The Confederation of the New Visayan Islands uses a multiparty system; four political parties are represented at the federal level, videlicet the Socialist Party, the Liberal Party, the New Nationalists, and Libertas Visayana.

Teufelreich is a one party theocratic state. While the Head of State is our High Presbyter, the temporal power rests largely in the Chancellor. He (and only males may serve in the government) is chosen within the ruling party and only allowed party in the nation, the Tiefemann Bund. Whenever the Chancellor dies, the Forum of Presbyters and the Tiefemann Bund convene together to locate a figure from either the priesthood or high ranks of the Bund to either confirm the chosen successor or choose someone themselves should said successor be rejected or no successor was chosen.

On paper, non-partisan. In practice, it's complicated. Political parties aren't technically outlawed, but they are prohibited from participating in elections. However, "political action groups" - independently-organized and generally temporary groups dedicated to campaigning for a single issue or group of closely-related issues - do exist. These serve a somewhat similar purpose to parties in most systems, but people can be members of multiple groups at once.

The Empire of K-poptopia is officially a one-party state. The K-Pop Party is the only legally allowed political party.

HOWEVER, in the semi-autonomous territories, which have not yet begun to be fully integrated into the Empire, the K-Pop Party tolerates the existence of other parties, as the K-Pop Party only officially operates within the core areas and the areas formally undergoing girlgroupization of our Empire, with the caveat that any parties that advocate the independence of any region of K-poptopia are banned.

At the moment we are a quasi two-party system, but because the Freedom Party won by one of the largest landslides in history in our most recent election there are predictions that there will be a dominant party system if they win in the next two elections.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Sajur Romeri Getum, is also a member of the NSC. The NSC is led by Golbia's President, Tager Balari Artum. Minority parties include the Golbian Peasants and Workers Party (GPWP; 19 seats), the Losa People's Union (LPU; 10 seats), Democracy for Golbia (DG; 3 seats), and the Freedom Party of Golbia (FPG; 2 seats).

Dominant-party system with the People's Party being the national party of the People's Republic. While the People's Party remains dominant in national and provincial politics, in local politics various parties dominate instead as the People's Party prefers to focus on higher-level politics thus giving towns and cities autonomy in their respective politics.

Other than that, political parties don't matter much in Zhouran as factionalism is based among the moderate–hardline dichotomy.

Azmara currently has a multi-party system, although through various points in history it has been dominant-party or quasi two-party.

In the birth of the Commonwealth and universal suffrage after the 1849 Revolution, the nation possessed a quasi two-party system: the Forþgaaners (Progressives), who argued for a centralised, secular state, and the Jorśites, who felt that the Azmaran state should be a decentralised entity and develop a close relationship with the church. There were many other factions who viewed the liberal principles of the new nation in different ways, stretching from pan-Germanic ultranationalists to early socialists, yet these two stayed dominant, with the Forþgaaners being the more influential of the two factions.

As the country entered the 20th century, the two factions had coalesced into being a liberal party and a conservative party, yet both parties failed to strike a chord with the industrial working class, who turned to the Azmaran Section of the Workers' International, a syndicalist/council communist party as attempts to form non-socialist working class movements consistently failed. As this party grew in prominence, it established itself as the country's main left-wing force in the place of the Forþgaaners, who moved themselves to the centre as they became increasingly a middle-class party and formed the Gold Flame party.

The ASWI would enter government in 1921 with the support of the left of Gold Flame, who were expelled from the party and formed the New Liberals in response, which advocated for a more left-wing form of liberalism. However, this government would see internal tensions which would lead to the splintering of ASWI; many of the party's MPs found the leadership overtly revolutionary and thus split and formed the Workers' Party, while some found both this splinter and ASWI too internationally focused and formed the New Socialist Party.

1923 would see this government topple as the New Socialist Party would cross the floor and merge with the remains of the Jorśites, the pan-Germanic movement and other minor right-wing parties such as the rural-focused Farmers' Party to form the National Coalition, a conservative party which declared its primary aim to be "the destruction of the socialist ideology". While initially allied to Gold Flame, which had drifted to the right due to the New Liberal split and anti-socialist rhetoric, the 1924 election returned a majority for the National Coalition. The government would make some welfare reforms to try and placate the working classes, but also placed restrictions on the rights of trade unions and focused heavily on Azmaran nationalism and strengthening the family unit in society.

