Task Force Atlas Personnel File
Name: Captain Jacqueline Kowalski
Alias: Jackie, Captain, Cap
Unit: 3rd Special Operations Squad, 1st Battalion, Remnant Sentinels
Role: Squad Commander
Age: 35
Height: 167cm
Weight: 54kg
Birthplace: Olympia, United Remnant Avtarkiya, Greater Remnant Cooperation Sphere
Biographical Information: Born and raised in a military family, Jackie had few choices in her life. She could choose to enter into the blue-collar manufacturing sector, or become a waitress, or follow in the footsteps of her brothers, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and join the Remnant Military. Jackie earned high marks across several subjects through school and even joined the Wolf Scouts, becoming a troop leader, which gave her easy access into officer candidate school upon her graduation and entrance into the Remnant Army. At that point, Jackie immediately applied to become a Sentinel in a bid to not only meet her family's standards but ultimately surpass them.
Psychological Profile: Jackie is a driven individual. She's no-nonsense and expects only the best of the team under her command. This high standard likely stems from her upbringing in a military-focused family, as well as the knowledge that her team's actions reflect directly on her as a commander and a soldier. This mindset, along with her willingness to applaud exceptional actions, has granted her the respect of her team, as well as others around her.
Training: Wolf Scouts, Remnant Army Training, Remnant Army Officer Training, Remnant Sentinel Training, Advanced Small Unit Tactics
Notable Experience: Remnant-Zhanguanese War, Task Force Atlas
Typical Loadout: R18 Assault Rifle, M23-45 Pistol, 3 Mark 5 Multipurpose Grenades, 2 R1P Sensor Grenades, Encrypted Satellite Phone, Flare Gun, Steiner 7x50 Binoculars
Theme Song: Cold Hard Bitch - Jet
Notes: Captain Kowalski takes failures personally. The loss of the majority of the 4th Special Operations Squad years ago in particular seems to deepen Kowalski's resolve to push herself and her team beyond their limits.

Task Force Atlas Personnel File
Name: 1st Lieutenant Nikolai Kovanich
Alias: Koopa
Unit: 3rd Special Operations Squad, 1st Battalion, Remnant Sentinels
Role: Second in command, technical expert
Age: 44
Height: 180 cm
Weight: 85 kg
Birthplace: Twin Falls, United Remnant Avtarkiya, Greater Remnant Cooperation Sphere
Biographical Information: Kovanich was raised in the inner-city slums of Twin Falls, born to low-paying Roskian factory workers, Kovanich only escaped his destiny of joining the working poor by his exceptional grades and affinity for STEM courses, which earned him academic scholarships that gave him the choice of any college in the URA. But Kovanich took another offer that was given to him instead: The chance to join the Remnant Army's budding drone weapons program. In the Army, Kovanich's skills with writing code, as well as building designing prototypes for all manner of autonomous equipment quickly drew attention from the military's special forces, who only convinced the young soldier to join by offering him what he wanted, which was action. Kovanich was an adrenaline junkie, and the skills he used to leverage his way into the military only allowed him to ultimately get into combat zones, which he saw as the purest form of rush, it only helped that the Sentinel's skills, talent, and personality allowed him to stay there and earn an officer's commission into a second-in-command position for Captain Jack Rogers. When 4th SOS was merged with 3rd SOS, rather than being promoted to lead the squad, Captain Kowalksi of 4th SOS was moved over him. That was fine for Koopa; it allowed him to continue his job of getting into combat and building new toys while keeping him free of any definite leadership role.
Psychological Profile: Kovanich's personality meshed well with his previous squad leader. Kovanich himself is relaxed and prone to sarcastic retorts, much like Lieutenant Colonel Rogers. Under Captain Kowalski, however, this gallows humor and borderline insubordinate behavior causes friction in leadership. Whether or not this friction ever explodes is only up to the two operators themselves and their professionalism. This sense of humor only seems to have escalated since Kovanich's extensive injuries several years ago during Operation Blind Knife, which ironically saw the man who build machines himself become bonded with machines. Kovanich is fascinated with technology, and transhumanism, and while such injuries would normally have placed considerable mental strain on an individual, Kovanich seems to only have become more excited about the prospects of pushing his prosthetics to the limit. This is an ongoing study, due to the fact that while Kovanich is currently fit for combat, his own fascination with his current physical status may easily give way to depression, especially if his prosthesis does not live up to his own fantasies about becoming a cyborg supersoldier.
Training: Remnant Army Training, Remnant Army Officer Training, Remnant Sentinel Training, Advanced Small Unit Tactics, Close-Combat Training
Notable Experience: Deemosian Civil War, Caxan Civil War, Remnant-Korean War, Task Force Atlas Veteran
Typical Loadout: R21 Assault Rifle, M23-45 Pistol, 2 Mark 5 Multipurpose Grenades, 2 R1E EMP Grenades, CEW1 Taser, Geiger Counter, Wide-Ban Frequency Jammer, Decoder Pad, N3 Sparrow Reconnaissance Drone
Theme Song: Powerman 5000 - Bombshell
Notes: Due to Koopa's extensive prosthesis, it is possible that he may become a liability during extended combat scenarios. While this has yet to be seen, it's an unspoken fear of both his team commander Captain Kowalski, as well as his friend and TFA commander Lt. Col. Rogers.

