The United States of America JB invades and takes Michigan
The President of America JB, John Tyler, ordered for the immediate invasion and take over of the territory of Michigan. In his direct orders he mentioned that this was to protect the great lakes and have it as a valuable natural resource. The America JBian economy will also benefit from the tourist industry that comes with it. This is the first step in a new America JB in the world. At the Springfield summit of military Generals, they planned out and have executed the President's commands.

It was a sunny day in Michigan, towns running smoothly but then there was a rumbling. Men and tanks rolled into towns and put up the America JBian flag. The America JBian army entered the territorial town hall and ordered them to cease and assist in the ratification of Michigan as a new America JBian State. They all swore allegiance to America JB and signed a document to officially become a State.

There was backlash to this expansion in the JBian General Assembly. A representative from Indiana said they will not sit back and watch as their neighbors to the North get conquered with no choice in the matter. The President in the chamber responded to the concern of that particular representative by stating that this was for the betterment of the nation. This is all legal and had to be done he went on to explain.

A resolution to condemn the Presidents actions failed to pass the Assembly and everything went according to plan. 2 weeks from the initial take over, Michigan was ratified by the General Assembly as the 4th State of the United State of America JB. Parades went wild in Chicago and Springfield to rejoice in the expansion of America JB. In the region and in the world, this is the first step.

Czar Mihael paces up and down his palace floors, passing the fine wooden oak drawers, and eventually stops at the drawing room. The Tzar sees his young daughter, Maria, but a six year old, playing with a doll he recently gifted her.

It brought a smile to the Czars face, but then his short, portly secretary, Akiston, smartly dressed handed him the papers he had been waiting for.

The Czar leaped for joy, his forces won the battle of Galati. However, a damp fuzz cane over the Czars heart once again. He knew there was a long path of war against him.

The Czar are his lunch, and went to meet with his foreign secretary.

"Your Majesty, we should establish a trade deal with the United States of JB."

"I suppose, draft something up, send this to the finance minister."

"Yes your majesty."

After dawdling for an hour, the Czars finance ministrr came in, with a trade deal.

After looking through the trade deal, the Czar happily exclaimed,
"Send it right away!"

Trade Deal:
1. Tariffs will be lifted on most orifices for both countries
2. In exchange for Thasos, the Czardom of Bulgaria will recieve a port on the Michigan River

The President of America JB ordered for the invasion of the territory of Michigan on March 28th. He was met with backlash from some of the Generals in his Joint Chiefs. One General commented saying, "This decision will surely lead to America JB gaining a bad reputation and putting the national security of our nation at risk." This comment and the controversy that followed it has caused much head aches for the President. So, the invasion was halted and the President instead opened negotiations with the Michigan Administrative Center to negotiate a possibility of that territory joining the America JBian Union.
The America JBian government has sent over a negotiation team to Grand Rapids, Michigan. They have been deliberating for a period of about 5 weeks. With this long wait, the America JBian President is growing anxious for a deal to be struck. While the President was walking to grab breakfast with his family, a reporter stopped him and said, "Mr. President, a report came out that the America JBian delegation in Grand Rapids is failing to meet any threshold of getting an effective deal through." The President stopped the reporter abruptly and said, "I don't know who your sources are, but you need a new one. Our team is working hard and I assure you that we will get a deal done, soon....".
With that encounter and a delicious breakfast with his family crossed off his list, the President entered his Executive office. He immediately picked up the phone to contact his Secretary of State to enquire on the progress of the talks. The Secretary of State responded that a deal is close to being accomplished, he went on by saying that our team just isn't sure if it's the right call to make Michigan a full fledged State. The President stopped him and yelled, "YES!" going on to say of course that is acceptable. With that, the team closed out a successful deal, that details Michigan becoming a full fledged State with all the rights that are involved and America JB get's that land. On June, the Michigan Administrative Body passed the resolution wishing to join America JB as a State. Within 2 weeks that resolution was sent to the General Assembly, debated and now is ready for a vote. In the House of Representatives, most of the lawmakers from Indiana are furious over this proposal and vow to block such a "devastation" for the nation and our region. With hours and hours of that debate it was time for a vote, the resolution nearly passed the house by 19 votes.
Next is the Senate, where it should as well be a close call. Surprisingly though, the Indiana Senators are more welcoming of this idea and this resolution passes the Senate 58-42. This was a major victory for the nation. Just as the America JBian President got the word of it's ratification, he ordered and held an emergency press conference to inform the nation of our new State, Michigan. All being well, the America JBian President ordered the now Michigan Governor over to the Executive Mansion for a press op and to get to know each other. This is one small addition to America JB but one major step in Regional Dominance and hopefully global dominance if all the domino fall as they should. Nothing is perfect, this deal was not, especially and accordingly to most Indianans, but time will tell, as it always does.
An investigation was initiated by an independent agency, putting Springfield on their toes. After 2 months of work, the President was called by the Attorney General and told that there was some bribery in the deal. The Governor of Michigan is to be charged and arrested for paying a news agency to run nothing but positive articles about him, to help him get elected. The America JBian President refused to comment on this matter to reporters but what he did have to say was, "This is something that should not be acceptable anywhere in this great nation. We should stand behind our law enforcement community and bring the culprit to Justice. No matter what officer or title he holds." This received some good responses from the people of Michigan and after a month of contention, they received a new Governor. At last, all is well.
Did I just say all is well? LMAO it's never all well. The America JBian President survived an assassination attempt. While walking outside of his Executive Mansion, a suspect in a black coat walked up to him and shot him in the chest. The President was rushed to the Hospital where he now is in stable condition. In the mean time, the Vice President is the Acting President of America JB. After a few months of investigations to get to the bottom of this horrendous attack, the FBI found out that the wannabe assassin was a Michigan national who was very anti America JB. This has surely rocked the nation. The Michigan State Speaker openly condemned this action as atrocious and Un America JBian.
To end this crazy chapter in America JBian history, the President recovered and returned to his office. Since his attempted assassination, a secret service is now fully employed to prevent this from happening again. The assassin was sentenced to death for treason in a Federal court, ironically held in Michigan. Mr. Robert G. Downred will be remembered as the man who betrayed his nation the judge read. The cops took him out of the court room and that was the last the public has ever seen of him. It is said, through rumor, that he was put in an electric chair, but it failed and they kept doing it over and over and he was tortured. That is now under investigation, make sure to catch the next chapter! It should be shocking.....

