Introduction

The year is 2040. It's been 10 years since the end of World War 3. Unlike the fears of the late 20th and early 21st century, it wasn't total thermonuclear annihilation (except in the case of India and Pakistan). It was a devastating, yet, conventional war. There were fronts on every inhabited continent in the world, except Australia. Like every war, there were 2 major sides. The Entente, and the Brussels-Beijing pact. This domino effect that killed over 730 million people worldwide started from the death of one man. President Donald J Trump.

Timeline Of Events

The Prelude To Global War

December 2019: America was more politically polarized than ever. Impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump are in full swing. The Republicans are doing whatever they can to stop the impeachment. The Democrats are doing whatever they can to Impeach the President. The house votes to impeach him. He is not removed from office however.

January 2020: Bushfires rage across Australia. An Iranian General is killed in Baghdad, sparking concerns about a potential war against Iran. All American civilians in Iraq start returning to America. Calls to impeach the president by the left are growing. An outbreak of Coronavirus ravages Wuhan. The Senate Trial of Trump begins. Tensions are rising across America and the world. Iran promises retaliation against America, and they will get it.

February 2020: On February 7th, President Donald J Trump is assassinated by an Iranian agent disguised as a reporter during a conference in the white house press room regarding the impeachment trial. A large state funeral is held. Since he was in the midst of his impeachment, a power vacuum is left in the oval office. The question becomes, who will take over? Vice President Mike Pence, or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi? This new political power struggle would last for 2 months, with no acting President in that time.

April 2020: This power struggle has gone on for 2 months when the Supreme Court finally gets involved. The Democrats argue that Mike Pence was involved in the Ukrainegate scandal, and should not become president. The Republicans argue that the impeachment only concerned the President, while the line of succession should have the Vice President take the presidency. The Supreme Court rules in favor of the Republicans. Mike Pence is sworn into office on April 28th. Most Democrats are extremely unhappy with Mike Pence taking the oval office. Protests occur in Washington DC. That's when some state governments start to plan something drastic. Secession from the Union.

May 2020: California's state government declares secession from the Union. Oregon, Washington, Colorado and Massachusetts follow within the next 2 weeks. The Federal Government declares war against the breakaway states. The Second American Civil War begins. The states along the West Coast form the 'Pacific States of America'. The New England states, New York, New Jersey and Delaware have seceded by the end of the month.

June 2020: Military personnel in Democrat-occupied States begin revolts against the Secessionists. The UK, South Korea and Japan start sending supplies and soldiers to help the United States. Germany and Canada start to send supplies to the Democrats. NATO dissolves in the midst of this chaos. Antifa Revolutionaries attempt a violent revolution in Los Angeles. Los Angeles falls to Antifa Revolutionaries and becomes the 'Los Angeles Commune'. Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan secede from the Union. They declare the 'Great Lakes Republic'. White Nationalist Militias engage in clashes with the West Virginia National Guard. The death toll on all sides is already at over 100,000. Defcon reaches 2 for the second time in history.

July 2020: An unofficial ceasefire on all sides is put into place on July 4th. Soldiers from opposite sides exchanged greetings, talked, and drank. There were even barbeques amongst lines of barbed wire. The next day, it went back to a state of war, and destruction. Chicago is put under siege by 15 US infantry divisions. The Los Angeles Commune collapses as Pro-Democrat militias finally liberate the city from Antifa rule. Saudi Arabia starts aiding the US. Israel, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil start sending aid to the US. Cuba, France, Venezuela and Sweden start sending supplies to the Democrats. Libertarians successfully coup the Democrat-controlled state of New Hampshire. The last olympic games until 2034 are held in Tokyo.

August 2020: The European Union begins to send aid to the Democrats, which causes tension with the UK and the Visegrad Nations. Russia and China start supporting opposite sides. Russia starts aiding the US, while China aids the Democrats. Antifa Guerillas cause a gas attack in San Francisco that kills 50,000 people. A coup overthrows Maduro in Venezuela, sparking a civil war. China and Russia officially cut diplomatic ties with each other. Pro-Democrat uprisings occur in Indianapolis, Baltimore, and Washington DC. Marshall law is declared in those cities. A small skirmish occurs on the Sino-Russian border. After the skirmish, China officially declares war on the Russian Federation. World War 3 has officially begun.

The Third World War

September 2020: The European Union declares war on Russia. The Visegrad Nations and the UK declare war on the EU. Turkey and Ukraine ally with the EU. Greece and Bulgaria betray the EU and attempt to invade Turkey. Armenia joins in on the invasion of Turkey. Azerbaijan declares war on Armenia. Russia annexes Georgia to help the Armenian military. India declares war on China, which brings in Pakistan. North Korea declares neutrality. China starts to invade Taiwan. The ASEAN nations declare war on China. Canada invades Alaska, while allying with China. African American Militias begin clashing with the military in several southern states. Iran, Iraq, and Syria ally with China. The rest of the Arab world allies with Russia. Brazil declares war on Venezuela, Peru and Argentina. Argentina attempts to invade the Falkland islands. Chile, Columbia, Guyana, Uruguay and Paraguay ally with Brazil. Several Central American countries declare war on Mexico. Australia and New Zealand ally with Russia.

Late 2020: The Freedom Tower and Empire State building are bombed by terrorists. The Radical New Hampshire Libertarians are in a stalemate with Pro-Democrat militias. Democrat-controlled Colorado surrenders after famine and resource shortages hit the state hard. Delaware finally surrenders after half of the state's population is displaced. After a skirmish on the Sino-North Korean border, North Korea declares war on China. Harbin and Tianjin are nuked. A retaliatory strike against Pyongyang is shot down by South Korean defenses. The North Korean military begins a massive offensive into Manchuria and towards Chinese-occupied Vladivostok. EU naval forces Clash with the UK in the English Channel. Czechia surrenders in November. Mike Pence wins the 2020 election, with basically no real opposition. China halts the North Korean offensive by early December. Nationalists spark civil wars in Italy and Finland. Anti-war riots occur throughout France. Hezbollah sparks a civil war in Lebanon. Serbia declares war on the EU and Kosovo. Albania sides with the EU. M1 Abram tank divisions start moving into upstate New York and Oregon. The entire UK military evacuates to the home islands to defend them from the EU. The Baltic states and Belarus ally with Russia out of fear of being annexed. Bloody urban warfare occurs in Istanbul, Detroit, Chicago, Budapest and Naples.

Year 2021: China officially begins the 'Red Winter' offensive into Siberia. There are no longer any US military personnel in Alaska, as it has become a battleground between Canadian and Russian forces. Belize and Guatemala surrender to Mexico. Panama surrenders to Columbia. A border conflict between Sudan and South Sudan results in the East African Community declaring war on the Arab League. Congo-Brazzaville and Angola declare war on the DRC. South Africa and Namibia declare war on Angola. South Africa invades and annexes Lesotho. South Africa and Zimbabwe declare war on Mozambique. Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, and Gambia declare war on Senegal, Guinea, Liberia, Ghana, Benin, Niger, Chad and Cameroon. West Sahara declares independence from Morocco. Ethiopia declares war against Somalia and Eritrea. Hungary and Slovakia have surrendered to the EU. Canadian forces invade Montana and North Dakota. Illinois and Minnesota have been reconquered by the United States. Turkey surrenders to the Entente. Top politicians from the EU, China, Canada, Argentina, Iran, and Pakistan meet in Berlin and officially create the Brussels-Beijing pact. Trench warfare is use along many fronts. Such as Poland, Manchuria, California, New York State, and Kashmir. Global casualty counts are at over 10 million worldwide. Massive air battles occur over major cities such as Seoul, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Warsaw, London, Ottawa and Tehran. Iraq collapses.

