Many nations require its people, civil servents, soldiers and so forth to take an oath symbolic of their loyalty to the nation and government. What are yours?

Ours is:
"I, (Insert full name), do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the party and people of Crysuko, and all her laws and leaders. I stand with my comrades united for the socialist cause."

This holds true from politicians to soldiers, all are required to take this oath ceremonially where their peers can bear witness.

The pledge of allegiance in a Presidential inauguration is as follows, with other people required to take oaths (Politicians, judges, military officers, etc.) having a very similar pledge to recite:

"I, [Name] swear my allegiance to the Radiatian people and the Radiatian constitution. This oath is required for immigrants to gain citizenship(unless they are lex sanguine immigrants),
for personnel of the armed forces, for police officers, judges and assorted public officials.

Eigenland is a nation only in the loosest sense of the word, a union of sovereign, rational beings whose only "community" is other sovereign, rational beings with whom they wish to associate out of practical, egoistic desires. As such, any allegiance or pledge thereof is seen as an absurd construct to be discarded both as a concept and what it represents.

There is no official Pledge of Allegiance for the public. (We also don't sing the National Anthem at sporting events!) Military members, elected officials, police officers, and most other public servants must take an oath of office. The oaths of office differ but are usually something like:

Civilian version:
"I, <Firstname Patronymic>, solemnly swear to respect and uphold the Constitution of the Republic, to faithfully and excellently carry out the duties of my office, and to honor the trust placed in me by acting virtuously at all times."

Military version:
"I, <FIrstname Patronymic>, solemnly swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of Lancov, to protect her people and their rights, to obey all lawful orders of the President, General Staff, and the officers appointed above me, and to be just to those appointed beneath me. On pain of shame and dishonor, I shall act virtuously at all times."

Optionally, one may add the traditional "So help me, God" at the end. Conversely, adding "Long Live the Tsar" at the end will immediately disqualify the person from the office they're being sworn in to.

[Gandoor]

There exists no formal pledge of allegiance in Gandoor, at least for the average citizen, with the closest equivalents being the oath of office used by Members of the Forum and the Prime Minister and the Gandoorese Oath of Citizenship, which is the last formal step to acquiring Gandoorese citizenship for immigrants.

Oath of office:
'I, <full name>, solemnly affirm that I will utilize my position as a Member of the Forum/the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Gandoor in accordance with Constitution and laws of the Democratic Republic, will act accordingly in regards to the duties and expectations of my office, and will serve as a model for all Gandoorese.'

Gandoorese Oath of Citizenship:
'I, <full name>, solemnly affirm my loyalty to the Democratic Republic of Gandoor. I pledge to respect the rights and liberties granted to myself and others under the Constitution of the Democratic Republic and to obey and uphold the laws of the Democratic Republic.'

The text of the Oath remains the same regardless of the oath-taker's personal beliefs (or the lack of one); the English version is used solely in naturalization ceremonies.

[The Koranic]

The Koranic oath of alleigiance is recited by public employees, such as schoolteachers, doctors, and police officers, and public servants, such as politicians and civil servants, upon taking office in their respective jobs. It must be recited in Arabic.

English translation:
" I, [full name], swear by almighty Allah I am faithful to him, the Koran and to the Koranic nation and constitution. I swear that there is no God but Allah and that Prophet Muhammad - peace be upon him - is his prophet and messenger. I swear to uphold these prinicples and promises throughout the execution of my job and service to the Republic and to Allah almighty."

Under Erbonian law there is a distinction between homage and liegeance (which is synonymous with fealty or fidelity). Whilst all subjects are required to swear liegeance to the King, only certain lords are required to or may pay homage thereto.

All subjects are required to make an oath of liegeance when they turn of age, or prior. This is normally done immediately prior to the conferral of the sacrament of confirmation. The form of the oath is :

I, A. B., shall faith and troth bear unto our Sovereign Lord the King, his heirs and successours. So help me God.