After the failed attempt to respectably work the electric chair, Robert G. Downred died in horror. If you remember he was the wannabe assassin who shot President John Tyler. Anyways, an investigation by the Department of Justice to find out exactly what happened and how to prevent that from happening in the future. After months long searching the Department has released a report today, saying all the procedures were done correctly and it was just a mechanical malfunction. No one will be charged with a crime. In response to this news, the Speaker of the Michigan State legislature condemned this report and called it "preposterous" and "unbecoming of our nation to go through all this will little to no results or Justice." In response to this at a press meeting, the President stated that he hears their concerns and will further investigate how to improve the system.
Post investigation by the Department of Justice, there has been riots in the streets of Michigan with protestors angry over the failed investigation. The Michigan Governor has called for the President to meet with him to discuss future plans. That meeting is set to take place in the coming day. With that meeting in mind, President Tyler set out to do some exercise in the swimming pool. In which, he was immediately called into his office to deal with a panic from the Association of Governors over the invasion of the Republic of Ohio. The People of Ohio have been invaded by a Mafia gang that stormed their Capital and executed their top officials.
In response to this, the President of America JB is set to address the General Assembly and inform them formally of this crisis. As the President heads to the General Assembly he scrambles notes down as his motorcade arrives. The President get's out of the car and hurries to the podium. His address was a call to action and asking for permission to assist the Ohioian people in their fight for freedom. In an overwhelming vote, the General Assembly agreed to let the President join in and fight on behalf of the rightful Ohio government.
From the west, the Indiana State Militia made their move, 35 Sandbox 34-B1 Armored Vehicles, 5 Tanks and 2,000 soldiers made their way to the Ohio capital of Dayton. There they bombed strategic buildings where the Mafia stored weapons. From there the Armored Vehicles deployed 500 troops to break down the capital doors and reclaim it for the Republic of Ohio. The Mafia army surrendered after 5 hours of nonstop firing. Blood stained the capital but Freedom is restored. The Ohio President called the America JBian President from a bunker and thanked him for his help. He went on to ask for his nation of Ohio to become an official State of the United States of America JB. President Tyler said he will do what he can.
The next day, President John Tyler convened a special session of the General Assembly and proposed the motion to accept Ohio as a new State. The Assembly debated for two days and a vote is scheduled to happen. With a nail-biting rollcall vote, the proposal passed the House with 77% approval and passed the Senate with 81% approval. The territory of Ohio is now the State of Ohio. As it rightfully should be. With that, the new Ohio state legislature has been elected but a scandal becomes a cloud over their legitimacy. There is a report that a party cheated in the election to gain the majority and the Speakership. The Department of Justice in America JB has announced a review of the process and the nation begins to roll their eyes, especially the people in the State of Michigan.

Life is simple in the Rhineland, go to work, come home, sleep, rinse and repeat. It was especially simple today, it was beautiful in the sky and air, there was barely any clouds, and if a cloud did cover the sun everyone would yell at it. The clouds, however, took their time. George was waking up from a good nights sleep when he heard the first yells from the people to open up the skies again. Perfect timing, the bell just began to rang out, also awakening George's children and wife. George got prepared for work in the mines, putting on his dusty overalls, he knew he had to clean it soon. But why? It was just going to get dirty again, that's what life was like for his clothes. His beautiful wife Marie made his lunch for today and stuffed it into his lunch pail. As soon as George took his lunch by the handle more yells rang out from the town's peoples. George and Marie looked at each other and smiled, Marie and George both leaned in for a kiss. *Smooch*

Marie: "I have a feeling it's going to be a weird and dramatic day today."

George: "Honey... you worry too much."