Year 2022: There's a stalemate on the Siberian front as winter temperatures plummet to -60°F in some places. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan join the Entente. Poland has fallen to the EU. Chinese paratroopers land in South Korea in a surprise invasion. Syria, Iraq, and Azerbaijan have finally fallen. Kurdistan declares independence. New Jersey and Oregon surrender to the US. The siege of New York City begins. Wisconsin and Michigan are still partially holding out. Secessionists coup the State government of Texas, declaring the Texan Republic. Buenos Aires falls to Brazil. Pakistan is on the verge of collapse. In desperation, they fire their nuclear arsenal at India. India quickly retaliates. March 28th becomes the deadliest single day in human history. Nearly half a billion people die in the nuclear exchange. Defcon 1 is declared for the first time in history. The United Nations collapses. Radiation starts significantly affecting the Indian subcontinent. Many more die in the coming days, months, and years as radioactive fallout takes its toll on the region. Refugees start massing on the borders of neighboring countries. A month-long ceasefire occurs on all fronts due to war going nuclear. All world leaders fear mutually assured destruction. About a month later, despite this terrible event, the war goes continues. A minor nuclear winter begins that will last until 2037.

2023-2025: The Central American countries fall to Mexico and Colombia. Peru surrenders to Brazil. Washington and New York surrender to the US. The invasion of California begins. The US pushes back the Canadian invasion of its mainland. Texas enters a civil war between the secessionists and anti-secessionists. Mike Pence creates an executive order to force First and Second-Generation Chinese-Americans into internment camps in Nebraska, Kansas, and Indiana. The EU begins planning for operation 'sea lion', the invasion of the United Kingdom. The EU conquers Lithuania and Belarus. The European invasion of Russia begins. South Korea pushes back against the Chinese invasion. SpaceX successfully lands on Mars in 2025 after many setbacks. North Korea starts using chemical warfare against Chinese soldiers. Luanda, Angola is put under siege. South Sudan falls. China issues an ultimatum to Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to surrender or be invaded. They all join the Entente. Chinese forces start retreating from Siberia to invade Mongolia. A violent revolution occurs in Hong Kong. Taiwan finally pushes back against the Chinese invasion. Russia directly annexes Kazakhstan. Finland switches sides as its civil war ends.

2026-2028: Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston are under siege. US marines begin an offensive into Toronto. Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Vermont have been taken back. Libertarian New Hampshire rejoins the US willingly. Texas rejoins the US after the anti-secessionists take Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Quebec declares independence from Canada. Venezuela finally falls to Brazilian troops. The invasion of Britain is scrapped by EU generals after American and Brazilian naval forces defeat them. EU forces are halted at the gates of Moscow by -70°F temperatures and Russian tank divisions. Russia takes Alaska from the Canadians and begins an invasion of British Columbia. China has already lost 50 million people in the fighting. The US and Mexico begin a joint invasion of Cuba. Argentina surrenders in October of 2028. Russia begins a massive counter-offensive into both Europe and China. North Korean forces take Vladivostok from Chinese occupation. Both Tibet and East Turkestan declare independence from China. Nationalists win the civil war in Italy and join the Entente. Romania switches sides after Bucharest is captured by Bulgaria. Vietnamese forces siege the island of Hainan. By Christmas of 2028, Warsaw and Budapest have been liberated.

2029-2030: California, Massachusetts, and Maine surrender to the US. Boston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles are almost in complete ruins. After the US takes Vancouver and Ottawa, Canada surrenders to the US. Vienna falls under Italian occupation. British, American, Australian and Brazilian troops land in Calais, France. A joint US-Moroccan invasion of Spain begins. Portugal switches sides. The East African community, Angola, Mozambique, Nigeria, West Sahara, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Somalia, Eritrea, and Congo-Brazzaville surrender. Russia launches a final offensive towards Berlin. China has been completely pushed out of Russia. American, Japanese, South Korean, Taiwanese, Indonesian and Australian forces land in Shanghai. Spain surrenders in November of 2029. The Dutch military destroys the Delta works, causing large-scale flooding. They surrender in December of 2029. Berlin falls to Russian forces in December of 2029. American forces reach Paris that same month. That Christmas, a nuclear terrorist attack occurs in Jacksonville, Florida. 300,000 are killed in the attack. Belgium surrenders after British and American forces take Brussels in January of 2030. Cuba surrenders just a month later. France launches a series of tactical nuclear strikes along the Pyrenees mountains and the Rhine river. 10 million are killed in the attacks including the entire nation of Andorra. France surrenders after the UK launches a retaliatory strike on Bordeaux. Russia and North Korea launch a final offensive towards Beijing. China is being invaded from all sides. Beijing falls to Russian forces in July of 2030. China officially surrenders on August 19th, 2030, after its entire coastline has been lost to the Entente forces. Iran surrenders the next day. World War 3 officially ends after an armistice is signed in Geneva on August 30th. The treaty of New York is signed in the old United Nations building on October 3rd, 2030.

Tierra del Fuego is to become a British dominion. Buenos Aires will be under joint UK-Brazilian occupation until 2035. Brazil will annex French Guiana.

Areas along the Pyrenees mountains and the Rhine river are to be declared as 'No-go zones' until 2040. Bulgaria is to annex North Macedonia and parts of Romania. Iran also loses and to: Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Armenia. The Russian annexations of Georgia and Kazakhstan are to be permanent. Russia and Armenia are to split Azerbaijan. Armenia also takes lands from Turkey. The rest of Turkey will be renamed the 'Anatolian Republic'. India and Pakistan are to be designated as 'No-go' zones until 2060. Refugee zones are to be established along nations that border India and/or Pakistan. Tibet, East Turkestan, and Hong Kong are to maintain their independence. Manchuria will be under Joint Russian-North Korean occupation until 2035. Beijing will be be divided into American, Russian, Japanese, and North Korean occupation zones until 2035. New Caledonia will be under Australian occupation until 2033. After which, it will be an independent nation. French Polynesia is to be annexed by the United States as 'The Greater Tahiti Territory'.

Section 7: Other

The United Nations is to be reestablished by 2035. The permanent members of the U.N.Security council with veto power are the following: The United States of America, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, The Russian Federation, The Federative Republic of Brazil, and The State of Japan. The remaining members of the Brussels-Beijing pact and their allies are to pay the Entente no less than $5,000,000,000,000 in war reparations. France and China are to admit to waging aggressive war.

The Aftermath

And so, the world moved on. The soldiers who survived returned to their families and countries. The treaty of New York had brought the largest shift in Geopolitics in history. Nations were devastated by the death toll and damage to infrastructure. An entire generation was almost obliterated by the war. But the world moved on. Here's what happened in the decade after the war.

2030-2035: The Republican party holds political hegemony in the US. No party has yet emerged to fill the gap left by the fall of the Democrats. The US returns to isolationism in order to repair infrastructure and the economy. America's territory in Canada officially becomes 9 new US States. A series of large-scale reforms occur in the Media and Academia in an attempt to make America less politically polarized. The reconstruction of Jacksonville begins in 2033. Russia renames itself to the 'Eurasian Federation'. A series of economic reforms occur in North Korea, turning it into a capitalist (but still totalitarian) society over the next 5 years. India and Pakistan are still in complete ruin. Nepal and Bhutan now have more Indian refugees than actual citizens. China has gone from the 2nd largest economy in the world, to an unimportant backwater where radical ideologies start to spring up. In an important UN meeting, a decision is reached to ban all nuclear weapons. In Europe, all sorts of political ideologies start to gain incredible popularity. Monarchists win elections in Germany, and Georg Friedrich Prince of Prussia is declared as 'Kaiser'. Socialists win elections in Spain, Greece, and Flanders. Nationalist parties win elections across Eatsern Europe.

