About Force

Force was founded on January 30, 2017 by Renegalle, Founder and Emperor, and has since grown to become The Union of Force and its Territories. The region, now at more than 150 nations, is ever-growing and ever-changing, with every input and idea as valuable as the last. With the region now with its third Constitution, a dozen Amendments and twice as many Bills, having had six Prime Ministers over the course of ten terms, the region is at an all-time high thanks to the people over the years who have made it what it is today, but there is so much more room for improvement and development, and every person is truly valuable, so if you'd like to join our journey, Force has its arms open for your warm welcome.

Hey Force! I'm your host Azerubia and welcome to the eighth edition of the Union Weekly Recap. Before we start, the Union government would like to remind you to stay safe out there during the pandemic and to remember washing your hands. Anyway, here we go:

By Communications

• On the 1st of April, the Union Church was created and New Legland was sacred Pontifex Maximus. On the same day, crabs started invading Force and even though at first, they seemed to follow the Pontifex Maximus’s orders they rapidly started revolting and plunged Force into chaos until the end of the day when they disappeared without a word, never to be seen again. The Union Church was also dissolved on the same day.

• The March Edition of the Force Flyer has now been released and you should totally check it out. I’m totally not saying this cause I’m the one who made it.

• Salibaic won the second Prime Ministerial preference poll by beating New Legland 13 votes to 5.

• Candidacies for the new Prime Minister, House and Emergency Court Elections have now all been received and the elections should start soon.

• The Force Prime Minister, Lashnakia, spoke to the region concerning the current events in a new statement released this Saturday.

• The debate for the Prime Minister, House, and Emergency Justice elections is currently ongoing on the Force forum.

That's a bummer. I tried to balance the fonts with the table opposite and I ineffectively formatted it on my phone. I had a problem with the sizing since a normal 100 would become massive the more text I typed

I'll try to fix the formatting on a laptop as soon as I can, my apologies in advance :v thank you very much for letting me know, though

Edit: I think I've fixed it :0 I've tried to make it as attractive on mobile as it is on PC

Hello to all you rabbits of Force! It’s me, Bunny Azerubia here to fill your basket with news in this ninth edition of the Union Weekly Recap. I want to wish happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it and even if you don’t, you still deserve a chocolate egg from me. Let’s just jump into it:

- Force has now a totally new Forum Thread in which people can now talk about our wonderful region. If you want to hop in, here’s the link: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=483046

- After a citizens vote, Amendment 13 has passed and will be amended to the Constitution. You can find it here: https://forcens.com/index.php/topic,354.0.html

- Salibaic has secured his second term as Prime Minister by beating New Legland 14 votes to 6. All runners for a House seat have been elected. Congrats to Libertatis Regalis, Lotria, Lashnakia and Western Chosetus for the Force seats and congrats to Empire of Elysium and A place where furries are for winning the Heart seats. In the election for the last remaining Justice, The Caminoes beat Tigslarlowducken 9 votes to 5. The official results can be found here: https://forcens.com/index.php/topic,363.15.html

- The Cabinet has changed, New Legland has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister while Sumeka, Loomburg and Alemputo have been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Culture and Head of the RP Committee respectively. Caduceo and Azerubia have kept their position as Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications while the WA Committee has been disbanded by Salibaic.

- Just after the election, Salibaic released his terms goals. His goals will be to make the government more transparent, improve its communications, set a plan the help the Territories and raise the population of the Capital and the Union.

- Following a new executive action made by the newly elected Prime Minister, Salibaic. All Ministries channels except on the Force Discord can now be seen by citizens so if you wanna see me shout at people for not doing their articles, you now can!

Hello there. General Azerubia here for the tenth, yes tenth, edition of the Union Weekly Recap. I hope everyone is safe out here during these trying times, but here is some news to take your mind of the current events. Anyway, here we go:

- Submissions for the First Emoji Contest of Force have now all been accepted and the voting stage has started. People of Force can now vote here! The winner of the contest will be added to the Force discord’s emojis.

- With no opposition, Marcelli has been elected Chief Justice receiving the favours of the two other Justices.

