For the Conferring of Titles, Honorifics, and Various Positions

"The purpose of the Red Vanilla Society shall be to confer and bestow Titles and Honorifics of various kinds, types, origins, and classes to those of anyone who wishes to hold and posses such."

The Red Vanilla Society is a group founded March 8, 1819 by Cameron D. Arntz. The purpose of the Society, as stated in its mission statement, is to give, bestow, and confer titles and honorifics to people, from high class nobility, to middle class bourgeoises, to the lower masses. The Society began as a meeting of 7 individuals in the drawing room of a respectable house on 702 Kennington Way, in the Imperial capitol city of New Canterlot. Originally intended as a pseudo nobility protest group, some of the newer members to the Society include a number of nobility themselves. After growing to 100 members, the group qualified to charter itself on the Roster of Clubs, Organizations, and Societies Operating Within and Throughout the City of New Canterlot. However, needing a name under which to register, it was decided to call the Society after the traditional drink served at 702, being the red coloured East Imperial Emperor's Choice Tea, with a vanilla flower. Thus the name, Red Vanilla Society. The group expanded further, being placed on the roster of every major city on the New Equestrian island of Imperion, before it finally attained the status of an Imperial Society, being registered on the Roster of Imperial Orders and Organizations, thus allowing it to operate throughout the whole of the Empire under the Imperial title, reserved for only the highest and most worthy orders. It is now a highly respectable and prestigious organization, and particularly regarded as one of the more abstract and eccentric societies with which one may associate themselves.

The Society offers its services to every and anyone, and membership is not required to obtain a title or position. However, there are a few perks and advantages to becoming a member, and one can do so rather simply and with minimal requirement. And of course, there are a few levels of membership, each with its own benefits and responsibilities. Further, there are a variety of titles, honorifics, and positions the society may offer, both custom and pre-assigned. As can be assumed, there are varying degrees of prestige that comes with the title and/or honor one decides to purchase, though the prestige is almost exclusively determined by the society in which the bearer lives. In some rare instances, the Red Vanilla Society may be able to confer Imperially recognized titles of nobility in the Empire of New Equestria, and even more rarely to foreign noble titles. The practice of giving genuine titles and honorifics is only slightly more finicky than an honorary one, but nevertheless possible. Of course, genuine titles carry the highest honors and prestige, and will be accompanied by an official Red Vanilla Society Letter of Authenticity proving the official nature of the title.

Regarding the services and styles of the Society itself, as may have been gathered already the Red Vanilla Society is in the service of conferring titles and honorifics to people. Although, while titles and honorifics are the most oft opted for purchase from the society, there are a few other things one may obtain, such as a position of office, or militant rank. But what exactly IS a title and/or honorific? A title is more or less one's rank within a society, for example Prince or Duke, and is typically associated with royalty, whereas an honorific is more of an attachment to one's name showing off respect, esteem, and achievement, and more attainable for the hoi polloi of a society. However, the Red Vanilla Society does not believe in the exclusivity of respect and pride, and is therefore opening such high honors to the general public. Anyone who wishes to make their lives a little more fanciful, or become the object of admiration amongst friends may now easily do so, without having to perform some meritorious feat, or write a popular song. Positions offered by the society are largely honorary with no actual responsibilities; however, once again there are some occasions where real, authentic positions of office are offered, giving the bearer all the authority and responsibilities that comes with it. Positions may be for the Red Vanilla Society itself, another group or club, Public Office of the Empire of New Equestria, foreign office, or even entrepreneurial positions in private and public enterprises. As an additional service, if so desired, the Red Vanilla Society will provide an accompanying Coat of Arms, Crest, and/or Cypher with which to use your new title, style, or honorific, designed by the Society's Consilio Artifex Magna.

Titles and honorifics can vary in origin, such as from the British Royalty or Roman Empire. Most popular are those of European origin, but a number also have roots in the eastern oriental nations. Custom ordered titles can have everything customized, from its origin to its rank, and even desired words within the title. The Society does offer "pre-assigned" or pre-made titles, for much cheaper cost and less requirements, but as such is less exclusive and carries less prestige. Nonetheless, they are offered as well. These services go for all products, including positions, and all can be either custom made/ordered, or purchased pre-assigned. We have endeavored to extract all necessary information on our part, but included in the forms are areas to further expand upon any desired aspects of your title, honorific, or position. With every purchase you will receive a Purchase Certificate, and with authentic purchases an additional Certificate of Authenticity that lists all the powers, authorities, responsibilities, and honors that accompany it. Nations and individuals may also offer titles, honorifics, and positions to be placed under the Society Market Listings which others may purchase to occupy.

Membership with the Society is not required for making purchases, but may be necessary for some of the more prestigious purchases, and certainly is for authentic ones. There are a few levels of membership one may obtain, including Honorary and Official, each with different requirements and expenses, but the need for each is up to the member. Higher level Honorary memberships can be purchased at any time without the need to start at a lower, but to obtain higher level Official statuses one will have to start amongst the lower ranking members. Membership comes with a multitude of benefits and perks, one of which is membership in the Society itself, and as such we highly encourage you to consider joining the Red Vanilla Society at your earliest possible convenience.

Custom Position

Positions are a unique offering from the Red Vanilla Society. They vary from titles in that while a title notifies one's standing within social hierarchy or status of nobility (which a position may do as well), a position is an occupied source of power and authority. A good example is in a constitutional monarchy, whereas one may have the title of "King," but their position is virtually nonexistent compared to that of Prime Minister (which may also double as both position and title). Any ordered position will be entirely honorary, without having any real responsibilities, authority, or power. However it makes for great conversation and a source of pride, and as with titles and honorifics, are hereditary and inheritable. If you wish to be the bearer of an official position with real powers and responsibilities, please refer to the Societal Market Listings. Each Custom Position also comes complete with a Certificate of Bearing, recognizing the position as an authentic Red Vanilla Society distributed position, as well as a paper containing further information and details explaining the various aspects of your position.

Pre-assigned purchases carry less prestige than custom made purchases, but also less cost. Below, organized by language, different pre-assigned purchases are listed, along with a form with which to make a purchase. Following each title and honorific is the cost of each as well as a purchase code to use on the purchase form to indicate what you will be purchasing. Positions have been removed from the Pre-Assignment as it was found to be overly complex and impractical to offer Pre-Assigned Positions, whereas Market Listings and Custom creation are a much more viable, practical, simple, and much more satisfactory option for the bearer.

For the purchase itself, I want TF2 attached to HF2, TF3 attached to HF3, and de Grenoble attached to TF3. du sang will be attached to TF2. And for the thing about Serene Highness, I know in real life that a number of princely and (I think some) ducal houses used the honorific of serene highness, and I was kinda surprised to not see any mention of it at all. As for my ancestry, I have as of recently I have been granted records from the royal archives, which show my grandfather to have been granted the title of Comte de Grenoble as well as a few properties under trust an appenage from a royal at his birth. So that confirms some of my suspicions and research, but I shall be requesting more definite tests, documents and methods to truly confirm it.

Now as for the invitation to the society with the level of Gentleman Peer. I would be honored to accept this invitation and I also wish to at least a small bit of financial compensation, perhaps paying for the accoutrements or giving some donation to the society.