2035-Present: Technocrats, Libertarians, and Democratic Socialists get several electoral votes each in the 2036 US elections. Chinese politics becomes divided between Neo-Maoists, Fascists, and Liberals. The Eurasian Federation faces political divide between Conservatives, Communists, Ultranationalists, and Orthodox Theocrats. North Korea faces a succession crisis in 2037 after Kim Jong Un dies of an undiagnosed liver disease. A failed coup occurs against the Saudi Arabian monarchy. Spain descends into civil war in 2038 between Socialists and Monarchists. Nationalists win elections in the Netherlands. Small nations pop up out of former India and Pakistan as radiation levels start to decrease to safe levels. Sri Lanka violates the treaty of New York and attempts to colonize parts of South India. Radical Islamists seize control of East Turkestan. Radiation levels in the Pyrenees and the Rhine finally decrease to safe levels.

It is New Years Day in Anatolia. People are cheering, as a new year has passed. People are happy with this, as it marks the 120th anniversary of the Turkish nation. But, alas, they will never forget the shame that WW3 has brought upon them and their nation. Things without Istanbul are just not the same. Split apart among the Greeks, Kurdish, and Armenians, millions of Turkish people apart from their home country, just because of Turkey joining the war. The Anatolian flag stands high above Ankara.

Upon the desk laid dozens of papers, messily set out. At it sat the prime minister, Britain's youngest since the 18th century, Edward Ashleigh. Since his election to Parliament less than nine years ago at the second khaki-coupon election, his career's trajectory had been nothing short of meteoric. But of course the path for a young upstart to do such a thing had been cleared by Dominic Cummings and his sweeping reform of government that had destroyed the old guard - that man's successes were perhaps most obvious in the fact that this northerner was a Conservative, a Tory, like all prime ministers since Brown.

He was in power. And him being in power meant the "liberalists" had every reason to decry the statism and soft authoritarianism of the National Government, the presence of surveillance cameras on every street in London, the restrictions on freedom of speech. All those little things that meant that, despite the Special Relationship and a common language, Britain wasn't really anything like the United States at all. The alignment of the two was nothing but an accident, the result of everything spiralling out of control during the Third World War. Fighting alongside the Americans had in truth only further revealed how different the two countries were from one another.

The Americans had declared abortion, wealth taxes, income taxes above 30% unconstitutional. In Britain, less than 5% of the population "strongly" or "very strongly" opposed abortion. In Britain, well, the window tax had been around since before the United States existed, hadn't it? And, of course, the country had proved open to some of Trump's ideas. In Britain, the top rate of income tax was double that at 60%, what Thatcher had reduced it to when she came to power in 1979. Politically, on all these issues that mattered so much to the Americans they had amended their constitution over them, and even more than just those, the two couldn't be more different.

This was the country the UK had agreed to repeal all tariffs with. This was the country the UK depended on. This was the country that had gone from covertly supporting the Irish Republican Army to backing British rule over all of Ireland. What a foolish move that had been. What did Britain have to show for it? A dead king? No, not just that, also an insurgency the British Army had spent the last decade trying and failing to deal with.

Things had to change.

Pickett stood at an unimpressive 4 feet and ten inches, looking somewhat taller due to the podium he was standing on. The setting of his speech was unimpressive, being at an Irish pub that his father frequents. Wearing a red shirt with a sailor collar and a knee-length skirt, Pickett declared, "Comrades, compatriots! Two centuries and a half ago, our great nation was founded by heroes who fought against the tyranny of the British. Yet, like in all revolutions, usurpers have hijacked their glorious cause for their own ends. In Russia, it was the Bolsheviks. In America, it was the Federalists. Do not be fooled by the Libertarian and Republican claims of being for 'limited government'. They only want a government that socializes losses and privatizes profits in the name of the corrupt, capitalist class!"

On cue, a Redshirt played an audio file of applause and cheering, while the people in the pub were minding their own business. "That is why the gains of the so-called 'economic prosperity' are uneven. The government is tailored to the needs of the corrupt capitalist class! They have sold America to the ni-"

"Shut up ya commie!" a drunken man yelled out, "If you like socialism so much, why not just leave America!"

"I am not for the social-" Pickett tried to speak up before being interrupted again.

"Go back to the South, you racist! I mean, look at this flag," heckler yelled out.

"It looks like a joke!" the heckler continued before burping, "And, your uniforms are ridiculous. Red shirts? It's like you're begging to be shot!"

"T-The red shirt is like that of Garibald-" Pickett tried to say before a milkshake was thrown at his general direction.

"Get out you fascist!" a hooded figure demanded from the direction the milkshake was thrown from. He had several black-clad Antifa flanking him.

"Folks like me were killing Nazis while your kind were in diapers! You fuck off, you n----r-loving cuckold!" Pickett spat in return, several Redshirts who were his personal friends coming to his side.

They refused to budge, instead grabbing whatever objects they can find and chucking them at Pickett and the other Redshirts. From there, the scene devolved into a bar fight, with Redshirts and Antifa fighting each other. Some of them were even veterans of the 2nd American Civil War, on opposing sides. Slurs were chucked along with objects as the brawl grew out of control.

"STOP IT! STOP IT!" the bar-owner cried out in vein.

"See the fake, negroid socialists cry and holler about racism as they ignore the gross inequality that global capital has created!" Pickett spoke from his podium as the Redshirts fought Antifa, "The Tree of Liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and their sycophantic scab lackeys! They have taken the Democratic Party from us and ran it down to the ground! Take back socialism from the negro and spic scab! A socialism of liberty, equality, and fraternity! The syndicalism and mutualism of-"

CRASH! A bottle was chucked at Pickett's podium, shattering into pieces.

"PROUDHON! AND, NOT THE SOCIALISM OF LENIN AND TROTSKY! THE BUTCHERS OF KRONSTADT!" Pickett shouted loudly.

"You dare take Proudhon's cause, you fascist?!" an anarchist with a black bandana shouted as he charged Pickett, only to be shoved into the ground by a Redshirt. Pickett, meanwhile, gave up on the speech and fled the scene. He was probably going to be banned from that bar for life.

Tuesday, January 31st, 2040, 8:49 EST, Washington DC, United States of America:

As Joshua Hawley, the forty-eighth President of the United States, prepared to issue his fourth State of the Union address, he found himself, for the first time in months, rather relaxed. Hawley had been a politician for years, and while he felt acutely the weight of the office of the Presidency on his shoulders, he was confident in his ability to give a speech, and relished the opportunity. As his eyes caught upon a portrait of the forty-fifth President of the United States, Donald John Trump, Hawley vividly recalled the day, twenty years ago, when as the junior senator from Missouri, he witnessed Trump's last State of the Union address, a mere three days before he was to die. He recalled how then Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped up Trump's speech at the end in the sight of all present. He chuckled quietly, as he recalled being extraordinarily outraged at this event. If only he had known what events were to pass; events which would make this look like a laughable triviality...

Hawley had looked up to President Trump in nearly all things, and today prided himself upon being a continuation of a presidency tragically cut short. His first action as President of the United States had been to push Congress to adopt those pieces of legislation which Trump had pushed for before his death. Some, such as a ban on late-term abortions, were merely symbolic at this point, while others, such as those dealing with healthcare, were more controversial. He struggled to fund the government under the terms of the 29th amendment, which, although he would never admit it publicly, he was suspicious of. He attempted to imitate Trump in foreign affairs as well, a strategy which irritated many allies, but which he found successful nonetheless.

The moment all assembled had been waiting for arrived; the chamber rang with the Sergeant-at-Arms' cry: "Mister Speaker, The President of the United States." President Hawley made his way to the front of the House chamber, shaking hands and greeting legislators as he had so many times before. Speaker of the House Patrick McHenry introduced Hawley in the traditional manner: "Members of Congress, I have the high privilege and distinct honor of presenting to you the President of the United States," and the forty-eighth president began his speech.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the 126th congress, the State of the Union is strong. My administration is proud to have led these last few years of what has been a decade of peace and prosperity..."

