The Kingdom of Sinseon humbly beseeches the good and noble peoples of the world to entreat with the dominion of His Eminence the Ascendant Kohne, Jun-dae of Yeonkkoch in the establishment of diplomatic relations, commercial ties, and the bonds of international goodwill and spiritual fraternity. In this tumultuous turning of the age, the peoples of the world ought not to pull upon the strings of discord and malevolence; rather, we ought to look to the example of the better angels of our nature in creating commercial and political ties that bind nations together under the shared goal of mutual coexistence and prosperity. His Benevolence wishes to impart tidings of goodwill and joy to his international counterparts, and offers his hand in friendship to those that would seize upon his initiative for increased communication and cooperation.
The Children of His Ascendant Majesty are a dutiful and hard-working peoples that value courage, honor, and self-sacrifice as virtues worthy of the ultimate defense. The Kingdom has long stood as the champion of reason and wisdom in a darkened age where enlightenment falls prey to superstition, and intelligence to emotionalism. Far from the realm of despotic autocrats, the Kohne presides over a nation dutifully charged with protecting the strong and the weak with equal accord. The Sinseonese people care for one another out of respect to the traditions of our ancestry — the great houses of the blessed realm measure their fortunes though the highest of virtues, charity before the accumulation of coin or the prestige of their familial name. The enlightened state and its many apparatuses are predisposed to seek the common good.
From this date forward, the Kingdom of Sinseon hereby establishes the Royal Protocol for the Establishment of Foreign Missions, pursuant to the Kingdom's stated goal of expanding its associations with foreign governments and their peoples. As the spearhead of this endeavor, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sinseon will faithfully seek out any and all willing diplomatic partners seeking to establish ties with His Holiness' government. This office, in defense of this glorious mission, will make available any and all information necessary for the betterment of relations between the Kingdom and the various states of the international community. May the good peoples of the world prosper under the constancy of Truth and be blessed with good health and long life. It is so noted on this day in the Year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty.

The Royal Protocol for the Establishment of Foreign Missions to the Kingdom of Sinseon is the official government initiative to establish national consulates, embassies and other diplomatic missions to the Kingdom. The decree was signed into law by His Royal Majesty the Ascendant Kohne on March 24th, 2020, replacing the now-defunct Diplomatic Missions' Protocol which had been consecrated as national law since 1922. The new legislation has reorganized the authorization and regulation of diplomatic missions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and specifically the Department of Communications therein. National governments, multinational assemblies of states and international trade organizations are permitted up to seven diplomatic missions in Sinseon.

The Kingdom of Sinseon (/SHinsän/, Sineonese: 연꽃 왕국), also known informally as the Sinseonese Kohnate and by its popular sobriquet the Lotus Kingdom is a unitary parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy. The country has existed in its current iteration since the Wongi Revolution in July 1825, which ended the absolute monarchy's thirteen hundred year rule and established the nation's legislature, the Sanwon. According to the 2020 National Census, the population was estimated at 51,709,098, with a GDP per capita (PPP) of $46,451 USD, an HDI of .901 and a GINI coefficient of 27.2 (based on foreign analysis between 2001 and 2019). The nation's currency is called the Tongh (₸, Currency Code: TON), with ₸10.21 equivalent to $1.00 USD.
The sitting monarch, referred to as the Kohne, serves as the ceremonial head of state; the current monarch is His Royal Majesty the Ascendant Kohne Jun-dae of Yeonkkoch in the 45th year of his reign. The leader of the Sanwon, the Susang (or Premier) serves as the head of the government; the current Susang is Kan Hei-ran of the Sahoe Minjudang Party in the first year of her first term as Premier. While there is no official fixed-term for the Susang, the national constitution limits the Sanwon to a term of five years, with the Kohne capable of issuing a writ of election prior to the completion of the session. Members of the Sanwon hold the title of Daeliin, or Representative; all members of the Sanwon are thus accorded the official styling of The Honourable Daeliin.
Sinseon is a developed, high-income mixed economy, with the state enjoying regulatory oversight over key commercial, energy and manufacturing sectors. The prioritization of economic growth and a strong national ethos of deference to the state and self-sacrifice has led to the historic marginalization of the nation's workers; in recent years however, the advent of market liberalization has seen marked gains for workers' rights, and the country ranks competitively with high economic freedom. A generous social welfare system known as the Anjeonmang provides for a singer-payer healthcare system, free college education and food and housing assistance. Voter suffrage is universal to all naturalized citizens and legal residents over the age of eighteen.

All national diplomatic missions to the Kingdom of Sinseon, whether flagged as consulates or embassies, are accorded the status of sovereign soil belonging to the mission holder. No member of the Sinseonese government, armed forces, national police force, local constabularies or other Sinseonese nationals may enter the grounds of a nation's diplomatic mission without the consent of the senior mission delegate or official. As such, the national laws and rights of the mission holder will apply to all diplomatic missions, irrespective of any conflict with Sinseonese law, right or custom. However, the Kingdom does retain the legal authority to deport — with the promise of safe conduct out of the Kingdom — any and all foreign nationals from their diplomatic mission(s).
Diplomatic missions are permitted to house up to seventy-five [75] personnel (including any diplomatic officials, their families, mission staff and security personnel) on their grounds at any one time, unless obtaining a special dispensation to increase the number of personnel allowed on mission grounds from the Kohne. Up to one-third of diplomatic mission personnel (or twenty-five [25] members of the mission) may be classed as Resident - Security Personnel. Security personnel of a diplomatic mission are permitted to retain a combination of anti-personnel grenades, riot control weapons and small armaments for the purpose of defense. Diplomatic missions are permitted to retain no more than three [3] flagged vehicles for the conducting of state business.