The movement would also become increasingly authoritarian as it presided over the Great War, suspending the 1927 and 1930 elections to focus on the war effort. However, invasions of the eastern countryside and a general strike in the industrial centre would lead to the government's fall as its Prime Minister was forced to resign in 1932 and a temporary coalition of the Workers' Party, the ASWI, Gold Flame and the New Liberals rewrote the constitution and withdrew Azmara from the war. The 1933 election saw the Workers' Party and the New Liberals, who rebranded as the Radicals, take power in a coalition and enter the war on the opposing, and ultimately victorious, side.

This coalition would dominate Azmaran politics for the next two decades as the National Coalition was dissolved and neither its various remnants nor Gold Flame could mount a challenge to its hegemony. However, a moderate faction of the National Coalition formed the Sotirian Democrats, who formed a government in 1954 with Gold Flame, ending the Workers' Party hegemony.

The Workers' Party, Gold Flame, the Sotirian Democrats and the Radicals have formed Azmara's four main parties since, switching government roles, yet other forces such as the right-wing populist People's Party, the Green Party, the left-wing populist Socialist Party and the regionalist Free Alliance 08 have challenged this in recent years.

The only elected positions in Polis Diamonil are national mascots, but the nation is de facto ruled by a shifting consensus of myriad parties (known in the nation as "factions"). The national mascot elections eventually proliferated into the system of "faction ambassadors". Although these are arguably the individually most powerful people in the nation, they have no statutory authority, and therefore none of them can get their way reliably. The Steelfeather Ambassador is the individual most readily mistaken for a head of state, due to representing a great swathe of the Administrative structure of Polis Diamonil, but even they have no more formal authority than any other faction ambassador.

Most of the elections, like all the sortition allotments picking people with actual authority, are set up to happen 'off-screen' in Polis Diamonil. The ambassadors are constantly being elected, re-elected, ejected from office, and very occasionally even dying without much notice. However much of a big deal these shifts may be within the nation, they're usually just minutiae in the international or grand historic sense.

Victores represents a synthesis of every described party system. Theoretically Victores only has one political party, the Inter-Socialist Front, or InterFront for short. However, this party is not allowed to participate in elections, does not campaign, and primarily functions as an "advisory body to the proletarian class". Most of the party's work is anti-capitalist agitprop, promoting socialist culture, and promoting the cooperative outlook on society through the Committee of the Revolution system. The InterFront has representatives from all groups of Victoresian society and functions most similarly to the Chinese Peoples' Consultive Congress. Organized parties in Victores do not exist. Their role is filled by the political league, which generally are much less centralized than western-style political parties. This model is to prevent the professionalization of politics, subvert corruption, and increase the level of direct democracy. There are countless political leagues represented in the Victoresian Council of Democracy, with many deputies being member of multiple political leagues at the same time.

The Japanese Democratic Republic is officially a single-party state. The position of the Socialist Labor Party in leading Japanese society towards socialism is constitutionally enshrined.

There are two other political parties, the Social Democratic Party of Japan and the National Liberation Association, but they work together with the Socialist Labor Party as part of the National Front for Liberation and Socialism and are required by law to be subservient to and accept the ruling authority of the Socialist Labor Party.

We are an one party totalitarian state. Actually it's complicated with no real political parties in power. After 1958 and the unsitting of Sygnam Rhee there has been constant politically uncertainly with a number of military dictators in power since. Each military dictator had their own believes and ideals therefore making parties unless. Plus elections were outlawed in 2003 by the current dictator Sung-pil Moon.

Hell has a multi-party system in which it is very easy for someone to legally found a new party. There are some limitations on what kind of parties may be formed (in accordance with defensive democracy; we are a democracy that wants very much to remain a democracy), no political party may be founded which does not believe in democracy or which otherwise seeks to remove democracy, but beyond things like that, founding a party legally is not difficult. There are hundreds of political parties in Hell. However, that does not mean all of them are relevant; only a small number are actually considered politically relevant, and most lack the numbers, reputation, prominence, or political views in line with the highly educated voting public to actually gain enough votes to even win a single seat in parliament. (This requires a minimum of .01% of the total votes.)

At the moment, only 8 parties have seats in parliament, and of those 8, only 5 are considered politically important (with the last 3 being somewhat on the political fringe as far as Hell's politics goes, and losing political relevance with each passing decade.) Those last 3 hold only 6.22% of the seats.
NS Stats don't even make sense for this. Canon policies are here. WA category is canon though!