George smiled at Marie, as soon as he did his youngest son, John, who was 3, came running out of his room in his underwear. Excited for the day, John jumped into his clothes laid out on the kitchen floor, it was messy, but it was home. George opened the door and left for work, just as soon as his Daughter, Mary, who was 4, also came out of the same room, getting ready for kindergarten. James, who was 7, and the oldest of all the siblings, was still asleep in his own room. George had to walk to work today, gas shortages led to increased prices of gas for his car, making it unusable. It took a while but George got to work, the foreman didn't care how late you were as long as you filled your months quota. George went down the main mine shaft, all the way down and straight ahead, all the way to his position for his job.

George: "Morning Adelbert, today is going to be a lousy day I say."

Adelbert: "I'm not sure about that one George, I have a feeling today is going to be quite the day!"

George: "Funny, my wife said the same thing."

Adelbert: "She's smart, no wonder you married her."

Adelbert most likely meant for that to be a compliment but George's mind twisted it around enough to make it an insult. George didn't speak out though, out of fear of him losing his job and losing a friend. Eventually, George got into a rhythm and hours turned into minutes. George stopped working for a second, only to resume again when his boss came in the same room."

Boss: "Jesus Christ on a cross, George, do you ever stop working? You've been at it for two hours!"

Has it already been two hours? George thought. To him it felt like two minutes. Then all of a sudden, a shaking began, the shaking ended as soon as it began. Could that foreshadow a cave-in? George prayed not. Thankfully, the boss ordered everyone out of the mine and to the over-world immediately. While George's pray was answered, another problem stewed. When George's eyes fully adjusted to the light outside, he saw a stunning display of fire and smoke all around.

Boss: "Wow... alright! Everyone stay here until we figure out what the hell is going on!"

No one sat still, all ran to their homes and families, including George. This morning it took George 30 minutes to get to work, running back to his house for his wife and kids only took him 5 minutes. His house was burning, that's didn't matter, he had to find his wife, and especially the kids. George ran to his wife's workplace, George ran inside, asking question after question. She wasn't there. George ran to his children's school. The elementary building was burning, burning to the ground. He heard screams inside, screams that will forever haunt George's life and ears. George fell onto his knees, beginning to weep. He looked to his left, spotting a tank with a Burgundian ensign on it. George stood up and slowly moved toward the Burgundian tank. George closed his eyes, the tank got him in their gunner's sights. The tank's main barrel sounded, and George never opened his eyes again.

The supreme leader would like to announce the quick, bloodless Burgundian invasion of the Rhineland in conquest for their rich and bountiful resources that will be used for any future invasions or wars. NPC ROLEPLAY:
The Michigan Militia is drafted, and 24,000 young men and are sent to defend their country from JB.

The young men's feild Marshall, link them with the main army, 86,000 men, making their defending force over 100,000. The march is grueling, as it has been raining, to an extent unbridled in history. Deerminsion keeps the sluggish army moving,

"Our forces are moving at a asmathic snails pace, who has done heavy shopping, but our boys are determined as they ever will be." ~LT Colonel Brenford.

Depsite the horreorues weather, the Michigan army chuggs along, with the fourth batallion meeting a JBian force.

Skirmish of the Fourth Batallion, as seen by Private Wenfield:
"We marched along, singing the song "Hope". It was a simple title, with simple words as that, however it kept my batallion going strong, at least mine."

"The rain had not ceased one bit, however my mind was not on that endeavor, i was distracted by my wet socks. We had half a mild to go, but I was still frughtuflly worried about trenchfoot. Then, shots rang out."

Bang, Bang

"Relentless fire ensured, and by what I could gather, half my platoon, was shot . We took cover behind a log, but the JBian fire was ruthless. We had decided to charge. Bayonets fixed."

"I froze as the order was given, but obeyed. I fixed my bayonet, Nothing compared to bullets square intent on using my head for target practice, I thought."

In the Zagros mountains, on the border of Azadliq and Persia

The key to staying warm in the Zagros mountains during winter is the keep moving. The problem is that, at night, the human eye sees movement extraordinarily well, so if you don't want to be seen, you need to stand still. For the moment, the 143rd Mountain Guerilla Team was keeping still, having lain down in the deep snow on either side of the patrol's path. It wasn't hard to predict their path-- they were using snowmobiles, and were more concerned with completing the patrol and getting somewhere warm than doing it properly. Of course, this also meant that the team had heard them coming from several hundred meters away. As the vehicle came within 20 meters of the 143rd, two pointmen fired, their suppressed weapons cracking the night's silence. Both Persian soldiers were struck and fell off the snowmobile, which kept going for another meter or so. After checking the bodies to ensure they were deceased, the team continued toward their objective.

The team came to a ridge on the mountain just north of Objective Alpha. Lieutenant Moridi brought up his binoculars and looked out over the objective, pleased with what he saw. The border checkpoint was lit up like a city, ruining the night vision of all those inside, and matching the tactical map he'd been given. Two barracks in the north-eastern part of the compound with a mess tent along the rest of the northern side of the chain-link fence. Adjacent to the tent was an L-shaped building, which served as a communications center based on the satellite dish on top. Opposite of that was another L-shaped building along the southern fence line which appeared to, in part, be a garage. Finally, next to that building in the south-eastern corner of the compound were two BMPs. Those would be a problem, Moridi knew, but he had a plan.