The Kingdom of Sinseon has established a designated foreign missions district in the capital city of Maejae, along with special missions districts in six of the Kingdom's most prolific agricultural, commercial-financial and manufacturing hubs. National governments and organizations seeking diplomatic representation within the Kingdom are each permitted to open one [1] embassy in the capital city of Maejae and up to six [6] consulates in the Kingdom, with a single consulate allowed each in the cities of Ajeuseung, Namcheon, Seonhwa, Suoryun, Tonsan and Yesanbu. Each embassy and consulate is modified and upgraded per the specific requests of the resident nation or organization. An annual stipend for embassy and consulate improvements is allotted.
- 자본MAEJAE, JABON SPECIAL PREFECTURE — The capital city of the Kingdom, its royal seat of power, and its most populous metropolitan area all in one, Maejae is in many ways a representation of the nation's ancient prestige and cosmopolitan evolution. With its classical architecture interwoven among gleaming towers of glass and steel, Maejae is the cultural heartland of the Kingdom and its most recognizable international hub. Known among the locals as "the Capital of Heaven", the Lotus District in West-Central Maejae is the home of all Embassy missions sent to the Kingdom of Sinseon.
- 자본AJEUSEUNG, EUN PREFECTURE — Located in the rugged Godoghan Mountains of Northern Sinseon, the Ajeuseung Metropolitan Area is a major industrial hub and population center close to the Buhan Coal Fields. Rich in forestry products, furniture production and ore processing of raw minerals, Ajeuseung is also noteworthy for its world-class ski resorts and winter sports along with its plethora of summer outdoor activities such as biking, camping, hiking, horseback riding and whitewater rafting. The old city and surrounding metropolitan region is home to approximately 850,000 people.
- 자본NAMCHEON, YOJOGHAN PREFECTURE — Formerly a quiet hamlet nestled in the Tamyang Hills of Southern Sinseon, the city of Namcheon exploded in the 1950's as one of the new leaders in computer and information technology. Dubbed "Lightning Valley" by observers of the Kingdom's high technology sector, today Namcheon specializes in the production of electronic consumer goods, microprocessors, and more software applications per capita than any other city in the country. The city has seen the fastest population growth of any Sinseonese metropolitan area for twelve years.
- 주황색SEONHWA, CHEONSA PREFECTURE — Enthroned as the gleaming capital of the Doju Wine Country, Seonhwa is the cosmopolitan capital of the Kingdom, filled with luxury goods, spa resorts and upscale boutiques. One of the wealthiest cities in Sinseon per capita, Seonhwa is rich in cultural heritage and in commercial ventures, with the country's largest gambling sector located in the south of the city. As of 2020, Seonhwa is second in population size only to the national capital of Maejae, a city it is projected to pass by 2040. The city houses Sinseon's largest port by cargo volume.
- 천사SUORYUN, GASENG PREFECTURE — With its towering skyscrapers and vast canals channeling the waters of the Jaeseumin River running through the heart of its central district, Suoryun is one of the Kingdom of Sinseon's most important cities. Long known as the center of a major gold rush in the late-1880s, the immense wealth of gold, silver and copper that was extracted from the region made Suoryun a valuable center of wealth and commerce. Today, the Greater Suoryun Metropolitan Region, two million strong, is the banking capital and biggest commercial center in Sinseon.
- 큰TONSAN, SONKEUN PREFECTURE — Shining as a beacon of recreation and relaxation, Tonsan is referred to as the jewel of the Ilmil Coast in Western Sinseon, and serves as the entertainment capital of the Kingdom. With more gambling halls, music venues and resort hotels than any other destination in Sonkeun Prefecture, the city has earned its reputation as a major center for the hospitality and services industry. The natural deep-water harbor makes Tonsan a premier destination for cruise liners and world-class deep sea fishing. Almost a million people call the Tonsan area home.
- 남쪽YESANBU, NAMJUNG PREFECTURE — The largest of the 'quad cities' on the Manheun Steppe, Yesanbu is one of Sinseon's oldest cities. Dating back to the Kang Dynasty, the region is home to almost a million citizens, many of whom work in the area's ubiquitous agricultural cooperatives. Known as the 'Breadbasket of Lotus Kingdom', the city has become a hub for agricultural production and research into new technologies. No region of the Kingdom out-produces Yesanbu in the cultivation of beef, poultry and other forms of commercial livestock, or its famous craft beers.

National governments or other multinational organizations looking to establish diplomatic missions with the Kingdom of Sinseon are highly encouraged to fill out the applications provided below for the creation of an embassy and consulates. Applications should be filled out in full to expedite processing and ensure that the most accurate information is provided for our official government records. Any notice of the rejection of an application for the purposes of creating an embassy or consulate will be wired directly via official diplomatic channels within seventy-two [72] hours. Otherwise, the official processing of and acceptance of applications typically takes no more than twenty-four [24] hours for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to complete.