- After being elected Prime Minister of Force, Salibaic/The Scottish Republic has resigned as First Minister of Heart and has called an election to decide of his successor. Candidacies announcements are still ongoing in the Heart discord and RMB, with Empire of Elysium and A Place Where Furries Are being the two current candidates.

- The government of the Union would like to kindly remind you that if you can join the World Assembly but haven’t yet, to do it now since it will help the region on the international stage. A reminder that you can only have one WA nation or you will be expelled from it and don’t forget to endorse our delegate.

- The Force House of Representatives has commended Caduceo for his incredible work has Minister of Internal Affairs.

- After some complaints, another new government research poll has been released. This new one is more complete, with more options to answer with. You can find it here

- The Marist Federated States have been annexed and have become a Province of the Union.

Hello Force it’s me Azerubia! Here again for the eleventh edition of the Union Weekly Recap. This week was full of contests but also pretty normal in terms of news and so let’s not take to much time to introduce it and just jump into the information. Here we go:

- Elections are currently happening in Heart, citizens of the region are currently going to the polls to vote for either Empire of Elysium, A Place Where Furries Are or New Bolivaristan for First Minister.

- Following the current political reform started by the dissolution of the New Force Party, House Bill 33 will soon be voted on and could drastically change the politics of the Union.

- From the ashes of the New Force Party, The Democratic People’s Party and the Force Unity Party have been created. You can check them by going through these links: Democratic People's Party and Force Unity Party. The DPP’s manifesto can be found here.

- The emoji Hugh White made by Greatest Elysium has defeated Caduceo’s Gavin to become the new Force discord emoji. You can see the whole contest here.

- Lotria’s submitted flag has won the Lashnakia flag contest and has now become the new official flag of Lashnakia. Atharia’s and United Nations of Colombia’s flags finished second and third of the contest respectively. You can see all the submissions here.

- Amendment 14 and 16 to the Force constitution are currently being voted on.

That statement raises a lot of questions. A. Why did you name the victims, did you ask them beforehand if they were okay with being named?
B. Why were the embed pictures of one of the victim's house not also blurred?
C. Why did this take so long, your reasoning in the doc just doesn't cut it I'm afraid. "establishing a special moderation committee, establishing a formal complaint commission" This is basic moderation standards, this is the bare minimum, this is what you should have been doing from day 1. A separate moderation team and a way of making complaints is stuff that every region has to have from the day its founded. I very much hope you have begged for forgiveness from the victims after your gross incompetence allowed this to continue for 2 years without action and resulted in a situation where RL legal proceedings are probably a necessity for the victim's families. What specifically are you all going to do to resolve this and make sure such an occurrence can never happen again in your community, and I'm questioning for things other than vague "looking into"s and "potentially" doing things.

Yeah, reading this I also had many of the same concerns others had voiced.

You edited some of the screenshots, but some of them weren't edited well and some of the blurs you put on peoples information could probably be read through if someone wanted to do so badly enough. You also didn't blur/cover some information that people provided to you before sharing it out with the entire NationStates community; effectively doxxing those people yourself.

I'm glad that you acted but... two years? How long had it gone on before administration in the region became aware of it, is this something you just learned about or is this something that you've known about and allowed to continue? I know you apologize for your slowness... but exactly how slow was your response?

A lot of the stuff in there is horrifying to read; and it breaks my heart and infuriates me that someone was put in this position and nobody did anything to stop it.

I have removed 3 posts from this thread. One is a news post by Azerubia that includes a link to a google doc with allegations of serious harassment, naming the alleged perpatrator. The other two are posts by LollerLand and Aynia Moreaux whose posts, while otherwise OK, quote the link to that document.

I'll quote the rules:

Accusations of misconduct that may bring real world repercussions outside of NationStates do not belong in public spaces on NationStates and will be punished as harassment. Players may post, in general terms, about factual repercussions taken in response (I.e. removal from a region or regional position), but may not go into details or link to material that does.

Azerubia you were warned previously for posting these allegations on your region's RMB and clearly told "Warned for accusing Libertalis Regalis publicly of criminal activity. Those accusations should be made to site staff only."

As this is a serious offence, and you have disregarded the prior warning I am handing out a *** 3 day forumban ***. Do not re-post the links to that document anywhere on NationStates. I've just noticed you posted it in a dispatch too. If this keeps up, you will lose your nation.