"Sergeant Bulbul, take team two down the mountain and to the eastern entrance into the compound. Sergeant Nabiyev, have team three set up mortars on this ridge and fire on my command-- three taps will be the signal. I will lead team one down the the northern fenceline. Team three will fire mortars on the barracks, after which team one will begin open firing on the mess tent. Team two will move into the camp, secure the BMPs, kill anyone escaping the barracks, and then take the communications building. After team two has taken the BMPs, team one will move to the western entrance and proceed to take the final building at the south end of the camp." Moridi said, explaining the plan over his team's encrypted radios.

"If anyone runs into trouble, give four taps. Two will be the all clear." Nabiyev said, looking to his lieutenant for approval. Moridi nodded and the three teams of ten men each moved out. Team three set up three mortars while the rest of the men took up defensive positions around the mortars. Team one made it carefully down the mountain and went prone into the snow about 50 meters away from the northern fence line, their AK-74M rifles pointing toward the checkpoint. Team two was moving into position when Bulbul heard a noise and immediately dropped prone, tapping the speaker on his radio four times. Each of these taps came across as a brief moment of static on the radios of the rest of the platoon. Team two dropped into the snow, and in a moment the rest of them heard what Sergeant Bulbul had heard-- a truck. Less than 2 meters from his face, the truck drove past the team and into the checkpoint, stopping in front of the communications center. The team saw a couple soldiers get out and start unloading boxes-- food and supplies, which in reality made the platoon's job easier. Tapping his radio twice, his team resumed moving and took up position 30 meters away from the eastern entrance.

Moridi waited a few moments after the all clear signal to give team two time to get into position, and then tapped his radio three times. The distinctive sound of popping filled the air, and then three mortar shells fell on the barracks, leveling both structures in fiery explosions. Team one open fired, the flashes from their rifles ruining their night vision as the soldiers who had been eating dinner in the mess tent began dropping. Team two moved into the camp, gunning down two soldiers who had been guarding the entrance and a third who had began running toward the BMPs. They secured the vehicles, gunning down the soldiers who were running between the ruined barracks and communications building to escape the massacre at the mess tent.

Leaving half of his men with the vehicles, Sergeant Bulbul ran up to the communications building, turning the doorknob and finding it locked. Nodding to one of his men, Bulbul's men stacked up against the door as the man fired his rifle 3-4 times in each hinge, then kicked. The door fell and Bulbul's man from cut down by pistol fire from within. This pistol fire was met with a frag grenade, exploding inside the building just before Bulbul led his men through it, killing those who remained alive.

After the soldiers at the mess tent were killed Moridi led his men to the western entrance of the checkpoint and into the final L-shaped building. This building was not locked and a firefight broke out, with Moridi's men fighting room-to-room inside. In the end Moridi's men were victorious, and after having the checkpoint swept for survivors one more time, he congregated his platoon in front of the BMPs.

"I had one casualty- dead." Bulbul said, the adrenaline from the assault protecting him from the guilt he'd feel later.

"I had three- two wounded, one dead." Moridi said, glancing at the platoon's medic who set one of the men down and shook his head. "Make that one wounded. Alright, have the corpsman patch him up and leave him here for the 17th to pick up. Nabiyev, we're going to split your fire team between myself and Bulbul. You'll come with me. Corporal, radio command and tell them we're proceeding to Bravo, Charlie, and Delta. Bulbul, you take Charlie, and I'll take Bravo and Delta. We can rendezvous... here, at this village."

"The village might not be friendly to invading soldiers." Nabiyev replied.

"Then we'll do what we have to do." Moridi replied.

A few minutes later, the 17th mechanized infantry regiment-- consisting of trucks, BMPs, light armored vehicles, and a SAM launcher, began heading toward the border checkpoint. They arrived 30 minutes later. The 143rd MGT Platoon continued deeper into Persia, attacking small SAM sites (Bravo, Charlie, and Delta) that had been previously identified through satellite and ground reconnaissance. Across the Zagros mountains, similar assaults occurred as Azadliq quietly but definitively began invading Persia. The invasion was starting out primarily focused on Persia's northern provinces, where Persia's navy would be unable to intervene, which gave Azadliq the advantage. Those military units along the southern border with Persia were placed in defensive combat-ready stances, waiting for an inevitable counter-attack.

Tensions between Normandy and the Spanish were beginning to worsen each day. It seems ever since Normandy took over France the Spanish always wanted to take over their territory. The Spanish recently were accused of harboring plans to send ballistic missiles over Normandy to strike many of its major cities. The French parliament argue amongst themselves over whether or not these accusations have any foundation to support them. “Why waste money, resources and lives over a baseless accusation made by the patriotique party” said one member of the parliament, a majority of the parliament was controlled by the patriotique party however, and a majority of parliament would vote to go to war with Spain.
Dubois sent an airstrike over Barcelona and Zaragoza, followed by multiple divisions of Norman soldiers knocking at the border. The Normans charged in, each commander being handpicked by Alexander Dubois based off their experience and tactics. The Norman’s laid siege on the cities of Girona, Pamplona, Huesca, Bilbao and a few others.
The Spanish fought hard, but couldn’t counter the commanders tactics plus the intense training of the Norman soldiers. Norman snipers and land mines also did not help sway the probability of the Spanish being able to counter the Norman attack. However the Spanish did have the advantage that they were well equipped militarily more towards Madrid, halting the Norman expansion momentarily. The divisions were given orders to take on defensive positions until further notice. Supplies and backup will be sent out into Spain to assist the soldiers currently deployed, and the navy and airforce are beginning to take preparations. Possibly for the worst outcome, or it’s part of Normandy’s plan to damage the Spanish further.