Task Force Atlas Personnel File
Name: Master Chief Petty Officer Harry Wilde
Alias: Tarzan
Unit: 3rd Special Operations Squad, 1st Battalion, Remnant Sentinels
Role: Heavy Weapons, Demolitions
Age: 40
Height: 193cm
Weight: 100kg
Birthplace: Rain, United Remnant Avtarkiya, Greater Remnant Cooperation Sphere
Biographical Information: Wilde grew up in the rural outskirts of Rain, itself an already rural city compared to the other megacities of the URA. Wilde was a hunter, a hiker, a country boy through and through, which is a rarity compared to the massive majority of his urbanized country. The epitome of "corn-fed rurals," Wilde felt it his duty as a loyal Remnant to do well in school and join the Remnant Navy as a weapons specialist. There, Wilde discovered an affinity for explosive compositions, as well as the handling of all manner of mounted and heavy weaponry in the Remnant arsenal. His large size as well as his consistent disregard for professional appearance regulations and rural upbringing, gave him an instant nickname as Tarzan, the storybook character of a man raised by animals. Despite his record of behavior, his skillset more than offset the black marks and allowed him an invitation to the Sentinels, but his entrance into the special operations squads.
Psychological Profile: Everything about Mr. Wilde is loud: His equipment, his personality, and his demeanor. The man is physically imposing with his large size, but his personality could also be considered "larger than life." If it weren't for his infectious optimism, he would be the stereotype of the Remnant woodsman: He drinks, he fights, and he lives simply, but underneath his simple values and his quiet faith, Wilde is a loyal soldier, and a good friend.
Training: Remnant Navy Training, Explosive Ordnance Usage and Disposal Training, Remnant Sentinel Training
Notable Experience: Deemosian Civil War, Caxan Civil War, Remnant-Korean War, Task Force Atlas Veteran
Typical Loadout: R46A1 Light Machine Gun, M23-45 Pistol, 3 Mark 5 Multipurpose Grenades, 2 Breaching Charges, 1 R90 Landmine, 1kg of PCL, Portable Plasma Tool
Theme Song: Courtesy Of The Red, White, And Blue - Toby Keith
Notes: Has a close relationship with fellow operator marksman Jung Park.
by The United Remnants of America » Fri Feb 14, 2020 8:53 pm
Task Force Atlas Personnel File
Name: Chief Petty Officer Jung Park
Alias: Ninja
Unit: 3rd Special Operations Squad, 1st Battalion, Remnant Sentinels
Role: Designated Marksman, Forward Scout
Age: 38
Height: 175cm
Weight: 65kg
Birthplace: Nongsi, Nongea, Greater Remnant Cooperation Sphere
Biographical Information: Growing up after the Nongean War, which reunited north and south into one nation, and living through the Nongean integration into the GRCS, allowed Park to see amazing new opportunities for his nation and his people. Being a Sinican, Park was part of the GRCS' majority minority, and while his father was in the Nongean Army, Park saw his own opportunities into seeking out joining the Remnant Military. While being a minority in the Remnant Army was by no means a comfortable situation, Park only saw it as further opportunity to shine. He studied, he excelled, and he exceeded. Not only did the young Nongean earn himself a place as a valued marksman, but before long, he earned himself a place among the Sentinels for his sharp eyesight, calm under pressure, and deadly aim.
Psychological Profile: Park is the epitome of an introvert. The man seems to abhor social situations, and he avoids close relationships as if they were detrimental to his health. His only close bond seems to be with the unlikeliest of people, the extroverted Harry Wilde. Park's sense of humor is also relatively lacking, compared to his fellow teammates, however his determination towards objective-based tasks is almost unrivaled. The operator seems to obsess over his position as a marksman. He will disassemble and clean his personal firearms several times a day, if able, and will almost daily attend practice shooting at the range. On paper, Park is the perfect soldier, but as a person, Park may need assistance in his social life, especially after his career in the military.
Training: Remnant Army Training, Forward Reconnaissance, Designated Marksman Skills, Sentinel Training, Advanced Sniper Training.
Notable Experience: Deemosian Civil War, Caxan Civil War, Remnant-Korean War, Task Force Atlas Veteran
Typical Loadout: R23 Sniper Rifle, M23-45 Pistol, 2 Mark 5 Multipurpose Grenades, 3 R1P Sensor Grenades, 1 Breaching Charge, Flare Gun, Steiner 7x50 Binoculars, Infrared Contacts
Theme Song: Yuve Yuve Yu - The Hu
Notes: Park's only notable close relationship, aside from his parents, seems to be fellow operator Harry Wilde

I've apparently left cookies for myself to find in my apps and lore dumps that puts the timeline of TFA that puts Operation Blind Knife as roughly 6 years before the reunion Prologue.
So, canonically, TFA's been a thing for a while.
Huh.
Okay, I'm gonna make some operator profiles to blow off some steam.

I 'done did' a thing. So now I plan to go over what spots people mentioned they'd take in the operation. I'll start a list of who is where. I hope this post builds a decent enough situational picture. Let me know any other info you want to know or have clarified. No rush, take your time. Read it. Find your angle. And feel free to jump in.
The water's fine. I see the next posts in the helicopter, on the ridge or the hill preparing. I see Vangazi on both the tall hill and the helo, split up. This will help me write the story from both a boots on the ground and overwatch angle. I gave a few details, such as how far the hill is away and even how much money is tucked in the coffers. There may be curveballs. If anyone wants me to add anything in particular, let me know.
People can also TG me if they want to help add surprises. Another idea is that of a joint post. Maybe some of us can send a post back and forth together, adding to it behind the scenes, before one writer finally posts it.
Concerns and questions? Caveats?
