldmeri Dominion, the Argonian State, State of Anaquina, State of Pellitine) on 01/01/5E-40 (which, in international time format dd/mm/yyyy, is 01/01/2000), after a long war and a following revolution.
Despite the continent having a history of highly different peoples living not always peacefully with each other, the so-called Last War and Last Revolution managed to convince even the most conservative groups to choose a peaceful co-existence under one State (the current Empire) and get rid of prejudices, that played an important role in the outbreak of the Last War.
The consequential serene period that followed helped the development of science, medicine, and technology, which, in an exceptionally fast time, reached post-modern levels.
The result is a State that, despite being led by an Emperor, is democratic and based on freedom and welfare of its citizens, and doesn't interfere with other countries' affairs (and doesn't appreciate other countries' interferences with internal policies)
REGULATIONS
Some conditions have to be met in order to have an application to our E.P. accepted.
1. The applying State accepts that a formal relation is being established with the Empire of Tamriel. This is only possible with States with friendly or neutral relations with the Empire; countries in war with Tamriel are immediately refused, unless the application is accompanied by a request of armistice.
2. Ambassadors in Tamriel shall be assigned an appropriate embassy/consulate, which, despite remaining property of the Supreme Council of the Empire and under jurisdiction of the competent Court, are to be afforded special territorial privileges; the Ambassador may display their country's flags, coat of arms, seals, etc.; the same applies for their vehicles, whether they are owned by their country's government or leased, in addition to the special plates issued by the Ministry.
3. Ambassadors in Tamriel will be expected to behave correctly, observe courtesy, mantain discipline, and respect laws.
4. Tamrielian ambassadors/staff members that commit crimes in the affiliate State's territory shall be extradited and tried in Tamriel's Courts.
We accept a tolerance for crimes with less than 2 years of imprisonment in the maximum (which means that lighter crimes/civil conflicts may be tried by the applying country), as long as penalties do not contrast with Tamriel's Constitution.
We require the applying State to adopt the same policy and try ambassadors that commit crime in Tamriel in its own Courts.
Alternative conditions may be requested and agreed by specifying it in the "Other requests" section of the form.
5. The allowed maximum number of Ambassador's staff is 100, of which the allowed maximum for security staff is 30. The allowed maximum for Consulates is 80, of which the allowed maximum of security staff is 20.
Ambassadors' families are not included in the count.
Alternative conditions may be requested and agreed by specifying it in the "Other requests" section of the form.
6. The ambassador's armed staff cannot carry more than:
- n. 1 rifle;
- n. 1 pistol;
- n. 1 knife;
- n. 1 taser;
- n. 1 pepper spray.
Traditional/ceremonial weaponry is not included.
Explosives, armed vehicles, and high caliber weapons are prohibited.
The abovementioned weaponry will need a permit issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
7. Only applications from countries whose principles, laws, and acts are not in contrast with Tamriel's Constitution (with little derogations possible) will be taken into account.
8. The violation of one or more of the abovementioned conditions, hostile acts towards Tamriel coming from the applying country, et similia, will likely result in the interruption of the diplomatic mission.
9. The applying State may establish ONE embassy in the Empire, in any of the capital cities of Tamrielian Provinces: Imperial City (capital city of the Empire), Daggerfall, Solitude, Rimmen, Mournhold, Falinesti, Alinor, Helstrom, Sentinel.
Furthermore, it is allowed to establish Consulates in the remaining cities.