The nation of Ordeenstaat-Burgund has announced that they would like to joint-occupy everything west of the Rhine river, with The German Republic's permission. 50% of resources will go to Ordeenstaat-Burgund, the other 50% going to The German Republic, what I mean about 50% is that 50% of all oil extracted, steel and tungsten found, and rubber finalized in factories shall go to Ordeenstaat-Burgund, the other 50% shall be peacefully transported to The German Republic. All food made and harvested from the part of the Rhineland we choose to joint-occupy shall all go to the German Republic, however, one bottle of wine per month that the supreme leader himself will choose, shall go home with him. All military presence shall be confined to army bases and air bases, which will also be joint-occupied with German military presence. Under no circumstances, ever, should Burgundian military officials or German military officials shall ever fight with on another, doing so WILL result in a joint-trial, both featuring Burgundian lawyers and German lawyers, as well as all military officials proven to be part of any fight.

My unit was encamped with scouts ahead looking for Azquqlid forces.

Then, two scouts came rushing running, breathless. We gave them water, and they quickly told us the story. Azqualid forces were near a village, where we could set up an ambush.

Captain Marmaluk schedualed an emergency officers meeting, and I, as a newly appointed 2nd Lieutenant, was to attend.

"It is imperative that we attack, we can stop the Azqualids in their tracks! For now at least.!" the Captain said.

"Then why are we having this meeting, if the answer is so obvious?", I quipped.

"Because Lieutenant, we are under orders to defend this position, and send scouts ahead, so the main army can attack the Azqualids. It would take far too long for the main army to get here."

There was much heated discussion, until the Captain screamed "Enough! We will ambush the Azqualids. Prepare your men officers."

I quickly gathered my fifteen men, telling them to get ready for combat. There was an uneasy air surrounding the camp, chilling everyone to their bones.

We headed out, marching twoards the village that the Azqualids were reportedly near. We practically ran, even though it was perilous to do so. Two of my men, Private Mekana, and Corporal Zaki slipped to their death.

After perilously stepping to where the Azqualids reportedly were, we saw nothing, but smelled cigar smoke. I knew, we found them.

I went around, whispering to each of my men, as did the officers did, to fire when I said "Blow.", the standard order, as it would confuse the enemy.

Every step I made increased my paranoia, believing that an Azqiadil would step behind me, and shoot me.

Tension filled the air, and I looked at my synchronized watch. One more minute. Thirty seconds.

"Blow!"

Ne'mat was a small village of shacks situated next to a bend in a small river. to the south and west was a large mountain, and to the north and east was an large valley. All in all it must have been a nice village, Moridi thought. Too bad it wouldn't exist for much longer. As the Persian soldiers carelessly ran toward the village, Moridi was grateful that he'd stationed lookouts. He was able to spot them coming from a few kilometers off and had evacuated his men across the river and half a kilometer west. Watching the Persian's fire on the empty village with his binoculars, he pulled out his radio and spoke into it. "They're at the village."

15 kilometers away, an SU-34 dropped a Zoobin ASM from its wing. The copilot used the missile's tv-guided system to bring the missile down onto the village, leveling almost the entire village and killing several Persians (though he couldn't tell how many precisely). Upon seeing the explosion Moridi and his men quickly moved in, firing when they got within 100 meters of the surviving, dazed Persians until they were neutralized. From there they began traveling southeast, back into the mountains, where they planned to begin ambushing convoys moving into Herat. The SU-34 turned south as well, rejoining its squadron as they, too, traveled toward Herat.

Herat, 4th Infantry Corps
General Mavilev's men approached Herat quickly. It was the first step before moving on towards Farah and Kandahar, and if it fell, the rest of the province would fall quickly as well. Driving APCs, BMPs, and a series of other light-armored vehicles-- most of the Azadliqi armored divisions were stationed by the coast, for obvious reasons-- they moved quickly along highway 36 toward the city. As they approached they came past a massive graveyard, where seeming generations had been buried. Mavilev, safely inside of his command truck, wondered how many more would be buried there before the week's end.

SU-47 fighters soared overhead, traveling at supersonic speeds to drop missiles at suspected SAM sites in the city and to head off any Persian aircraft that might be coming to intercept the bombers that followed. Three squadrons of SU-34 bombers dropped Zoobin ASM missiles onto the city, striking government buildings, police stations, and other strategic emplacements within Herat. Following the bombers, Azadliqi artillery continued to fire on specified targets as the 4th moved into the city. General Mavilev's command truck stayed behind with the artillery and reserve forces.

Sam Taylors was wearing a bullet-proof vest as his cameraman rolled the tape. There may have been people dying and bullets flying, but the news still had to be reported. Crouching behind a stone wall, Sam spoke.

