I have a few questions.

1) Are reserve/test drivers allowed?

2) Is it possible for drivers to join a team mid-season?

3) One-race substitutes?

Also, I noticed that there are still four seats available and six drivers without a team.

1. You can write about one but it won't have any impact on the competition.

2. It is, yes, but only if they are entirely new (not transferred from another team).

3. I'll say no to that, I'm afraid; I imagine it would complicate the scorination.

If needed, I can add in the bolded text for confirmation of drivers with the team. Though as of the time being, they have signed up and everything, but they need a final confirmation, which I will write a new one soon!

Why do you say that? By my count, there are two slots for drivers still open, one of which doesn't look to be close to a deal. You have more than a chance!

I believe my team slots are full? I put out the offer and the response on Discord seemed positive, there just hasn't been an official confirmation yet.

Pretty sure Lisander's team has a seat open as well (at least I can't see anything about BH having signed a 2nd driver).

It's a real shame to see competent, rp'd drivers still without a seat as we head towards qualifying for the first race, particularly in a season where for a bit it looked like we'd be short on drivers.

If I was running a team, I'd sign Kaukanna and Baker in a heartbeat, and there's good names (and even rp) behind Archer and Vestergaard, too. Between all of them, there's enough drivers to fill all the empty spots and then bring Nyklasdkghpuun Nooralskfjdkis onto the grid, too.

I just think it would be sad for multiple users to miss out on the first race simply because teams haven't gotten around to signing a second driver.

It's really hard to not break the 1000 words limit, cuz all my rps are usually over 100 words long. Still cool to challenge myself(even tho my tps wom't be that good).

Yeah I'm finding it tricky too, although so far it's in a fun way at least. It'll be interesting to see how I choose what portion of the 1000 words to spend on the race, qualification, or other off-track things.

I've contacted Lisander through TG about William Archer going to Bitten Heroes, although I'd rather wait for him to confirm it before I say anything on the RP thread.

Heroes is accepting Archer, and I'll put my posts up to date this week. It's like a curse. Something always have to happen in WGPO preseason and I don't have that much time/inspiration to post.

Reminder with the first race coming up, submit your pick'em rosters :)

Fans can submit their entries to the VTRacer WGP2 Pick 'em Competition directly to Vilita and Turori Racer or through the Official VTRacer WGP2 Pick 'em App's entry submission form.

As a reminder of the limitations; Each Pick 'em Team will consist of 4 drivers; 1 from Tier One, 1 from Tier Two and 2 from Tier Three. Entries will earn points based on the performance of their team during the event. Throughout the season a user can swap a driver within a tier for another driver of the same tier at a cost of 1 championship point for the first change in any tier, 2 points for the second change made in a tier and increasing by a point until a maximum of 5 changes in a single Tier.

I'm kind of confused now... at first I assumed the race cutoff was meant to mark the end of a ''week'' but right now I see people still counting their post-race posted RPs as part of their last week's word count.

For clarity purposes, what exactly does mark the end of a ''week'' where the word count is being reset again?

Seconded. I'm at 997 words with the practice and qualifying posts. I'm assuming it resets after the cutoff from the race itself.

I hope my season is not full of DNFs lol.

These interpretations are correct; the word limit is per raceweek and thus resets after each race cutoff.
