Can I blame GenSec twice?

(That seems like a really weird and specific rule.)

GenSec was specifically created for the GA, not the WA as a whole. The legality of SC proposals is checked by the mods (as GA proposals were before the creation on GenSec).

Speaking of Liberations.

St Abbaddon still has a Liberation that we have debated whether or not to repeal.

Problem is I have no idea how to write it up even if we do want to go through repealing it.

St. Abby's liberation is likely to its benefit. If anyone ever tried to invade the region, they'd have no way to stop multiple defenders from coming in to save it thanks to that liberation. If the liberation was removed, invaders could lock the region down with a password and work towards refounding it.

Does the last clause satisfy Rule III?

“ The Security Council, by the advice and consent of the Delegates and member nations thereof, does hereby, in the name of the ever-knowing Violet, Liberate The East Pacific.”

There’s that strange Violet reference, sure, but there’s also another problem with the operative clause. The operative clause predicates action upon the advice and consent of the Delegates and member nations, but it’s entirely possible that a resolution, notwithstanding this clause, can pass *without* the support of Delegates or member nations at large. Not all delegates are created equally in terms of endorsements and member-nations don’t always vote in line with delegates.

The Security Council won't vote yes for this, when it's a large region and deserving of it, but they'll go ahead and raid small regions with only 16 nations who've done nothing but mind their own business.

LOL goes to show how shitty this institution is, but everyone should vote yes, and maybe it'll pass despite the retards who serve the Security Council.

If you knew anything about the SC and it's mechanisms you would know that Liberations do not affect Game Created Regions like The East Pacific.

If that was the case the proposal would've been stopped by the Security Council overseer dudes for being illegal, but since it's at vote...Looks like you're wrong?

No surprise there though, go off with your incorrect nonsense buddy

You...do realize that the region in question is an unpassworded, game created feeder region that can be moved to at any time right? And that the resolution was proposed by the delegate of the region in question? It's a joke proposal that seeks nothing but a badge for the region to display.

Perhaps instead of running your mouth, you should take the time to read the fucking rules? I will wager every dollar on the planet that both Syl and Kuri know more about the workings of the SC in the end of their little fingers, than you will ever comprehend. There is already enough know-it-all's around here. Don't add to the problem.

We are disappointed to note The East Pacific's blatant manipulation of trademarked Confederation tactics, and thus cannot support the resolution at vote. This sort of behaviour must be put to an end!!

Do as I say, not as I do? Seems exactly like the words of Joco. Here's the thing though, Marrabuk won't be laughed at for it, and TEP won't turn into a despised region. Perhaps you should take some lessons on tact instead?

He and TEP aren't exactly coming out of this being looked at in a positive light by many.