"Azadliqi forces moved very quickly to get to Herat this morning. Earlier they bombed the city-- you can see what's left of this police station over there-- and artillery has been falling all morning. Persian forces are doing what they can, but--"

Sam was cut off as, on live television, several rounds fired from a BMP ripped through a police car about 20 meters behind Taylors, killing the officers using it as cover. Within a moment Azadliqi infantry had moved forward and, one of them seeing the camera, ripped it from the cameraman's hands and smashed it on the ground. For fear of their lives, neither Taylors nor his cameraman tried to intervene.

The Azqauqliq's invaded my homeland. My people. And they would suffer.

That was the solemn vow that I made, with anger in my breath on the steps on the great mountain. The Azqualids would not pass, they shall not pass, and under my watch, would never take an inch, an inch of my soil.

Four Hours Before:
"Blow!"

"Blow" was the command for fire in the Persian army. Our platoon had hoped to push the Azqualidqs back to counter there, but alas it was not to be.

We hoped the Azaquilqs would be confused, panicked and would run away, saving the village, and countless souls. However, whithin ten seconds, the entire Azaqliq unit fired back in a roar of steel and flesh.

I quickly took cover, but the two soldiers were not so lucky. With the grace of god, I was alive I began to realize.

I had four more bullets left before I needed to reload, so stood out from cover and shot. In all honesty, I most likely missed.

The Azquaqlids overwhelmed us, and I prepared an organized retreat. I called four of my men to stay behind and cover fire, while the rest of us retreated into the mountains. We were now cut off from our camp, as more Azqauqliq's were firing from the path in the direction in the camp.

We hastily made our way towards the mountain, with a looming fear behind us. It was such a perfect opportunity, how could WE be routed? The Azqauqliq's did possess the superior technology, but I was yet confident that we would win.

I counted up our losses, and out of our forty man platoon, we had lost sixteen, and fourteen were injured, and four (the ones we had left behind), dead I presumed solemnly, missing.

We kept out path, until we stumbled onto the opportunity of a lifetime. A parachuter, certainlty Azqaliqueqec, tripped me over. I smiled.

We dragged the Azqudkiq to an abandoned house, and searched him for anything of importance.

At first, we thought it would be nothing of importance, perhaps some navigqtio equipment, but what we found could change the war.

The President of America JB has awoken in the morning to the screeching of an annoying alarm clock. He jumps out of bed to shut the dang thing off. He gladly heads right back to bed but, an advisor tells him that it is urgent he comes down to the situation room. The President reluctantly heads down to the situation room, in which he sees a panel of Generals ready for a response. He has been informed of the Militias malicious intent in Ohio and wants to see this issue swiftly resolved before America JB looses Ohio or to where international community doesn't see America JB's claim to it as legit.

The President reluctantly heads down to the situation room, in which he sees a panel of Generals ready for a response. He has been informed of the Militias malicious intent in Ohio and wants to see this issue swiftly resolved before America JB looses Ohio or to where international community doesn't see America JB's claim to it as legit.

The millitia leader, Edward Randall walked up to atop of a cardboard box. He walked with a rage of fury, and did not try to hide that fury.

Randall, once atop his cardboard box, felt like he was atop a castle. He was elevated but a paltry three feet or so, but felt like he was standing atop a golden platform, nearly reaching the heavens.

Of course, Randall had made notes for a speech, but the notes were more for piece of mind. Randall looked once more upon the crowd of militia, a ragtag group indeed. Randall cleared his throat, for he had heard clearing your throat before a speech made you command the audience. It had made Randall feel quite silly, but he nontheless continued with his speech.

"Good people of Ohio, we have been invaded. By the tyranny, and the oppression of JB. They came into Michigan, and seized it. And now, they come to seize your homes. Your land. The homes and land, to pass on to your children."

"We must fight, not on a distant battlefield, on a foriegn feild, for a strange, foriegn cause, noble to some only. We fight for our lives, in our forests, in our fields, in out towns."

The crowd erupted in cheering, and later that day, due to the inspiring speech gave by randall, 848 men signed up for the Ohio militia, nearly enough to create a new batallion.

History/why you own the territory you do:

1991, the Soviet union had fallen and its people divided, a year which lives on in memory as one of the most historical moments in history but its consequences where greater than anyone could have imagined. Terrorism, Separatism and a large increase in crime made the once relatively safe union into a war zone. People now lived in fear and as the Motherland separated many felt betrayed by Boris and the new politicians and demanded a return to the old and so people marched towards Moscow. There Communists, Socialists and social democrats agreed on a coalition to take down the corrupt and dividing government. in 1994 they successfully stormed the kremlin and other government buildings and declared the Moscow Commune was declared. Soon government buildings where re-filled with communists and socialists with Pankiv Nikolay serving as general secretary of the new party and state. But many oblasts that still had pro Boris governments refused to accept the new government and declared war. From 1995 to 2001 a war between Soviets and Borists was held and it saw brutal fighting yet the soviets unexpectedly came victorious with fellow revolutionaries in the oblasts and defeating the coalition of its neighbours.

