Infantry Fighting Vehicles

BMP-2XM Prototypes

Image

The Boyevaya Mashina Pekhoty (Infantry Combat Vehicle) 2 eXtended Modernization, is based on the tens of thousands of BMP-2s that were stuffed into warehouses of Vadia over the years, after the end of the two Han Wars during the late 1980s. After over three decades of being placed in storage, not even used as reserves, it was decided to use the vehicles as a foundation for new IFV development. Thus there was a series of prototypes that would be tested by CoHRE and other allied military corporations and/or armed forces.

Removing the large supply of vehicles from the warehouses, it was found that a good number of them had some "wear and tear" on the engines, stabilizers, and software components. Considering a lot of these parts were obsolete anyways, it was decided to replace them with a mixture of Ukraine, Bulgarian, and Polish style fire-control system, a brand new stabilizer, and a SE Malyshev Plant diesel engine 3TD-2 with 400 horsepower (Compared to 300 previously). The stabilizer also maintains reasonable accuracy while the vehicle is traveling at 45 kilometers per hour (28 MPH), which is the vehicle's top speed offroad. The new fire-control system made it possible to replace the old AT-4 or AT-5 anti-tank guided missiles with the Spike-LR II, and partially involved help from the Consortia SA military corporation hailing from Etoile Arcture. While the previous system: had a range of 4 km (2.5 mi), penetration of 800mm vs RHA, and the ability to be wire-guided SACLOS (Meaning it was guided to the location by pointing at the target manually during the whole time of travel); the new missile system: has a range of 5.5 km (3.4 mi), penetration of 910 RHA, and is laser-guided "fire and forget" with counter-active protection system (CAPS) capability.

The first prototype model also features added side armor, which has handles allowing hooks, tools, or hands to move it out of the weight for maintenance. The last feature was Blazer ERA, which provides protection of 350 - 400 mm RHA against HEAT wareheads (approx a LAW rocket or RPG-22), but only over a limited area of the side. The ERA can be set off by any auto-cannon or heavy machine-gun with a caliber larger then 14.5mm, and is some of risk to troops standing next to the vehicle.

The cost of all the upgrades and getting every single part back in 100% condition, is approx 45,000 NSD.

-

The second stage of upgrades included the possibility that Blazer ERA was obsolete and that it could be a danger to dismounted or friendly infantry. Digging through the technology designed for the Abrams M1A2 TUSK II, along with the metal-foam technology imported from Karatol-Advenra. The plan was for a large portion of the side to be covered with NERA, or Non-Explosive Reactive Armor, which was made from two layers of metal foam using a steel alloy, synthetic rubber "sandwiched" between them, and a light ceramic backing. The problem that came up was that recent advances had made metal foam a lot cheaper, it was still quite expensive and so the material was replaced with a mixture of hard steel alloy mixed with thin layers of high strength titanium alloy.

The cost of all the upgrades and getting every single part back in 100% condition, is approx 60,000 NSD.

-

The third stage of prototypes were very ambitious, involving dismantling parts of the front chassis and turret, before welding extensions to both of them, and replacing many parts into new locations. With the additional space in the turret, it was possible to install a Mk44 Bushmaster II 30mm autocannon, which is believed to have the same explosive power as the Soviet 30mm, but has AP penetration that is up to 50% greater. The additional space and extensions in the front and front upper of the chassis has allowed for the protection of those areas to be increased to be beyond 30mm Soviet or 25mm Bushmaster. The new autocannon uses up the additional space offered by the expanded turret, but it is capable of firing upwards at higher elevations. This was achieved via a mixture of newer alloys, composite armor involving ceramics, rubber, and titanium, along with a strong almost 45 degree slant.

With the new expanded hull, it was possible to expand the NERA coverage over the sides and even "double up" on it, by installing a series of ceramic tiles that made use of the technology from the Styker ICV upgrade projects. Protection along the sides is now 520 RHA against HEAT (PG-7VL warehead from RPG-7) and multi-hit rated, per panel, against 20mm Rheinmetall Mk 20 Rh-202

The cost of all the upgrades and getting every single part back in 100% condition, is approx 380,000 NSD.

Currently the latest prototype could be put into mass production and sold for 2.7 million NSD, against the 3 million NSD of most M2A3 Bradleys on the market. the model doesn't exactly match up with crew comfortable or technology, but it has comparable armor and greater firepower.

Tanks, Main Battle Tank

Image

The Titan-7M2 is another version of the Titan-7 that was meant to fix the errors with the Titan-7M, which had provisions for Western composite armor that would add considerable cost to a cheap tank. The new version has mounts installed and weld-work done, so that it has additional Dolly Parton composite armor layered on the front; along with mounts for various kinds of ERA or NERA. It also has the following features the previous version had:

"A French made a 120mm gun that fits inside the T-62, but that gun failed to sell internationally. We replicated that gun and made it better, so that it can accept a widely different number of ammo-types. We can modify the barrel so that it accepts American or German ammo better without much hassle, even though the gun already accepts those ammo. The barrel is 52 calibers long, making it one of the most powerful barrels on any 120mm tank period. We also installed a brand-new engine, replacing the old 581 hp 12-cylinder water-cooled diesel with a 5A turbocharged diesel developing around 908 hp. The tracks were replaced with solid-reliable tracks that suit the new modern engine."

Most Common Competitor: T-72 Ural or Monkey Model
Main Gun Titan-7M2, 120mm L/52 > T-72 Ural 125 mm/L48
Co-Axial 7.62 mm PKT coax. machine gun = 7.62 mm PKT coax. machine gun
Secondary Weapons 12.7 M2 Browning > 12.7 mm NSVT or DShK anti-aircraft machine gun
Defense Dolly Parton Armor > conventional cast HHS steel armour or RHA steel armour
Crew Safety Roomy and safe turret > Roman Candle Turret that is too cramped
Engine 5A turbocharged diesel 908 hp > 780 hp
Condition Lovingly Maintained and Kept in Secure Warehouse > Left To Rot Out In Open
Cost: 1.45 million > 1.99~ million

Each of these models cost 1.45 million on the market, they will be converted from T-62s as needed.