And so Hawley continued, outlining the Second War on Drugs and planned infrastructure programs. Towards the middle of the speech, Hawley declared "Thank God for the 28th amendment!" This was followed by loud applause from the right side of the chamber, while the socialists and technocrats on the left side of the chamber were less than amused. A chant was taken up by the socialists: "Hey, ho hey, it's their vagina, stay away!" Hawley was sorely tempted to call out these socialists for supporting the murder of now-US citizens, but he decided against it, and to instead stick to the speech. The president then moved on to talk about foreign policy. He stated his support for the continuation of the tariff-free policy with the UK, stating that for all intents and purposes of the law, trade with the UK ought be "just like trade with any US state." At this, Vice-President Ron DeSantis grimaced. DeSantis knew that the Special Relationship was not nearly as strong as it had been, and he dreaded possible diplomatic blowback at the UK being referred to as just like another US state, even though that wasn't what Hawley meant. After talking a little about a recent meeting with Japan, in memory of the forty-fifth president, Hawley wrapped up the speech just as Trump had once wrapped up so many speeches: "We will make America strong again, we will make America safe again, and yes, we will Make America Great Again." The Republicans applauded wildly, and many Libertarians joined in.

“Fellow members of the People’s Congress...” the words of the President of China and Secretary of the CPSP echoed through the room, the thousands of representatives that once inhabited the halls have reached in only the hundreds now, after such a horrible loss and the only way to retain control was to reduce the size of the Congress lest they had a majority of one of the opposition parties. “I wish to thank all of you, for the survival of our nation and though the end of the year of the goat I’d indeed coming closer, we must not look towards the past but to the future. The year of the monkey will be a year for the people, a year for the rebuilding of China. To rebuild the damages that the conflict brought to our doorsteps. The betrayal of all our allies, the mistakes the previous administration made, and to the continued people’s revolution that will never end. As the true power of China is in the hearts of all of you, to restore everything and to bring us back to the world stage as a superpower this nation was meant to be. I thank all of you...” with the final words, everyone in the Congress began to clap, it was a monotone clapping that brought forward no care about the words spoken.

In the back of the Congress, two were clapping frantically, but no one could hear them. “Sir, can you believe what he said? We will rebuild China and make it a superpower again!”

Th other man shook his head, turning away from the younger officer he was next to, indoctrination’s committee needs to lighten up a little with their efforts, “it’s all just lies and empty promises. The president knows he is losing power, especially in the United Front. So he is trying to get the Ultranationalists on his side, the poor fool.”

“But...China will be made a superpower again..right?”

“Trust me, we know it will.”

Within the military installation, which many in the government thought was entirely abandoned after the war was actually the main staging point for the People’s Liberation Army High Command and the Ministry if Internal Security. It was also here where the high command vowed to restore China the way it was meant to be, through soldiers who fought and died with leaders to make those deaths mean something and to change the world, just as Mao did.

But of course, times had changed, “Tell me, what have our men managed to extract from their times within these paramilitary nationalist movements in our nation...” asked one of the generals in the room, “are they a threat? Are they receiving support from within? Tell me!”

The secretary flinched, he hated when they yelled at her, she could only do so much so fast and this was no exception. Trying to get their coffee ready while answering important questions involving the future of the nation and sometimes the world, you’d think it would be easy...which was a joke to think in the first place. In the end, she did was she was told, “What the reports state...is that the..Chinese Nationalist party is funding them...along with many PLA members joining their groups to continue the fight they believe was not lost. One especially got into a high position and learned that they are planning to support nationalist movements in other countries to restore lost territory...they are planning on sending arms and ammunition, including anti-tank weaponry into Inner Mongolia, along with infiltrating officers to train them...”

“So they really are making moves...I must admit I thought nationalists were the extremely loud kind that only yelled with no action. But these men, especially with the difference of Chinese to Mongolians, we should be able to regain our lost lands while once again dominating Mongolia. Sure it will but the Russians at odds, but we can convince members in the National Congress to get them a demilitarized zone between Mongolia and the trans-Siberian. Though I’m sure Russia is too busy caring about Europe to deal with Asia, they are a large nation and don’t want to break their prosperity. They are most likely doing the same in Xinjiang and Yunnan too...them being mostly Han Chinese...we will cause many conflicts across the region. But it will be necessary to restore our nation, I will sign off on the loss of equipment including several tanks and pieces of artillery. I’ll need a direct line to the strategic support services to start hacking into Mongolian systems to get them back up to speed before we try hacking into more high tech systems like in the south, Japan or possibly even Russia or America. We cannot play conventionally anymore, we need to change the paradigm to our favor and then, perhaps we will have a chance.”

It is now Dusk in Izmir. The people gather in the streets to watch this event. The Folkart Towers grow brilliantly with the fall of the Sun. Now, the countdown starts. People wait, and wait, and wait. When the countdown hits 10 seconds, people start to count down the remaining numbers.

10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

The fireworks launch, creating a glorious glow, able to be seen from the southern hills. Cheering is heard through all chambers and ways in Izmir. This marks the beginning of the event.

Streets of Izmir, 8:00 PM

The mayor of Izmir comes out in public for the first time in months. People assume that he is still traumatized from the Battle of Izmir.He has guards by his side.

"Hello, my Anatolian friends..." he says with appreciation. "I want to thank you all for being here at this event. As you all know, the year is 2040. It is the 3020th anniversary of Izmir being recorded. This truly is a grand day for all of us Turks." He continues his speech, mentioning our greatest moments in history. "Then, here we are now. A shadow of what we once were. The Greeks, the Armens, the Kurdish. Split among them. We will have our reawakening someday... some... day..." The mayor walks off of the podium. Claps are heard throughout Izmir. The New-Years Event continues on, with people cheering. This shall be renowned as the happiest year of Anatolia.

Izmir, 10:00 PM
The noise starts to die down. People begin to return home. The mayor sits down in his office, and closes his eyes. He is interrupted by his Secretary.

"Sorry to bother you, sir. We found out that there was an attempted bombing at your speech. Fortunately, he wasn't able to carry out the act. The man says he is from Eurasia, but he looks Kurdish. We found his accent to be Armenian, and the dynamite he was carrying appears to be manufactured in Greece."

"WHAT?! How did he pass airport securi-"

His secretary stops him.

"He didn't come from the airport. We found a vehicle labeled as Kurdish in Tire. We asked the mayor of Tire about it, but he doesn't know about it."

"They take our land, and then are attempting to terrorize our people!" he grumbles. "I'm going to call the President. Hopefully he'll do something about this."

Ankara, 11:00 PM
The President of Anatolia is sitting in his office peacefully. His mobile device starts to ring. It is shown as 'Berat Yavuz'. He answers.

"Ah, the mayor of Izmir. What is the situation that you need to call me for?"

"Yes, Demir. There was an attempted bombing in Izmir today by a Kurdish man, identified as Aferin Kamandi. He has been deported back to Kurdistan. What do you propose we do about the situation?"

"Hmm... we will hold a next month then. All Anatolian ministers and commanders will be there, as well as the mayors of a few large cities... We shall discuss it in Ankara."

"Ah, the meeting. I forgot about that. We shall discuss it there, then."

Berat ends the call, and closes his eyes again. His secretary leaves the room, and turns off the lights.

Late at night on February 4th, 2040, the elderly Doctor Rand Paul was alone, driving north from his home in Kentucky, towards Cincinnati. He had served five terms as a US senator, and five was enough. He had told his constituents that he would not run for another term. Having gotten home from Washington the day before, he was now deep in thought, driving roads he had driven many times before, looking for something to distract him.