The war while brutal made a mark in history as many began to return to the soviets and a strong sense of patriotism and Soviet expansionism has grown. While some parties and media have been censored there’s hope that the new soviet regime will be more democratic as Pankiv Nikolay has stated: ‘’I believe in a free Soviet Union and I hope many agree, I wish to get rid of the Stalinist past and begin a new soviet democracy.’’ Indicating his ideas of allowing a multi-party which he’s promoted many times in his speeches yet its generally still unknown what the future holds.
In 2004 ten years after the declaration of the Moscow commune one of the largest celebrations in new soviet history was held with thousands coming to Moscow to celebrate victory and a successful ten years of freedom but also to morn the fallen during the war and to debate the future. Mid through the celebration Pankiv Nikolay came out to hold a speech, a speech which would become of historical importance for the soviet people.

‘’Ten years! Ten years of brave fighting for the liberation of workers, farmers and of the Russian people. Ten years of successful labour and hard work to bring back our union. From Moscow to Smolensk and from Smolensk to Tver we the people of our new union have and will work hard and shown world that we will not give up for the revolution is endless! Comrades today will be a day which will live in infamy as we now united more people we’re no longer a commune but instead a union! A union of soviet socialist republics and dues I bring fourth our new union and to this we cheer and salute the flag for and to this we toast!’’

After the speech the flag was raised, the anthem played with the people singing and the rebirth of the Soviet union was declared. The speech was broadcasted across many countries but mainly Russian news networks sympathetic to the union cause.

Since the war the soviets have tried to reform and succeeded but many other oblasts and states within the former Russia refused to recognise them and have opted to not export goods to them so resources are running out. Now with popular support the soviets have decided to start a reclaiming campaign of Russia and the former soviet union.

With a ever growing new German expansionistic regime the soviets have taken the title of protector of the eastern people and have threatened to take action if expansion continues. Though some nations don’t recognise the state many nations like Belarus have worked with the union and have held several discussions of a possible union as many in Belarus supports the new union and both have suspicious views of Germany. In the south there’s tension between the soviets and the corrupt regimes in southern Russia and now with a growing need for resources many in the south fear another war between them and the newly improved Red army which was reformed in 2011, though its still not entirely modern.

In the north the city of St. Petersburg holds great significance as it’s the home of the 1917 revolution but its currently being occupied by anti-communist warlords so the union has a unstable relationship with the warlord and soon it could resolve into a war.

Relations with the west is stale and trade is little but recently the Italians have had interest in the region and helped reform the army supplying the state with weapons.

This treaty would severely hurt us and allow for Germanic expansion in the east which historically has been proven only bad for the people. This treaty is unfair to the slavs and only expands the territories and influence oft he Germans onto our sacred eastern land. but instead i propose a new border:


this border would allow for a unification of slavs and would bring back stability into the region and Europe as there would then be two semi large blocs. with this you'll get a small chunk of Ukraine though rich with forests, a small part of Belarus, Lithuania, the Estonian Islands and the south of Latvia (splitting Riga into two) but because you'll get less i promise not to interfere or conquer Romania and Scandinavia. this treaty would also include a Non-Aggression pact.

The President of America JBm John Tyler, has invited the Governors of the five America JBian States to the Executive Mansion for a dinner. There, they discussed issues facing the nation and how the President could better help them. All of the Governors, the Governor of Illinois in particular, presented the very clear concern that the United States of America JB does not have direct access to the Atlantic ocean for trading. This is a very important thing to get control and be apart of for the America JBian economy and security. So, after the meeting the President called up the Speaker of the House.
In the call with the Speaker, the President asked for a vote to approve direct invasion of the territory that is West Virginia and Maryland. The Speaker said, "Sir, with all due respect, I think we have already overdone our direct imperialist invasions in this Continent." The President responded by saying, "We must get this done". The Speaker refused to comply and said it's a terrible idea. So, what the President does is, send in a special unit of the army to West Virginia and Maryland to enhance a state of rebellion against the territorial governments. In a matter of four months, the spies have organized associations and have won a caucus in each other those territories legislatures. This is a very dangerous mission since those soldiers, or spies, can be charged and sentenced to death for treason.
In a meeting of each those two territories legislatures, the puppet lawmakers proposed a motion to dissolve and gave very good reason for doing so. After much debate and deliberation, West Virginia legislature dissolved and elections were scheduled to take place. The President of America JB saw this take place and took this as an opportunity to roll in with a militia group known as the Blue bandits. These men rode into the State house and forced the Governor to sign documents, officially recognizing that West Virginia is now a State of America JB. The Speaker of the House in the America JBian General Assembly blasted this action as careless and dictatorial. He vowed to investigate this event to the full extent of the law. His only problem is, the America JBian people strongly support this action and want to see more of it. The Speakers hands are tied, just what the President wanted.
In Maryland though, the Governor was assassinated by some other outside person, not pertaining to the mission by America JB. It was reported the assassin was a domestic terrorist. Anyways, President Tyler saw this as an opportunity for the America JBian army to get directly involved. So, in a week the JBian army arrived at the Capitol of Maryland and posted a notice on the door, that the President wishes and orders the legislature to ratify the document and become a State of America JB. The legislature in fear and hesitation did ratify the document and did become a State.