Upgrade kits for your T-62s cost 850,000NSD, with up to 500 of these since we are expecting them to be put to use soon enough.

As a replacement for the Titan-7LD, the Titan-7M2V has western explosive reactive armor. The exact kind of ERA is very similar to BLAZER and TUSK ERA, being leftover stocks of both from various nations. This mixed with the "Dolly Parton" armor allows the front and part of the sides of the tank to be very well protected against HEAT, along with KEPs below 105mm. The ERA is easily replaceable when destroyed and the armor below is simple enough to be easily repaired; meaning the tank has a chance to survive as many as four hits in the same location given enough time to heal after each hit.

The new laser-designator is leftover from old AMX-32s and is overall very effective at it's job, if being somewhat awkwardly shaped.

Each of these models used to cost 1.65 million NSD on the market. We will make more then our prototypes after our first order is called in.

Upgrade kits for your T-62s cost 900,000 NSD, with none available at the moment as we haven't made any.

Tanks, Advanced Main Battle Tanks

The Pentagonal Armaments Power Pack, with Pentagonal TurboCharged Diesel Engine Model One, Liquid Cooled is quite a mouthful of a name, but it's also the most recent and most advanced "engine system" we have designed so far.

What makes this engine a big deal?

The engine system is compact, easy to maintain, easy to replace or fix, has a reduced fuel consumption for idle periods, while being able to kick out 1,500 hp (1,100 kW) during periods of heavy use.

>Why should I care? I've seen several tanks do 1500 hp.

Yes, the M1A2(SEP) Abrams can do it, and there are comparable tanks with similar engines sold at other storefronts.

The problem is those are multi-fuel turbine engines. They drink, drink, and drink. During times of strong use, such as invasions or counterattacks, the tanks travel about point six miles per gallon of fuel. While idling, they also are drinking quite a bit as well, despite doing almost nothing.

These engines are said to be compact, easy to maintain, and easy to repair or fix; but they suffer in terms of fuel usage and heat. This is a major reason why the T-80 tank family went back to high horsepower diesel engines.

Btw, The M1A2(SEP) Abrams costs 8.58 million NSD from the largest known supplier, while comparable tanks typically run around 9 million NSD or more.

>What about the T-84 Oplot and comparable tanks? I bet their engines are just as good

There are some disputes if that tank can even kick out 1500 hp, with many sources saying it's closer to 1,400 hp (882 kW). Comparable or even better tanks from very respected arms storefronts can kick out as little as 1250 hp.

The T-84 Oplot, when sold by the largest known supplier, costs 4.8 million NSD. Comparable tanks with better features cost 4.9 million NSD, at least, but go up to 6 million NSD.

All of these compared tanks are either equivalent or worse in horsepower. We can sell a comparable tank with a better or comparable engine, for at least six percent cheaper, which is a lot of money when you're buying a lot of tanks.

Fixed-Wing Aircraft

History, The Past

During the Cold War ranging from the 1940s to the 1990s, it seems that most of humankind was separated into three groups. They were: those align with the democratic capitalist West and the authoritarian "communist" East. Many nations wanted to sit out the whole conflict and yet were caught in the crossfire, used as pawns or battlegrounds between the two sides. Despite the assumptions of outsiders, what was Vadia remained almost completely unaware of the "Cold War" and spent the period locked in a violent struggle for survival against its neighbors, who ranged from capitalist to state capitalist to socialist, but were always highly oppressive and imperialist. During that older period, the F-5 "Freedom Fighter" was designed to be a cheap, simple aircraft for third world allies of the West, and over the years it became more and more advanced, and popular. Despite this, a number of factors completely out of the control of the designers resulted in the F-16 scooping up all the sales and users around the world instead of the last F-5 model, the F-20 Tigershark.

In the recent past of the last few decades, Vadia has become the Pentaga Giudici and Vadia, and their first alliance of the NTA worked within the International Coalition for Expansion (Expansion of civil rights and freedoms, not imperialism.) Despite the fallings out of ICE and the lack of cooperation, NTA has become the Coalition of Human Rights and Ethics, and through it's military it has fought many oppressive powers to a standstill, and is busy rebuilding many wartorn lands. Meanwhile, Pentagonal Armaments remains an expression of CoHRE policy, in it's goal of providing jobs, advanced military research for CoHRE, and affordable equipment for the defense forces of democratic organizations around the world.

As such, there has been a major push in recenty years to provide an affordable, easy to maintain, sturdy aircraft to fill many of the airforces around the world. As of the year 2020, the projected cost of a F-16D is 29,979,480 NSD, extremely close to 40 million NSD. The projected cost of an A-10 Warhog, just five years ago, appears to be 46.3 million NSD. One of the most recent F-16 models, the F-16IN, appears to cost around 50 million NSD as well. These kinds of costs would easily "price out" a large portion of the world's democratic states and make them incredibly vunerable to imperialist states. Thus, it was decided to examine and look over the possibilities of aircraft that had been cheaper then F-16, but roughly as capable, while also trying to use modern technology to cut costs and increase effectiveness.

According to current calculations by Pentagonal Armaments, they could deliver a comparable fighter from an update of the Northrop F-20 Tigershark, for 24,982,066.6667 NSD (25 million NSD). This is only a cost savings of 5 million NSD, 16.6% of the cost, but it currently appears to the maximum that can be shaved of without lowering quality.