Following a break from the Republican party in 2034, Paul had been a core member of the newly invigorated Libertarian Party. He refused to run for president, however, in 2036, despite the urging of many Libertarians. Now, in 2040, Dr. Paul been voted second in the Libertarian Party's Iowa Caucus, despite officially declaring that he was not running, and urging Libertarians not to vote for him. He didn't want to be president, but he was not a fan of President Hawley, who was expected to win a second term. Paul blamed the worsening criminal justice system in the United States on Hawley's overzealous attacks on anything and everything drug, and was wary of Hawley's refusal to negotiate a similar tariff-free arrangement with Japan as with the UK, something which Paul believed was long overdue. Moreover, Paul saw no need to continue to place punitive tariffs and sanctions on the PRC, while Hawley still pushed for a total embargo until war reparations were paid in full.

Eventually, Dr. Paul pulled off Interstate 75, and drove towards a certain Irish pub in the north of Cincinnati. The owner and bartender of this pub happened to be a good friend of his. As Paul stepped out of his 2037 Ford Fiesta, he noticed the inside of the bar was in disarray. He walked in nonetheless, and asked the bartender what had happened.

"This nation is a warzone, I tell you, Doctor Paul," replied the bartender. "Those black-suited terrorists Antifa got into it with some commie midget and his goons. He gave one of those "workers of the world, unite!" speeches, yelled about something that sounded like Proud-hun, and then ran out."

"Ah, Mutualists..." Responded Paul, deep in thought. Those who were watching closely might have been able to see something snap in his normally calm demeanor. After spending fifteen seconds silent, Rand Paul spoke again, softly but clearly:

"How long, dear God, how long will we have to wait while our people, in our cities, are either incarcerated, or radicalized and cartelized, in the pursuit of ending drugs? There are few men who hate drugs more than myself, but fighting a supply war is not the solution, and is bound to fail."

Dr. Paul paused, and continued, louder and stronger. People in the bar were starting to watch him, most recognizing Paul as the famous Libertarian.

"Communists and mutualists fighting each other in bars is not the mark of a civilized society! The Republicans, for all of their talk for an entire decade, have yet to prove capable of bringing about the return to normalcy this nation so deserves. And fighting a vain war against drugs, with the American people as collateral damage, will never bring about such a change! The only way this nation will ever recover the civility it enjoyed in generations past, and advance into a prosperous future, is with the guiding light of freedom. I say, ladies and gentlemen, I can no longer stand back as Republicans strive to turn this nation into another nanny state!"

A man in the bar yelled out: "Dr. Paul, are you running for president?"

Paul responded, in a quieter, but intense voice: "I. Have. No. Choice."

Many videos were taken of this impromptu speech, and quickly, these videos reached every major news station in the United States.

And as the story broke across the nation the next morning, a junior field reporter for Fox News, Elizabeth Hastley, was researching more into the bar-fight. Eventually, she came upon a name: Pickett. Casey F. Pickett. Hoping to break the story in time for the 7 o'clock evening news hour, Hastley and her crew set out to introduce all of America to the man who had caused Doctor Rand Paul to run for president...

Casey was living in a small tiny house that he had bought from his Youtube money. Though having a significant online influence from his videos, it didn't really translate to real-world influence. He sighed as he looked out the window, depressed and growing a red fuzz all over his effeminate face. This entire thing was a fiasco. He's going to be the laughing stock of the nation. "After years of getting the courage to speak out in public, I ruined it all. Even worse, I ruined a guy's bar. Sure, I didn't start the fight, but I didn't help matters."

He turned around to look at his desktop and video consoles. "Maybe, I should play some vidya, and all my troubles will wash away," Pickett thought aloud as he hopped out of his small bed. "And, maybe a snack too! Like peanut butter and jelly!" he cheered before twirling his dress. "I'll send the bar owner an apology for everything, it's the least I can do."

Little did he know that he was about to be thrust into the national stage.

As Rand Paul's surprise announcement of candidacy continued to send shockwaves throughout the nation, Elizabeth Hastley and her camera crew pulled up to a nondescript house in the early afternoon of Sunday, February 5th. She walked up to the house, and knocked on the door. A few seconds later, a feminine looking man, significantly shorter than Elizabeth herself, answered the door. "Good afternoon, is this Casey Pickett?" Hastley asked. Pickett gave a nod, unsure of what she and her crew were doing there. "You were in a bar-fight last night, is that right?"

Pickett meeped as he slowly closed the door. "I d-didn't mean to start it. I-I'm s-sorry! I'll pay for the damages!" he apologized, hiding behind his door. It was a complete 180 from the Pickett of the rally. The 'Grand Wizard', behind the curtain, was a meek man. Rather sure now that she had found the right person, Hastley laughed, and continued: "No, don't worry, I'm not with the police. I'm Elizabeth Hastley, Fox News. I'd like to talk to you a little about the circumstances and arguments which started that bar-fight..."

Description:
This convention was called by President Emin Demir on January 2nd 2040. It is a yearly convention created in 2030 after WW3, where the leading commanders, ministers, and some more can discuss plans about the future of Anatolia. For this convention, major commanders, lead ministers, 5 of the Senior Council, and the mayors of the 10 largest cities were called to this convention. People are not permitted to spectate this event since 2033, as data leaks from previous recordings have lead to some problems. The room to hold these meetings are suspected to be on the 4th floor of the main government office. In this room, there are at least 50 seats, 40 of which are placed directly around a table which looks to be made from a rare, Dragons Blood Tree. The room is painted white, with a large screen at both ends of the room. There are charging ports embedded within the table, which are used specifically for governmental purposes.

The darkness of the room would have been complete if not for the orange light emitted by the curved computer screens forming a luminous crescent which was following the shape of the heavy, classically designed mahogany desk. A fusion of the new and the old, a bit like the Poland itself. Indeed, Poland was an old idea, an old nation, and just like anything old it had old enemies and old problems. Before the war, Poland was being watched from around the world for many reasons. To some, it looked like the new rising star of Eastern Europe, to others it looked like a nation backsliding into authoritarian national-populism. The man guessed both statements were in a way, true. Indeed, truth in politics could mostly be found somewhere in the middle between two statements. Watching the screens was an old man in his late sixties. His hair was gray and thin, while his mustache on the other hand was thick and bushy. His watery eyes did not give sign as to any weakness, only steely determination and an uncompromising attitude forged in fire out of necessity. His name was Andrzej Duda and he had been the President of Poland since 2015. 25 long years, most of them due to the fact that elections had been suspended until only two years ago.

He had spent the evening reading through hundreds of pages of legislation. Reform packages were complex, time-consuming beasts to tame and soon the Sejm and Senate would pass a number of them for him to sign into action. But that was for later, he was getting tired and this would probably be his last term, second last at most if everything went as planned. It was time to move his successor into place to take over after him, as Lech Kaczynski had once raised him up and groomed him for the role that he had been in for so long. A mentor and friend of the Polish President, Lech Kaczynski, Co-Founder of the PiS-Party died in his Warsaw home in 2022 during the siege of the city. In those terrible months vicious street-fighting raged for months and after it was over and done with one-tenth of the city lay in complete ruins with nearly a quarter more was significantly damaged. The world was on fire, and the Pearl of the Vistula lay on a bed of ash and cinders. When he finally returned it had been so much worse, a half-empty, ruined ghost city greeted them as they finally returned from Saint Petersburg and so began the long march back to prosperity which had seemed to the Polish people to be only around the corner twenty years ago. Instead, what they got was another war. The collapse of NATO, the unacceptable conduct of the European Union. Andrzej sighed and clenched his fist. How many of his people can a leader sacrifice and remain a good man? He had asked his wife on the night before the joint airstrike on the marshaling yards in Linz, Bautzen and Cottbus.

