[DRAFT] Baby Pictures

Postby Carravere » Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:40 am

[The Issue] A recent lawsuit involving a parent and pictures they posted of their nude, newborn baby has recently crossed your desk.

[The Debate]
Option 1: "It's @@his@@ child, for @@leadername@@'s sake!", @@randomname@@, the parent in question's lawyer, exclaims. "Parents, and parents alone, should have the right to take and share any pictures of their children!"

Option 2: "Why does it matter that people are taking pictures of other people in their natural state?", nudist @@randomname@@ asks you, sporting nothing but a thin scarf as you shield your eyes. "Clothes oppress our bodies! Free them! And take a few pictures along the way, why not?"

Option 3: "This is child pornography in its worst state!", an angry protestor tells you, speaking to you via video chat, not that you can see @@him@@ because of his taped-over computor camera. "You shouldn't let anyone- anyone, no matter their relation to the victim- take pictures, especially share pictures, of any nude children!"

[Results]
Option 1: You can find nude pictures on any Family Photo site.

Option 2: Clothing stores shut down as nudists take to the streets.

Option 3: Parents are rarely allowed to take pictures of their children.

This implies they are naked most of the time, which will not be the case.

OP, I recommend bouncing ideas off of colleagues in The Writers’ Block. That way you can avoid overlap in the future.

Seems you've done it again mate. :)

I highly recommend you do the above.

You obviously have good writing skills, the only thing you're lacking is an original idea!

Bounce some ideas around in the Writers' Block first, then we can all help you to draft a submittable issue.

Aussie, why do you reply to threads without reading them first? Isn't it sensible to check whether the points you're going to make have been duplicated or whether -- as is the case here -- your comments are redundant?

Candensia is right in pointing out the overlap, unfortunately this issue can't proceed.
