All About Lindale
The Republic of New Lindale, is Representative Democracy in Antarctica, primarily in the Western Hemisphere. With a population of nearly 3,75 billion people, the nation has influenced by the native Karusnahk population and other South American and European nations, but the primary cultural influence is British, Irish, Norwegian, Estonian, Austrian, Argentinean, Chilean, and Japanese. Made independent sine 2006, Lindale is free-market capitalist, and until 2019 had been governed by a Westminister system, but now is run by an American style Constitutional Republican Government.
English is the official language, although Norwegian and Austrian dialect of German are also recognized. In addition to the federal mandate, certain communities with a concentration of certain ethnicities will have their languages recognized as official in addition to the mandate. These typically are Estonian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and Sami. The Lindale economy is dominated by Book Publishing, Arms Manufacturing, and Information Technology, in addition to smaller localized industries including Aerospace and Automotive Technology and Manufacturing, Tourism, and Commerical Aviation.
The territory of Lindale is primarily comprised of provinces in Western Antarctica, with the exception of Ny Havn Greenwich which crosses the Prime Meridian across the Weddell Sea, and Tierra del Fuego, which was acquired after the Argentine-Lindali War in 2018.
Capital Province
The Capital Province as implied is the province that contains the Capital of Albany, and is the largest province by territory. It is comprised of the mainland of the Antarctic Peninsula, Alexander, Charcot, and Rothschild Islands, and the semi-autonomous region of Caledonia, which is almost exclusively Sami and Karusnahk. The largest recorded nationality outside of Lindali recorded on the mainland is Chilean and Argentinean at second, and British on Alexander Island. It is the second most urban province and is the hub for all of the book publishing and tourism scene.
Baybrook Province
This province is the second largest domestic Agricultural market for Lindale, and has the highest count of islands in it's territory. It is in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula along with nearly 200 islands surrounding it and is the only province to directly border another, bordering the Capital Province. Baybrook is the third-largest in the concentration of Norwegians, the second-largest concentration of Estonians, and sole largest concentration of Karusnahk outside of Saledonia.
Westheimer Province
Home of the state-owned Oil company Smiley Petroleum, Westheimer is the third-largest in Logistics, second largest in Manufacturing, and sole largest in Natural Resources. It is southwest of the Capital Province along the northern coast of the mainland and 5 large islands including Smyley Island. Westheimer has the third-largest concentration of Chileans, the second largest of Norwegians, and the sole largest of Austrians.
Westwood Province
Just west of Westheimer, is Westwood, which on the middle of it's 2 islands, houses the Antarctic Stock Exchange, this is the second largest in the Financial industry, and the sole market for Salmon Exports outside of Baybrook. It has the third largest concentration of Estonians, second largest of Irish, and sole largest concentration of Argentineans.
NHG Province
Across the Weddell Sea, is the Ny Havn Province, with the largest Norwegian population, and tied with Cypress in largest Manufacturing, and Freight Logistics market. It is the only province with no islands, being on East side of the Weddell Sea, and a population of an Afro-Karusnahk tribe outside of Saledonia that has settled for more than 10 years.
Uus-Haapsulu Province
The Uus-Haapsulu Province is the largest concentration of Estonians, as well as Sami people. It is the third largest Salmon exporter, second largest Logistics market, and the sole largest Manufacturer. Uus-Haapsulu is the second closest to the Ross Sea, and the only other province primarily large islands aside from the Capital, Cypress, and Westwood.
Cypress Province
The province the furthest west, Cypress is number tied for number 1 in Logistics with Ny Havn Greenwich. It's primarily large islands to it's west and is notorious for it's boating community. Cypress is the third largest British, second largest Kurhansk, and sole largest Japanese population.
Tierra del Fuego
At the tip of South America, Tierra del Fuego is an acquired province from 2018 after the Argentine-Lindale War. It is growing tourism as well as increasing access to the neighboring Falkland Islands. Argentineans are the primary residents.
Embassy Regulations
-Security personnel and military personal are allowed, however any operating of armed forces must be permitted by the Home Office ahead of time. This will apply to combat vehicles, as well as weapons, such as rocket launchers, grenades, and assault weapons with magazines exceeding 50 rounds. Salzburg Act nations will have pre-negotiated allowances.
-Aircraft may be registered for use at airports only, and information on airfields are available.
-All information provided must be as factual as possible
-A map will be provided if you need more information on local geography.
-Depending on your location, you will be limited 100-500 staff
-Diplomatic Immunity will be provided, however, request by the Home Office for expulsion may perform at any time, if there are grounds justifying so by law.