As few as possible. Agata had answered gravely. That war, that decision he and his peers made had put nearly six million of his countrymen, his fellow Poles of all ages, men and women alike into an early grave. The old man rose and slowly walked over to the window, looking out at the city of Warsaw. She was so different now, in any disaster there is opportunity and unlike the last time, their country had not been thrown under the wheels. After the Second World War, Poland had been left to pick up the pieces alone and then bury 6.5 million corpses. This time they had not been left out, their sacrifices had not been in vain, the country was not left to rot behind the Iron Curtain. This was evident in what he saw as he gazed out. The skyscrapers, the bright lights and the new buildings, people rebuilding their lives and slowly, steadily moving forward. But there was no changing the fact that this conflict had put deep scars into the national psyche of the Polish people, just the Second World War, just like the Partitions. There is a term for it even, Siege Mentality. Polish culture had been affected by it to a great degree. But it also gave them a sense of belonging and community, it made the nation able to withstand great trials and tribulations throughout it's history and each time to rise like a phoenix from the ashes, to collectively grit it's teeth, clear the rubble and build anew.

Now they had built anew again, like their ancestors had in 1945, and in 1918 before that. A nation so bloodied deserved respite and peace, perhaps more so than any other nation on this Earth. Soon, new reform packages would soon be passed through Parliament, new steps on the road to renewed prosperity, to renewed influence. Poland had been bloodied yes, but if she plays her cards right, picks her alliances carefully, her potential conflicts equally so and strongly furthers it's national interest, well, then much could be done to make this country greater than it would have been before the Third War. Miedzymorze, the Intermarium, perhaps it could be a reality. A Third Europe with it's heart in Poland, in Warsaw, able to stand against both Western Europe and Russia, strong enough to chart it's own path to success. It had been Marshall Pilsudski's dream so long ago, it had been Lech Kaczynski's goal not too long ago. Perhaps it was Andrzej Duda who would go down in history as it's founder and former. As the man who led his nations through the fire, who led it to recover and shed the gray ashes of war, who led it to claim it's rightful place as a European power once more, so many centuries after the fall of the Kingdom of Poland-Lithuania. Perhaps...

The redhead's blue eyes widened before blinking. "Really? You're serious? Viral?"

"Yes, you're the man responsible for Rand Paul's presidential run. Or...Are you transgender?" Hastley asked.

"U-Uhm, no. I'm a guy," Pickett answered before offering, "You want some tea? I have to shave first."

The reporter looked side to side at her crew members before answering, "Go ahead." She then muttered to herself as Pickett ran off to make tea, "Jeez, he is America's most polite extremist." Hastley and her crew then walked inside, taking off their shoes. The house's small size was barely enough to fit the crew.

"So, is this an interview?" Pickett asked her, finishing the tea and bringing it to them.

"Yes," she answered before the small agitator placed a platter with little tea cups on the coffee table. "Thank you," Hastley said.

"You're welcome," Pickett smiled before going off to shave. Afterwards, he hopped on his chair, grabbing one of his plushies to snuggle.

Pickett: I was just minding my own business, exercising my first amendment rights, when some drunken guy thought I was a communist and heckled me. On cue, Antifags who claim to be communists attacked me.

Hastley: So, you did not start the violence?

Pickett: Nope! I just wanted to get more support for the TRUE successor to the Democratic Party of Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson!

Hastley: Huh? So, your party's name is the -reads the slip- National State's Rights Democratic Party. Are you from the South by any chance?

Pickett: Eh..Nope! I'm from Pennsylvania actually.

Pickett: Maybe, I am from one, but all of my family lives up North.

Hastley: So, why...-looks at the Confederate flag- do you use the Confederate flag and imagery?

Pickett: Well, I believe in the cause of state's rights and white nationalism. And, I see the Confederate flag as a symbol of the values of Jeffersonian and Jacksonian Democracy. I inverted the colors to make it more 'national' and less 'sectional'.

Hastley: Do you support secession?

Pickett: He- I mean heck no! I don't care about the South, I just want black people to GTFO to Africa.

Pickett: Yes. Actually, no. I really don't care for ideological labels, but I support a syndicalist and mutualist economy.

Pickett: Well, I believe that property ownership comes from active use. Why should the landlord hog land and charge rent? Why should the capitalist grab America by its loins just because he owns the factories? I believe that Jeffersonian values can only survive in an industrial society if the factories are owned by the workers. However, I do not want to abolish the market economy or even have a powerful centralized state regulate it. Instead I want a market economy of cooperatives and self-employed workers regulated by syndicates comprised of them and labor unions under the public oversight of a direct-democratic confederation. Pickett: Crime is not a drug problem, it's a race problem. I have the statistics to prove it! But, nope. Redshirts are to be sober and sharp! Well, besides a drink here or there, but narcotics are strictly banned in the Redshirts. In fact, I'm planning on addressing the real drug crisis that is destroying white America: opiods and the disgusting 'doctors' who peddle them. Prescription drug abuse is killing my people, and I can't let that stand. Whites are dying of despair. Was this what World War 3 was fought for? Just to have America die slowly? No, I will not let drugs conquer America, not through arresting users but instead liberating them from the thrall of nacrotics, through rehabilitation. We need to stop demonizing our people as monsters in the media and instead offer a positive future for white Americans.

Hastley: So, why...do you have such hatred for other races?

Pickett: Well, they hate me. My father fought in a white nationalist militia during the 2nd Civil War. I felt the discrimination hands on. Once the r-word is used on you, you are a persona non grata, trash to be disposed of.

Hastley: But, don't you see that you're just repeating the cycle?

Pickett: Maybe, it's inevitable. Maybe, that's what happens when you mix races. You get conflict. I just want what is best for America's majority group. Hopefully, we resolve the conflict peacefully, but the tipping point is coming near. America is poised to become minority-white at this rate, and I'd rather die than let my nation turn into Brazil. I want a nation Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson would be proud of.

Hastley: Do you think that your stance on race contradicts your leftism?

Pickett: Nope. I'm for majority rule, and I believe that true democracy could only be achieved among whites. There's a reason why democracy dawned in Athens and not in China or India. Everything else originates from those two viewpoints.

Hastley: So, what are your future plans?

Pickett: I'm planning on going into local politics. Americans need to pay more attention to what their local governments are doing. Thomas Jefferson believed that only a vigilant populace could be free, and I share this viewpoint.

Hastley: I see.

Pickett: I'm kind of glad you're actually being somewhat balanced in interviewing me. Usually, I'm reviled by everyone for my views. Like people think I'm for slavery or oppressing blacks. Honestly, I just want them out of the country. They can be free to ook around in Africa for all I care. Or, Brazil. Just dump them there. As long as it's out of America.

Hastley: Isn't it strange that you idolize the Democratic Party despite what it has become now?

Pickett: Pfft. They're not REAL Democrats. Honestly, part of the reason I hate negroes so much is that they took over the Democratic Party. It's like the GOP's stupid lackeys took over the Democrats and pretended they always ran the party. You know that they cancelled the Jefferson-Jackson dinners before the war? Ugh, I'm disgusted just thinking about it.

Hastley: Don't you see what you're doing as similar to that of Hitler?

Pickett: I do not want an autocracy, and I don't want to invade other countries. Hitler was an imperialist and autocrat who oppressed his people in a vain attempt to exterminate white Slavs. Sure, it is funny that the similarities are there, but the difference is that I'm fighting against the marginalization of my people. I'm being defensive, Hitler was offensive. Oh and I don't care about racial purity. Whiteness is flexible for me.

Hastley: Flexible how?

Pickett: I can see Hispanics and Native Americans being assimilated. Hell, even the other kind of Indian. Asians are a maybe.

Hastley: So, you only racially dislike blacks?

Pickett: Oh, I dislike immigration for labor-related and security reasons. That's all.

Hastley: I see.

Pickett: Also, Hitler sold out to business and Junker interests. Like I actually despise the guy. It's why I like making fun of him. Trust me, I think Hitler would be disgusted at me.

