Just got the same issue with the exact same options. I can confirm these are 1,2,4,5.
Additionally, I also got "Dr. Bill Harford" and "Berger Harrison", so those might not be random names.

The Issue

A former member of your cabinet has just been executed for masterminding a plot to assassinate you and take power. While most are now satisfied that the threat has been dealt with, one particularly paranoid adviser has raised the issue of the deceased’s family.

The Debate

1. “These scoundrels are tainted by the crime of their kin,” says one of your fervently loyal ministers, as @@HE@@ shows you information on the family along with their pictures. “Treachery runs in their blood and we must rip it out, root and stem. The only solution is to execute the entire family as well. If you don’t, they will rise up and destroy us in revenge for what we did... It’s better to be safe than sorry.”

2. “I think executing them is a little bit extreme,” counters your sister as she looks over the documents of the family. “If you’re really that worried about them, you could always just put them in prison. It’s more humane and it keeps potential threats out of the way.”

3. “Come on, what century are we living in?” inquires your niece as she gently brushes your hair with a pink My Little Horsey hairbrush. “Show some mercy and let them know that they are safe under your regime. This will show you as a merciful and compassionate ruler, and leniency may very well inspire loyalty in them. I’m sure this will alleviate any bitterness they feel about their loved one being killed.”

4. “I’m not too sure about just letting them carry on with things as normal,” says your perpetually suspicious Secret Police Chief. “Let them think they are in your good books, but keep a close eye on them for the rest of their lives. Constant surveillance will make sure they don’t get up to anything seditious.”

Edit: I found option 2. It appears to be only for nations that allow prisons, as additional option to killing them.

Thank you very much for the transfer and entrusting me with the ownership of this thread! I will continue to do what Jutsa has done, along with whoever might be in the past.

I am indeed aware that I have not been... active on the Got Issues side of things lately! However, rest assured that given my activity here and my frequency of visiting this site, I will be more than happy to devote more of my time here without having negative impacts on anywhere else.

I can only hope that I will do as good as Jutsa, or whoever that had maintained the thread in the past. It will be extremely huge shoes to fill, but I can and will try my best.

Yep... Nuremgard does not draft publicly (at least on this forum, maybe some regional or private), so it's hard for us to figure out the things we don't find ourselves.

I have added from 1303 to 1307 for the time being, but I stopped for here after realising that there are quite a lot of uncertainties with macros.

I'm not very certain about the workflow involved, but I would see if I can add them to the master list first, and then making the relevant changes. I feel that it will be easier to edit on the master list as it would be deemed as the "latest" edit.

Right, about the name macros... mostly names are either gender, best check Trotterdam's or my reports since we care for such things, others ... often not so much. E.g. in #1307 the parent can be either gender but all I can tell from reports and own observations, the kid is always a son.

Also, since there hundreds of them it's hard for anyone to "confirm" them as you might imagine. Jutsa last reported some changes incorporated from page 248 (see above), first spoiler-list. Anything newer than that would not have been added/changed to the big list.

About drafts: They are a good comparison for the report, but once the version after the editorial process has been posted here, do not rely on names, genders etc. from the draft. They may have been changed.

I'd like to congratulate Valentine for taking over as listkeeper! I admit it's a bit weird, having done this for a fair bit of time
(feels like more time because time has slowed down to half its normal speed since I started working a year ago),
and not seeing my name on the posts and not having to think about "oh gosh there're like a dozen more issues to add aaaaaaa!"

Admittedly I'm a little sad, mostly because I had publicly stated I'd try to get the whole list updated before the switchover,
but in the end, 1) TalAkMaChen is a wonderful person that bombarded me with about five times more content then I ever thought I'd see and
2) I mean I guess I did do all of the posts from 2019 which was my original goal anyways.
ed: 3) Also like now Valentine Z has something to do rather than just staring at an empty list so I guess it works out. :›

And yeah, this change wasn't exactly one I waaaaanted, per se? But I think it'll do both me and the community good,
and I'll admit that I don't think I'll miss doing it.

Not to disappoint you, TalAkMaChen; I'm sure you'd have done well too. And Trot, though as far as I recall you'dn't have wanted it anyhoo.
But it wasn't really my decision, and honestly I'm quite happy to see Valentine in charge of it, myself. I'm sure he'll do an excellent job.

Anyhow, this won't exactly be my farewell from nationstates, just as listkeeper. I'll still poke my head around, maybe work on some of those issues I have up,
or report a new one, or something. But I'll admit I still won't be nearly as active as I used to be. At least not for a while.
