[Proposed] Condemn Kuriko

Postby Loconianiccurelliver » Mon Apr 06, 2020 8:32 am

I wrote this in response to what I see as rigging in the GenSec election. I can't submit it but maybe someone with more endorsements will submit it out of the goodness of their hearts.
here it is

This Security Council;

Recognizes the actions of Kuriko during the recent World Assembly Secretary General election

Is Aware of the power that the position of Secretary General Holds

Appalled by the fact that a nation would coordinate other nations to keep the nation of Jocospor from the general election

Believing that such corrupt actions should be grounds for condemnation

Hereby condemns Kuriko
Original
The security council being the organ of the world assembly responsible for condemning and with that, punishing nations and regions for corrupt and deplorable actions no matter the background or position of influence within the World Assembly and World;

Is Aware of actions taken by Kuriko against the nation of Jocospor during the recent General Secretary election

Is Also Aware that the position of General Secretary holds immense power within this organization

Appalled by the fact that a nation would coordinate an attempt to keep another nation out of the final general election thereby falsely representing peoples opinions in the general election

Further Appalled by Kuriko’s telegrams to other nations requesting that they redistribute their votes for the other candidates of Valentine Z, McMasterdonia, and Caelapes in order to keep Jocospor out of the Final general election round.

Hereby Condemns the nation of Kuriko

The CFR Kaltovar would humbly suggest that this is a stupid idea.

Don’t need to, I’ve already seen it.
Again, it’s nothing illegal.

Firstly if you want to Condemn someone get the necessary endorsements and submit it yourself - nobody is going to do it for you.

Secondly, don’t bother: your draft is not particularly good.

Then even if it is "illegal" the security council at least upholds a threshold of morality

I'm also amused by this. Nothing wrong with politicking in this fashion. And no one was trying to hide or mask any of this activity, so very transparent as well! Any election that's set up in this fashion is going to have such tactics used and I'm not sure what makes any of this immoral.

Did you guys literally write a dispatch that, in the end, equates "strategic voting" to "rigging"?

Oh, this is hilarious.

If that dispatch you're using to support this draft is anything to go by, we should actually be commending Kuriko instead. Horrible idea, maybe, but deserved.

I have a master factbook here. But you probably shouldn't read it...

I just think it is appalling that people would rather elect some lesbian catgirl nation as SecGen than Jocospor who actually wanted to do things.

This, along with your non-stop telegram spam - courtesy of Jocospor - is why people who don't even particularly get involved in SC/GA affairs dislike you lot. Just a heads-up.