He was unsettled, as polling before the Duma and Federal Council elections showed that the Ultranationalists where gaining seats rapidly. They had even passed the Eurasian Front in the Duma. This was becoming a problem, and it needed to be fixed, quickly, before he was replaced by one of them. However, they still held firm in the Council. He could, maybe, spike the elections into his favor, but the Georgians, Ukrainians, and some of the Kazakhs would love an opportunity for scandal, as they had been searching for one for a bit. No, that clearly wasn't an option now, he needed to keep his approval up if he wished to stay as President. His main opponent now, the Ultranationalist Chairman, Dyuzhenkov Valentinovich, was polling hard, along with his subordinates who had run for Duma and Council Positions.

He looked outside his window, seeing the Kremlin Guard standing at attention along the wall's entrances and at the main doors to the Duma chamber. He remembered the fireworks of the new year, and how exciting it was on that day. He smiled, as it was one of his favorite sights while he was in office.

He looked over at his phone, an apple(insert number over 30 here), and looked through his apps. He had many non eastern apps, and many western media sources. He looked at the story on the "Southern Socialist" Anishin scoffed, looking at this bumbling idiot. "Ankudinov, come look at this!" One of his aides, a one he was rather friendly with, came over. Hiring them out quickly, they gave identities of Mongolian activists and nationalists who could rouse the populations and kidnap family members of journalists to ensure their silence. Of course, this was only the small scale stuff and barely anything, but in the end they needed to make a reputation. So they left a small trademark on the official Mongolian Government website.

85 year old Prime Minister stepped up to the platform. He had managed to hold an Iron fist over the country, after the new constitution allowed the ruling party's president to remain Prime Minister as long as the party held majority. As the years went by he only got older, but his control solidified as propaganda grew. Yet today was a great day for his Japan. Today would mark the start of a Japan not afraid of its neighbors. Today would be a controversial one, but in Japan, it would be seen as a victory. He stepped up to the mike.

"Today is a great day for Japan! We are no longer afraid of our enemies and are able to prosper as we once did long ago. Our fellow citizens, a group I am proud to be apart of, the Nihon Kaigun, had battled to keep our control of the Senkaku Islands when our government was under a weak constitution. Now, Article Nine is no more. Today, I am here to announce the first oil rig will be opened near the Senkakus, in order to harvest the large oil reserves present. I have also deployed a garrison of 40 Japan Coast Guard officers to the island to protect it from despicable attempts from nationalists of our enemies to seize it. This is a day of strength for Japan! This will be the first time since 1945 our police forces and military will base on the islands, and the first time, we utilize the oil we have under our territory, as we work towards oil dependence! I have also ordered for an escort of two Coast Guard Patrol Vessels to ensure the security of the rig for the first few weeks, as we seek to expand the operations surrounding.

While the Prime Minister did not want to create conflict with "allies" he also knew the ultra-nationalists and Nihon Kaigun backing would only last as long as he did what he could for Japan.

When the Prime Minister was handed a message from the Republic of China, an old ally, he looked in distaste. He was happy to have economic cooperation with Taiwan and ASEAN, but South Korea and the People's Republic of China? He did not like South Korea, who occupied the Takeshima and still acted hostile, trying to point out outrageous claims about Imperial Japanese misconduct from over 100 years ago. He did not believe them, and this was the official stance of Japan. But at the same time, Japan had to make sure to be diplomatic. So a message was written out.

War seemed to be able to drive those people to do the impossible. The Eurasian Federation was a superpower on Poland's doorstep and improved relations with them was a necessity. The remaining four years of the mandate, indeed, the coming decade are of paramount importance to our country and I am overjoyed that the people have chosen the Law and Justice party to properly handle the challenges that we need to overcome as a nation to truly blossom. After the guns fell silent we managed to secure our share. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Law and Justice Party, Poland was not thrown down to the wolf-pit after the war, left to make it out as best it could. Through negotiation we managed to secure recompense for our suffering, land for our country and funds to rebuild from the devastation and while nothing will being back our loved ones who fell in this terrible conflict I'm sure they would be proud of what has been accomplished." He took a sip of water and continued to speak.

"Our economy has grown thanks to the wise investment of reparation funds, continued social reforms, economic reforms and infrastructural investments. This government's priority lays in further economic development, that is the basis for any other endeavor be it social, scientific, educational, infrastructural or any other. The Law and Justice Party shall use the reparation funds to raise the standard of living and lay a powerful foundation for future economic growth for the period after 2050 when this flow of funds runs out. My administration shall do all it can to make such a future of prosperity and peace a reality for us. "The budget set forth for this mandate will go down in history as the budget of the family and significant funding will be allocated to family support, with another 450 million Zlotys being allocated to the healthcare system specifically earmarked to improve the quality and availability of maternity care throughout the country. For far too long, parties on the political right have seen a discussion on family support as a non-starter, with family policy often looked down upon as a policy of government hand-outs or as an attempt to ruin the traditional male breadwinner family model. We in the PiS do not subscribe to this thinking, instead we shall undertake extensive and comprehensive measures in order to help and support Polish families who form the bedrock this society as well as all human societies across the globe. It is our hope that soon, new generations will move into rebuilt homes, once more filling this country with life, laughter and light shining from windows of buildings that only a few years ago were blackened ruins. Policymakers at Work

Mining, especially coal mining but also copper and silver present one of the sectors with the largest productivity-gaps when compared to Western European nations at a staggering 72% before the Third World War. Coal mining has been one of Poland's major export industries since the Interwar Era and measures should be taken to improve it's profitability and future viability. With the reforms introduced as part of this policy package it is the hope of the government that Polish coal mining, alongside Polish mining in general is given a good chance to grow into a stable, profitable and innovative sector of the national economy. Poland ranks highly in Europe in terms of viable arable land. Approximately 300 million people live within 1000 kilometers from the Polish border, providing Polish farmers and food processing companies a large and dynamic market to take advantage of. In order to tap into the revenue from this potential market, Polish farms must increase their output and profit margin. High levels of urbanization in Western Europe and the irradiation of farmland after the French Nuclear Strikes has made Poland with it's large agricultural land areas a prime candidate as a food supplier in Europe. The agricultural sector has great potential but is marred by structural inefficiency from even before the war in addition to devastation suffered during the conflict. It contributes to only about 2% of national GDP but employs 10.5% of the total workforce. To make Poland a sound base for a profitable and dynamic food industry hub the sector needs transformation in the following fields to increase productivity and growth. Increased dynamism in agriculture would bring more wealth into the hands of Poland's rural population, numbering at 40% of the population and encourage spending to improve the state of the domestic market. The is a change the government hopes to support with the following reform package.

- Increasing through consolidation the size of the average family-owned farm which in Poland is at around 10 hectares while those in Western Europe are around 50 hectares.
- Improving yields on Polish farms by encouraging land leases, contract farming and financial incentives to form producer's co-operatives.
- Re-orienting the sector from it's current focus on low-value raw produce toward higher value processed foodstuffs.
- Seek opportunities to consolidate food processing industries to gain much needed scale, including the adoption of a cooperative business model for fragmented producers.
- Increase food product complexity and move up the value chain, for instance by increasing focus on organic produce and products for specialized diets popular.
- Form the Agricultural Disaster Relief Fund where farmers can apply for monetary recompense in case of drought, severe rainfall, or other sudden and unforeseen weather phenomena destroying crops.
- Form the Agricultural Modernization Fund to which 2 billion Zlotys (533 million dollars) shall be allocated. Farmers may apply for fixed low-interest loans in order to invest in improved agricultural equipment, especially precision farming technologies such as UAV Systems for real-time soil monitoring.
- Build the strength of Polish brands, preferably with help from international retailers with special focus on categories such as poultry, pork and dairy where Poland already has a strong position in the international foodstuffs market.
- Encourage further investment in intellectual property as well as R&D in such areas as refrigeration and nanotechnology in conservation, filtering, and packaging innovations in order to promote technological development and encourage closer cooperation between academia and the agricultural sector.