Paying homage and swearing liegance which taken by all peers at a coronation or upon commendation is :

I, A., X. of Y., from this day forth do become your liege man and shall faith and troth of life and limb and of earthly worship bear unto you our Sovereign Lord the King against all men that may live and die and shall do and truly knowledge the service of the land I hold of you. So help me God.

Subjects may also be required to pay homage and swear liegeance to other subjects, which is given in the following form.

The pledge of allegiance when obtaining citizenship (after 7 years of residentship) and civilians is as follows:

I, (Insert full name, e.g. Chris Alex Smith), solemnly pledge allegiance to (Religious: God Almighty/irreligious: all who witnesses), the people, the constitution and the flag of the Federative Republic of Nacrad, and the Union of Christian Nations, that I shall offer the best of my ability to love, to defend, and to improve the Nation and the Union; and to love (Religious: my Lord Above/irreligious: my neighbours) and my fellow citizens as my own. May help descend upon me, and faith be within me to serve the Nation, the Union, the People (religious: and my Lord) under one banner.

The pledge upon joining the armed forces is as follows:

I, (Insert full name), solemnly pledge allegiance to (Religious: God Almighty/irreligious: my fellow comrades), the constitution, the People and the Flag of the Federative Republic of Nacrad, the Union of Christian Nations, and the Armed Forces of the Federative Republic of Nacrad, that I shall offer my life and my blood in the defence of the People, the Nation, (religious: the Lord Almighty) and whomsoever it may be, that I shall follow the orders of (religious: Lord Almighty), the Nation, the People and the Union to the best of my ability, and shall proudly carry the Nation towards (religious Lord's) glory and victory. The Socialist Federation of Ergoslatic requires all of its people to recite its pledge of allegiance.

English translation: "I, the proletariat of the Socialist Federation of Ergoslatic, shall relinquish private property for the benefit of the collective, and forever swear my life and my time in aiding the revolution and promoting the socialist cause, so that we can overthrow the greedy capitalist bourgeoisie and the reactionary theocratic monarchy, and free the proletariat across the world."

This is part of the citizenship test for immigrants, and it's recited in all schools, military bases, and government offices every morning. Those who don't chant this (or chant one of an enemy nation instead) tend to be incarcerated or executed.

[The Hindustani State]

It is recited at the start of each school or work day, and at official state events

For government ministers, the oath of office is in a question/answer format. Upon the coronation of a new Grand Duke or Grand Duchess they must take the oath again or resign.

Q: "Do you swear by your honor, to be a loyal servant of Grand (Duke / Duchess) ________ of Alzatia, and to faithfully perform the duties of your office?"

A: "Yes I do. Long live the Grand (Duke / Duchess)!"

For civil servants, the oath is printed on a sign or poster. Instead of swearing the oath verbally, the person signs his/her name in a book. Upon the coronation of a new Grand Duke or Grand Duchess, the book is replaced with a blank one and they must sign it again.

"I swear by my honor, to be a loyal servant of Grand (Duke / Duchess) ________ of Alzatia, and to faithfully perform the duties of my office. Long live the Grand (Duke /Duchess)!"

None except the usual oath on assuming state office or entering the Armed Forces.

public office:

Usually however in schools the day starts and ends with standing up, saluting a portrait of the Sultan (which hangs over every blackboard and entrance) and a loud "Padişahım çok yaşa!".

All citizens must recite the pledge during any formal events and/or after the national anthem is played. It must also be recited in schools and public offices. When reciting the pledge, the attendants are not required to do any salute. Non-citizen attendants are required to stand up during the recitation. However, any active serving members of the military are required to salute to the flag (if present) without saying anything (as they have their own pledge, the Soldier's Oath). There also exists a version in both High and Middle Popular, however, due to obscurity and the tendency for an aura of eliteness of both versions, the pledge was never done in both languages ever again. Public offices use this pledge with one added quirk. The reciter must hold their Holy Book with their right hand on the table, and afterward, said person kisses both the national flag and the popular flag. If the person is not a religious one, they hold their constitution (one is assigned to every citizen). Generally, if there's an indoor event and there are pictures of the Prime President, the Vice Prime President, and the National Emblem, this pledge will be done no matter what the event is.