With the fall of the motherland generals, politicians and figureheads took what they could and one such man is Runov Georgiy or the Iron fist of the north as he’s known as in Moscow. Born in 1973 in Minsk to a Russian family Georgiy spent much time reading and living the standard life of the typical soviet but his life in Minsk wouldn’t last long as Family moved to Moscow to try and get a better education but like many others his family was arrested only days later for supposedly having anti communist views and taken away to a gulag which deeply hurt Georgiy, and shaped many of his future views, yet later in 1989 he joined the military briefly but had to leave after a injury. Then in 1991 when the soviet union fell he quickly began getting into politics more and soon he’d become a well known politician but it wouldn’t be till the complete collapse of Russia till he got the recognition he has today. Setting up a small militia in Tikhvin, Georgiy led many campaigns to capture Karelian and Ingrian land and soon he’d taken over a large chunk of land but he still was not satisfied and pushed towards St. Petersburg. In the famous battle he led a massive charge with infantry units and one tank which they’d stolen from the former military. In the end Georgiy’s forces won over the small Partisan units in St. Petersburg.

now years later with the rebirth of the new Soviet Union and with a strong sense of new soviet expansionism the new Red army has been given order directly by the Marshal of soviet union, Pankiv Nikolay, to invade the ‘’Rouge northern militarist north.’’. while Georgiy’s army is not very efficient it does have an advantage has the terrain and forests protects them from large offensives but knowing this general Valery Gerasimov requested that he’d be given the newly formed winter units and much winter suited motorized units as possible. This would help him both with the terrain but also the climate as both Karelia and Ingria are known for their heavy winters.
Not too long after the order and the units being organised the red army charged into the north with high speed taking villages, cities and large regions with little resistance. Pushing as far in as to Pskov and taking several of Georgiy’s forces by surprise. Around 17,000 enemy troops where supposedly captured when the red army took Pskov and around 14,000 captured in Veliky Novgorod.


**Uprising in St. Petersburg**
Since the beginning of the war Pankiv Nikolay where in close contact with Russian communists in st Petersburg and have sent secret supplying missions to the communist partisans there. Now with the enemy being confused and unorganised Pankiv has given the request that the partisans in st Petersburg rise up and start a revolution which they accepted.
Soon St. Petersburg which had been generally unguarded fell with resounding victory for the communists and soon other towns nearby also rose up. Now having to fight on two front the enemy is split and forced to fight on both a stretched and long border but also with guerrilla forces in St. Petersburg. All this continues to contribute and allow the large success for the red army.
Pankiv Nikolay has also sent a ultimatum to Georgiy which states:
‘’By request of my cabinet we’ve concluded that this war between us will most likely result in many deaths but this can be halted if you where to surrender. We guarantee you your life and in return we wish that you’ll halt your forces and officially step down along with your militias and troops. We will welcome any surrender with mercy but if you do not surrender we can not promise you nor your troops safety or mercy.’’ -General secretary of CPSU and marshal of the soviet union, Pankiv Nikolay.

The red army continues its advance but in the government they wait for a response from Runov Georgiy but only time will tell.

During the invasion musicians from Moscow came to higher the moral and one song frequently played was "Красная Армия всех сильней" or White Army, Black baron as its known in English. Its song comes from the times of the Russian civil war but it still is well known song today especially among the troops.

Virginia Governors Mansion
A meeting was held between the governors of Virginia, and North Carolina to discuss the matter of JBIAN expansion.

"There acts are atrocious on every level, and must be brought to a halt!" the virginian governor James Polk said, with obvious fury.

"Polk, Polk, please calm down, I am sure that a treaty of sorts can be brought to terms."

"Terms? Do you think the jbians are intrested in terms? They assassinate a governor, force one to sign bills, why would they come to terms dear governor?"

"I believe that their expansion will come to a halt. The opposing party strongly speaks agaist these actions, and-"

"And what? A man in a suit, 500 miles away, oh, terribly sorry, four men in suits 500 miles away have some grievances? We must call for a United coalition agaist jbian expansion."

"Polk, I am sorry, but we must act moderately, we cannot allow-"

"Moderatly? Moderatly? Was killing a governor, forcing one to sign documents moderate? Soon itll be us assassinated! Us forced to sign bills. Dont you see that? North Carolina can help Virginia stop this."

The North Carolonain governor Isaiah looked down onto the floorboards, and recalled a sweet memory. His father had once said "Never allow anyone, not one man, however power, to trample all over you." This memory came to him suddenly. John Tyler, the governor murmured to himself.

"I will introduce this to the North Carolinain parliament."

"Thank you dearest friend."

In a sweeping 41-9 vote, and 38-12 vote respectively in both states legislature, north Carolina and Virginia signed a resolution to curb Jbian expansion.

Two days later, the Kentucky Senare debated the resolution with ferosity.

"We should not join this alliance, this anti jbian alliance. They are our kin."

"Kin who have been led astray by sin dearest senator. They assassinate one governor, the governor of Massachusetts, a sweet, dear man who loves his people, and forces west Virginia to join their so called union of liberty. It is imperative, to join this alliance, to curb jbain expansion."

Harsh words and insults were thrown at whim, however, in a 52-48 vote, Kentucky joined the alliance to curb jbian expansion as well.
