I was informed this morning of the ongoing situation regarding the Ferinan Archipeligo. The regime forces of Shikonjima have attempted a cloak-and-dagger, neo-colonialist operation to annex the islands into their empire, against the wishes of the people. We are hearing varying reports of Shikonjimanese soldiers and police now massacring anybody who protests this invasion. The colonialist government of Shikonjima has justified its annexation along the lines of multiculturism and that the islands are not economically viable on their own, lines taken straight out of the anti-national, globalist, international finance capitalist/socialist handbook and used to undermine the sovereignty of countries.

Will the Shikonjimanese do the right thing and hold a referendum on this issue and allow the people of the Ferinan Archipeligo to have the final say on their homeland's future? Will they be given the option to reject the imperialist advances of the regime and form their own independent republic? I very much doubt they will.

Today I come to you with news I would rather not report. Much criticism has been given to SACTO as of late. The USSB had been in talks to debate joining an alliance of our own. This was the International Socialist Volunteer Corps (ISVC). Instead I must warn all nations of similar and different views about their corruption.

The Autocracy of Blagorgansk places the rights of their people above all else. If our soldiers are risking their lives, it is the government’s position to ensure our people are safe and the cause is worthy. As it stands, USSB officials can not trust the ISVC with this responsibility. This alliance is a power grab meant to establish a hierarchy between communist and leftist countries.

Our nation was prepared to intervene in a nation we will not expose at the moment. However we were told through unofficial means that a second nation would not just retain command of our soldiers. They would also determine which faction out of several in that nation would receive the money you, the citizens of Blagorgansk, had been allocated to donate towards improving the struggling nation.

Other members in the alliance spoke of retaining control of their forces. We shall see if they resist as we did, or if they fold and let themselves be controlled by the weak, ineffective ISVC command. Based on our specific details on how we planned to implement financial spending, their protest of it can only suggest that they wanted to skim some of this money from the top.

I say to the nations with leadership stakes in the ISVC. I was born on a Tuesday but not last Tuesday. I suggest that group pulls its head out of its rear and learns how to lead and manage without snarky attitude and poor coordination. The USSB is not a part of their hierarchy, nor will our soldiers fight for their cause.

I personally denounce that group as nothing but a sham and an embarrassment to the political left, socialists and communists alike. They failed to do anything in Saint Andre. They will fail in their current theater as well.

To the other alliances of henchmen, know that we expect this news to come with criticism to the USSB. That is not my concern. Just know that the USSB really does look out for our people. We do not believe in the manipulation or corruption shown by ISVC type nations. Our ideology is different, but we do stand for something. We do feed and clothe our people. Our soldiers are taken care of. People can not become rich, but there is little need for wealth with how our economy works. Top leaders and elites also vow to live a life in equality.

May the ISVC crumble under the weight of its own bureaucracy. These are the Reds you hate. We are Blue Soviets for a reason. A people’s government that does truly protect and serve its people. We do not need to be associated with any alliance which tries to profit off its membership through unsavory practices. Their corrupt leadership has no right to establish dominance over those whose nations donate services, equipment and blood for their cause.

We are happy to report that the patient who was infected with the 'Crimson flu' is returning to good health, thanks to the excellent work of the staff at Saint Michael's Hospital. Not much is known about the origin of this disease, but it is clear from cases reported in other countries that it is especially dangerous for people with weakened immune system, be it a result of general poor health, age, infection with HIV etc. As the DoH has pointed out already, the disease has a very limited ability to spread, and does not pose a viable threat to public health. This was an isolated case and hopefully the individual in question can be discharged as soon as possible. #crimsonflu

90% of the drama here comes from users with either 1) military uniforms or 2) illustrated avatars. Usually can find a debate between one or more of those two demographics going at it.

In the wake of a blatant and unchecked conquest of foreign land, the Shikonojimese regime has issued a number of arguments in defense of its neo-colonialist actions. Yet, while the Shikonojimese present these arguments with confidence and pretty faces of nobility and paid shills, such arguments do not hold up to scrutiny.

1) The "lack of democratic tradition" is not an excuse for imperialism. Land stealing is land stealing - point. blank. period.

2) Ethnicity is also a dumb excuse for imperialist tendencies. Look how many independent Anglo or Hispanic nations there are around the globe. Nations with the same ethnicity, same language, same customs, etc. can still be independent.

3) Identity is not a functionally replacement for sovereignty, representation and/or self-rule. Being subjected to the control and authority of a distant, foreign regime cannot be remedied by just allowing the conquered inhabitants to "double identify". Sovereignty has political and physical ramifications - "identity" rarely does.

4) The implication that the islanders are better off under the control of a colonialist power is racist and demeaning. It implies that the islanders are incapable of governing themselves, incapable of building a functioning economy and incapable of defending their territory. These assumptions remain yet unproven.

5) Building on the fourth point, such implication is also dangerous as its basically an excuse for infinite and unchecked imperialism leading to one world government. If being "better off" is an excuse to steal sovereignty and autonomy, then certainly that same excuse can be made for any nation.
