Nice. I’ve heard about a number of folks making plans to return to Zim in the past two years and the optimism there is pretty encouraging.

My dogs are finally getting along. I got two new puppies and brought them back from Rochester in mid February and at first our older dog Skye didn't like them and was scared to go near them, but recently Skye and Luna became friends and now Skye will play with Luna and let her jump on her back.

Skye and Lilah are...civil. Lilah is kind of nervous around Skye and Skye can't read Lilah so they just look at each other but keep their distance. Luna was always the more friendly and cuddly dog anyhow though whereas Lilah is a fighter and not a lover.

Saturday night I gave a stranded Buddhist monk a ride back to his temple, 6 states, 8 hours, 430 miles (all #s round trip) When we arrived at his temple, he blessed me...so, as Bill Murray says in Caddy Shack, "so, I've got that going for me." :D That really really made me feel good!

There's a trickle of optimism in the country that wants real change and maybe in a few years ZANU-PF will find themselves out of power or better yet in jail.

It's been a little over a year since I joined the forums over here, and because of that; I have approximately 1 year of knowledge in Illustrator compared to 10+ in Photoshop (for all the flag and seal requests.) I have no idea why I put off Illustrator for so long.

Small happiness but it checks out.

Nice. Painting miniatures is actually a pretty awesome way to spend one's time. Pretty much the whole reason I got into Warhammer stuff a while back.

I finished them up there a few hours ago, man it gives you a good morale boost to see a fully painted squad of minis. I didnt do much highlighting on them (dont trust my hands) but im happy with the darker grimy appearance on them. All i need to do now is find my word bearer transfers and stick those on. Now ive got like 40 cadian models, a tank and like 50 space marines to do

One of these days I really need to get the supplies and paint my Hero Forge mini of my DnD character. I've done plenty of Gundam models over the years, but inking in panel lines on a 1:100 scale giant mecha is an entire different skillset from painting a little mini!
