I tried it, landed the first hit, tried something fancy for the second and he beat me up.

I never did get that box behind him.

I punched him and then roundhouse kicked him, but I wanted to complete the quests for the guy so I went down the racist route too.

Btw the only way I managed to beat him up was by brute forcing it, as it had about 20% chance of success, so I just kept reloading the save over and over and over again until it worked.

don't be mad when you get torped from over 30 km away

I would probably be able to see them from that distance tbh.

On another note, why do I have a hankering to dig out my copy of NMS again? Has it improved a lot?

It's had a lot of big updates. The Devs have actually spent a lot of time improving it. Worth another go at least, I'd say, if you haven't already. No guarantees you'll like it.

...I'm starting to think I'm not good at fighting games. You grab Mortal Kombat off the game pass, then get bent over 12 times in a row online. Clearly my usual strategy of "Mash buttons and hope it works" doesn't work like it used to.

It's obviously too late for you now, but a third path into the harbour exists, for the not so tough and anti-racists who refuse to submit. You have to go a little out of your way to find it, but it's actually not that hard to figure out.

Cuno's shack? Yeah I know that route.

And I got rid of the thought immediately after I got it, so that makes me feel better. Kinda.

Just finished Disco Elysium. Very good. Thoroughly impressed. Got an ending that I was satisfied with.

I'd love for a new Fallout game to be done in the same style, as it'd hark back to the originals but still be fresh enough to not be a slavish copy of the originals.

Been playing through Halo for the first time, because my parents wouldn't let me play M rated games and I was poor as shit growing up so I couldn't get Xbox or Play Station stuff.

Tis been fun, I will now refer to Master Chief as Exterminator Chief as that's basically what most of the story of the first game is.