- Develop and fund a broad international campaign to promote Poland as an European champion of outsourced and offshored business services through the Polish Trade and Investment Agency.
- Help Poland's largest cities become magnets for O&O investors by establishing world-class investors´front desks and support services by increasing the funding of the Polish Trade and Investment Agency by 20 million Zlotys.
- Build strong industry associations to develop a growth vision for the industry and aligned educational programs.

The Polish population has since the fall of the communist regime gone through a period of stagnation and aging and contraction due a drop in fertility rates, increase in death rates and large-scale emigration. In addition to this, nearly six million Poles died during the Third World War. And while population growth has seen an increase due to rising fertility and the return of Western Army soldiers, often alongside relatives thanks to the generous Veteran's Support Act. It is necessary to invest heavily in family support in order to provide a long term-model for stable internal natural growth to secure Poland's economic growth prospects while causing as little disruption as possible to the nation's social fabric and strain on social services. - Families with 3 or more children will be eligible for a tax reduction system to further raise their purchasing power.
- Provide 350 000 public creche and daycare places by 2045. The operation of which will fall under a new branch of the Ministry of Education.
- Provide 65 000 childcare places for the children of parents working non-standard hours. The operation of which will fall under the same branch of the Ministry of Education as mentioned above.
- Institute 20 weeks of Maternity Leave on 80% of pay for the first child.
- Institute 10 weeks of Paternity Leave on 70% of pay for the first child.
- Companies that employ more than 250 people and provide free on-site child daycare to employees can subtract the cost of the childcare service multiplied three times from their yearly corporate tax. Hopefully this will service to boost private sector income as well as allow parents to return to work sooner.
- Institute Family Housing Support Program in order to aid families in acquiring newly built or repairing old homes. A family with one child may apply for a 35 000 Zloty grant. A family with two children may apply for a 85 000 Zloty grant. A family with three or more children may apply for a 125 000 Zloty grant.
- A marriage allowance shall be universally instituted and payed out to newlywed couples. It shall be at the amount of 500 Zlotys per spouse for the first 24 months of the marriage. To be eligible both persons must have a clean criminal record and at least one of the spouses must be below 35 years of age.
- A monthly childcare allowance equivalent to 70% of the applicants salary shall be made available and will be provided until the child's second birthday, this allowance will however not rise to a sum above 150% of the minimum wage.
- Work with the Polish Catholic Church to promote nuclear family values. With more than nearly 92% of the population identifying as Catholic and over 61% identifying as observant worshipers the Polish Catholic Church can provide a strong voice in the promotion of family values.
- Encourage the positive portrayal of the nuclear family in art, education and media.
- Found the Reproductive Health Research Institute, tasked with studying fertility and reproductive health.

As a further promotion of the high-end service sector, a new top-modern business center integrating smart-city technologies shall be constructed in Warsaw in the Saska Kepa district which suffered extensive destruction during the Siege of Warsaw in 2022, and sadly largely remains in a state of disrepair. Nigerian health officials have announced today that the Wuhan Coronavirus that hit China 20 years ago has resurfaced in Lagos. According to the CDC, around 1,600 cases have been confirmed within Lagos and surrounding areas. Around 25 deaths have been reported. An investigation by the CDC and CIA has revealed that the virus likely originated from Taiwanese pork exports. Lagos is expected to be in lockdown within the next 24 hours. Hospitals in Lagos are full as patients continue to come in. The red cross is setting up medical centers around Lagos. All airports and seaports have been shut down. The World Health Organization has stated that it is highly unlikely that the virus will spread beyond Nigeria.

Danilo and I" she points to the Secretary of Transportation, "Have been discussing our options and we think it's time we halt all shipping and flights to and from Nigeria until the situation has stabilized. All we need is your approval of the idea."

Emilio stands there thinking while pacing for 10 minutes before turning to his cabinet, "Do it Sophia and Danilo, ground all flights to and from Nigeria. Quarantine all passengers and crew of flights from Nigeria and test them for the Coronavirus. Do the same with the crews of all Nigerian shipping. I will not allow this deadly disease in Brazil no matter the cost. Sophia also put out a press release stating what we are doing."

Sophia grimaced, "Yes sir, I will get right on it." Sophia leaves the president's office.

Razor himself stood at the end of the conference table, all of his bodily features obscured by his helmet and armor. The amount of security to protect the identity of Razor was astonishing, as not even his closest associates were allowed to see his face. Right now, he was addressing the current issues in Bavaria of which he had just received word via one of the only forms of outside contact permitted in the facility, radio. "As you know, esteemed commanders, a Marxist-aligned militant faction has arisen in Bavaria just today, and also as you all know, we cannot allow this!" Razor slammed his fist on the table. "This is potentially harmful to all the work we have done in that region, and we cannot allow this progress to be lost! Formal military forces are already engaging the Marxist rebels, but I thought we would add a bit of, shall we say, our touch to it. If the communists have gained any sort of territory, our goal is to seize control of it, and after we... vet the population of such areas, we will then hand the land back to the Bavarian government. Your first priorities are to neutralize the militant units, and then you are to establish a perimeter around any area they once controlled. Searching the civilian population will be needed to prevent another rise like this, and if any Bavarian or German forces engage your positions, shoot to kill. The fighters were donning the customary blood red and black armor and helmets of Razor's Insurrection. The hangar was a rather small one, and contained the few military craft the Insurrection possessed. The entire facility itself wasn't that huge, and the Eurasian Federation seemed to have just forgotten about the old WWIII era facility. The VTOL craft rolled outside onto the runway, the end of which was obscured by heavy snowfall. The planes lifted into the air, bound for Bavaria. It wasn't a massive operation, only about a hundred insurgents were being deployed, after all, the militant Marxists were only civilians fighting with what they could afford. The planes would be landing and then leaving after they were unloaded, and they would be landing just outside the city limits of Munich.

Mike took some time to process, "Yeah, I think so too, but really, what pizza delivery is going to end up all the way here, in the middle of fucking Siberia? I really hope we get off of guard duty sometime soon, so I can maybe travel to our outpost in Africa, because they get shipments of good food all the time, and you can actually look at something enjoyable if you do end up with sentry duty, not some sheet of white literally 24/7." Dexter began to state his agreement, but noticed something on the thermal optics attached to his helmet. "Hey, Mike, somebody's comin'! They don't look like they're armed, might be some kind of science expedition? Nonetheless, we should shoot these guys and tell boss about it." Mike quickly rebounded from the wall he was leaning against. "Alright! We'll both shoot them from here with the sniper rifles, and then afterwards you can run back in and tell boss. There looks to be about 8 people in heavy winter gear." They both lifted their Accuracy International AWMs, and took shots at the men. 3 of them fell quickly, and the others realized what was going on, and tried to flee. The thermal scopes made this futile, and they quickly dropped dead after being shot. Dexter ran to the door controls, and the large, hangar-sized door slid open. He ran to the second door, after that, and then dashed toward's Razor's office.

Yesterday at around 3:20 PM Eatsern Standard Time, NASA discovered an asteroid with a diameter of .67 Kilometers or .41 Miles. Today, they have announced that the asteroid, now known as 2040-67J is on a collision course with earth. It is expected to impact the earth at around 7:20 AM EST on May 7th, 2040. The trajectory is still uncertain, but is expected to be somewhere along a line from Equatorial Guinea to the Galapagos islands. There have been reports of rioting and looting across West Africa, Latin America, The Caribbean, The US, and in cities across the globe as news of the asteroid is spreading. An emergency UN summit in Geneva has been called for. Major world leaders are yet to make statements. According to NASA, casualty numbers could be at over 11 million, with damage at over 1.1 Trillion US dollars.

We have discovered a shocking truth about the asteroid that will hit the Earth this May. It is not the only one.
