OOC: pretty sure the right to abortion has been guaranteed by a previous resolution that was passed with a notable majority. While I don't know whether this would contradict with that (although I think it would, considering how this would restrict that freedom to have an abortion), I can already tell you that stating that you're aiming to outright ban abortion later down the line will result in this getting gunned out of the sky almost instantly should it ever reach the voting floor. That you call abortions morally wrong won't help, either.

The WA is notably pro-abortion, or rather, pro- the right to have an abortion as one chooses.

Blacklight is an isolationist, and notably xenophobic, interstellar corporatocracy.
Its government and society are made up of three massive conglomerates.
They maintain joint control over affairs normal governments would otherwise be concerned with.

Current WA legislation compels member-states to guarantee an individual’s right to seek an abortion. This proposal contradicts that piece of legislation and thus is unlawful.

Edit: changed "access" to "right"

OOC: it's not, at least not under current WA law. You'll have to get that one repealed first before you can even remotely ban abortions, and I can already tell you that such a feat is pretty much impossible. There have been so many repeal attempts towards that one, and all have failed.

OOC: Probably because people hold complete control and right over one's own body as an important value.

Oh puh-leas. If you arn't ready to have a child then.... well.... don't.... um...... You know what I mean.

Abortion is not a "Right" or "Choice" or whatever crap people call it. It is the process of KILLING a HUMAN INFANT.

KILLING..... A HUMAN....

The only possible way of passing this or any other proposal is to repeal GA#286 and replace it with another piece of WA legislation. However many, many others have attempted to repeal GA#286 and every attempt has failed. It is a waste of time attempting to repeal it.

Non-human member states constitute a notable percentage of WA membership. These same non-human majority member-states remain committed to GA#286 and abide by WA rulings.
